This video had a grip on me at the ripe age of 10-ish. I was obsessed with it, trying to summon the demon thing and making a tag-like game and trying to get my friends to play it with me. I had my own dreams about it, though I of course don’t remember any specifics on them any more. Anyways, thanks for your influence on my life. You were my favorite person ever for a good period of time, along with James and Jaiden. You totally influenced my interests and sense of humor over the years. Thanks.

The scariest dreams to me are the ones that happen multiple times. Recurring nightmares. I kept having a dream a while back where a different member of my family tried to hurt me physically. The culprit was different every night

i feel you i had this type of dream too evrey night i got with my mon sitster and me in mos bedroom (my dad night at work) with our tablets so can have fun but evrey night a killer showed up in my house like its was so scary and that muliple times and one time with my sitser me and dad and my MOM wehre at work but like 2 months later there was a 2 part it was that we found a cave under our haouse and all kilers showed up but one of them were nice and helped us to survive but i feel u so hard xam :D
I had a recurring dream that my mom was fake and killed all my other family members, every time my dream started I either appeared in a distorted version of my house or a wasteland with evidence of former humans, each time my dream ended, my mom had broke her own bones and swallowed me whole
A happy ending to that dream, characters from my favorite CN shows defended me and helped me stop it
You might not hear what I have to say but I have this re occurring dream of this white dressed woman and black hair covering her face you know the usual ghost thoughts. Once you see it... it follows you everywhere you can not be in a location near it for too long you can see from 3rd person and you can see it walking slowly towards you from miles away going to a new location causes it to restart its distance. The only way to get rid of it is to survive I never knew what it was like being caught as I always survived.
The scary thing about this video isn’t the nightmare itself, but how he remembers it so clearly

That old nightmare you described is very similar ro one I had as a kid:
My dad dropped me off at daycare and instead of teachers, at the reception there was a living Mannequin that tried to kill me.
My dad was already leaving and while I tried to run after him, I wasn't able to move as the Mannequin closed in.
As someone who used to always be oddly freaked out by mannequins that sounds horrifying

Come to think of it, two of the nightmares from when I was younger that I can remember, it was about my parents being in danger.
In the first one, my dad got stuck in the McDonald's "M" sign. Yeah. I don't know either. But I was trying to get him out.
The second one, my mom fell into a crevice. I tried to pull her out, but only fell in myself.
One time when I was about 5 or something I was scared or really big and tall things and the nightmare I had isn't that scary but it was scary at the time. So one of them I was getting dropped of at the dentist in London for some reason and we got there and everyone heard a big crash as soon as it hit 12 AM and everyone went outside and we saw it... The big Ben clock had fallen both by pearants and the dentist had gotten inside their car and was driving away without me :( .
4 years since this video came out and I just realised how fitting the Bo Burnham clip right at the start is. The song that ends before he stops watching is "Left Brain, Right Brain," and after he watches it, we see Adam's left and right brain!

I had a dream that I was having a fantastic day at the beach and then suddenly my sis turns into a demon. Red black eyes, floating hair, pure white skin, giant claws and black wings. And she drowns me
This was a series of repetitive dreams I had when I was 3-6 y/o. Some may say it's not really scary, and I agree, but it still creeps me out a little.
Every time I had the dream, it started with me and my mom sitting in a tiny room on a single chair. The room was a pale grey color, had one window, and one queen sized bed. We would look out the window, and see three witches coming. I would hide under the bed but my mom couldn't fit. They would then turn her into a frog, or kill her depending on the dream. However, this one time, I was now too big to fit under the bed. As I struggled to fit my body under they opened the door, and turned me into a frog. This is the part that really creeps me out. After that, the dream ended ofc, and I NEVER had that dream again. Nor any dream related to it. It's not really nightmarish, but to have that exact dream twice every year and then it suddenly just stops after those characters in the dream get to you? I like to think of it as my guardian angels checking up on me, then finally saying "You're old/big enough to protect yourself now. This is my final goodbye. But we'll always be watching you," the always be watching you part is bc a guardian angel wouldn't leave, and they did in fact pick me up and take me somewhere once I was a frog. I remember I once sorta had a nightmare like this as a 6-8 year old, about Cruella de Ville lmao. In the nightmare, there was this thing called Cruella de Ville night, where she basically went house to house and would peek into the windows to see if she could see a child. If she did, she would take and murder them. So one night I was sitting on the couch with my parents and my dad suddenly remembered that it was Cruella de Ville night. Me and my sister immediately scattered, my sister hiding under a cabinet that shielded her from every window in the room. I saw that the chairs around the dinner table (that was next to a big window) had multiplied to the point the backs almost formed a solid wall around the table, so I layed on the seats. I was curious to see if Cruella was coming so I peeked over and that was exactly the moment she looked through my window. I saw her eyes turn red and then I was suddenly in a dark room where she emerged from a cloud of green smoke. She was holding a remote and she screamed "Now we try again!" and pressed the reverse button. Then I was back on the chairs and the same thing as before kept happening. Then after the third time I finally woke up in a panic lol. Still my most vivid nightmare even now that I'm 19

What I want to know is how his dreams actually have coherent plotlines. Mine are basically a bunch of bizarre, disconnected clips. My sister once plotted out a whole fantasy novel in her dream.

This UA-cam video is what gave me insomnia when I was younger and easily scared. It lasted for two years but then I got rid of the fear but still couldn’t sleep, all because of this video.

