- Today we're back stateside at Doogie's in Newington, Connecticut having a crack at their infamous hot dog challenge...
Diners get twenty minutes in which to finish two 2ft hot dogs with four toppings, a portion of fries and a drink. If successful, you don't get the $40 meal free, but you do get a t-shirt, a spot on their wall of fame, a $20 gift card and a frequent diner's discount card.

Grabbing dude’s extra, leftover chili dog on your way out is one of the gnarliest things I’ve seen, lol. You’re absolutely savage.

This man ate fries plus 4ft of hot dog then proceeded to take a hot dog for the road. Absolute legend

As someone born and raised in CT, I am glad to see everyone soo kind and respectful. Awesome job and I'm shocked I never tried Doogie's myself.
We called my (late) mom, "hollow leg" because she could eat like no one would believe. At a buffet, she would "warm up" with a couple of hot dogs before moving onto a few servings of fried chicken and mashed potatoes and then like the Beard, get some dessert! RIP Mom, miss and love you!
"I can't see a good food go to waste" is a commendable comment.