I don’t have “scary” dreams that much, but fever dreams or dreams you have directly after eating a lot are freaking wild! One of the strangest ones was this:
I was awake, with a fever, staring at a blue trash can outside of my room. I don’t know why. Then, my head made me think I was hearing loud, pulsing noises that just progressively got louder, like a baby’s scream. I didn’t “hear” it, but my brain did. After that I just imagined skeletons and other weird figures dancing around a fire in a forest. Again, my brain “saw” this so clear, and heard it too, but my eyes remained still and my ears quiet. I kept staring at the blue trash can

I’ve had this dream three times in my life, every few years I dream about going through my house and seeing this dark shadow. After I see it the shadow possesses one of my family members. It’s gotten to the point that my dream family knows what’s happening and how to react to ‘save’ my possessed family member. The most recent one was when we had to travel somewhere old and find this object that I have no memory of. It is a weird dream and I hate it so much

i’ve had scarier but the first nightmare i’ve ever had was when i was like 5? 6? and i was in a completely blank world. just white walls, white floor, nothing else. i was running from something and out of nowhere i see this big rock to hide behind. i hide and wait for it to pass but when i look over some giant, dark, monster of some sort took a bite out of my side. it woke me up and i could still feel the pain in my side.
that led into a genuinely YEARS long pattern of having to die in my dreams in order to wake up. i’m 20 now and it’s finally stopped
I remember having a nightmare that I still recall. I forgot how it ended, but I will tell you all. TW: Bugs// I remember the dream starting where I was in my old house with my two sisters on the couch watching tv. But it looked like I was watching this scene from another person’s perspective. We were sitting on the couch, just staring at the tv. I couldn’t remember what we were watching and I couldn’t hear anything. I remember at a certain point, bugs like cockroach’s and other things, started crawling out from the cracks of the couch. They were doing nothing to my sisters but they were crawling to me. For some reason, my mouth was now open. The bugs crawled on my skin, going into my eyes, nose, ears, mouth, covering my whole body. And then it must’ve turned morning or I woke up because the nightmare ended and I don’t remember anything after that. It terrified me but I’m alright now. But sometimes it still comes upon my mind.
There is also another nightmare I had that I will also say. TW: Gore// This nightmare is short and I don’t recall it even having an ending. It was just like I was looking at a picture or a scene in a movie. It was in front of a mansion and there was a gate that could let you enter into the property. On top of the gate it was very sharp and spiky. But I remember seeing one thing. My family. My Mom, Dad, Two Sisters, and Me. We were dead, hanging by our eyelids on top of the spiked gate. It’s all I remember, but it still terrifies and makes me wanna sob to this day. I don’t like thinking about it because I hate gore. A little bit of it is fine but I hate a lot of it. I had a nightmare ages ago where I was in bed and woke up. When I woke up there was a bunch of mannequins which tried to grab me so I sprinted out of my room and tried to reach my parents. In the hall the gravity thing happened and I tried to scream but I couldn’t, I turned around and the mannequins grabbed me then I woke up. For the next few years I couldn’t go in clothing stores since I thought I would get killed by one of the mannequins
I remember watching this when it first came out and watching it over and over and claiming it my favorite video on UA-cam :)

I escaped your jumpscare by so little, I was putting my pc back to place the moment you jumpscared and us and returned when it ended.
I once had a “dream” so horrifying that it still haunts me to this day. It happened a few months ago.
I can’t remember how I got into the situation I was in but I remember that I first “woke up.” I get down from my top bunk walk downstairs and started making pancakes, but then I realize I’m not actually controlling my body. Before I had thought I ACTUALLY woke up from sleeping and started making pancakes. It all felt so real. Before I know it I’m back in my bed. I “wake up” again and get half way down my ladder and realize again, this isn’t actually real. I don’t know for how long this went on, with me dead set on the thought each time I woke up that I finally was awake and out of this nightmare. I felt like I was trapped in my body. I couldn’t tell what was reality vs my dream.
What haunts me to this day is the thought that, maybe, I haven’t woken up yet. Everything feels “real.” But there’s no way I can know for sure.

A couple months ago I had a dream that made me want to run to to the living room to hug my dog.
It started with me, my parents, my brother, and my dog outside of a hotel putting stuff in our car to go home. My dog was in a little red wagon and suddenly a huge pole had been jabbed straight through his head. His limbs were contorted and his face was mutilated. Suddenly it cut to when we were driving home on the freeway, and because it is a dream, and dreams can just be weird like that, his body was lying down on the car seat next to mine, and his head was still outside in the wagon, pole still jabbed through it, cruising beside our car. It just went like that for about a minute before I woke up. I rushed out to the living room to make sure he was ok, and he was.
This dream left me shook for days. Thankfully however, it was just a one time dream, and not a reoccurring one.
I had a dream like this too I was playing with my friends though and when somebody gets caught you're forced to watch their skin slowly start warping into something else then disappear.

I wish I had actually cool dreams like this, even if they are nightmares...
Instead, they're all just "Uhhhhhhh......" and I can barely remember them.
I recently had this weird dream where I was stuck being roommates with a bunch of weird monster creatures at a fancy school. Also nifty from hazbin hotel was there and chasing me with her knife from episode 8 trying to kill me. I think that one scene traumatized me just a lil bit.

That daycare dream reminds me of a dream basically me and my family went to a playground/daycare and they all just walked away while I was stuck in the tire swing

now lemme tell mine:
i was over at my grandparents' house in the middle of the night.
i was at the top floor of it, and for some reason, there were like notifications popping up that i somehow knew were about monsters.
in these notifications the sound of the monster would play, and they would display how the monster looks.
the first ones didn't make any sounds nor did they have the monsters, but they were implying that the monsters were there.
once it got further in i started getting seriously paranoid, very quiet monster sounds started playing.
and then at the end of the nightmare, i could see the monsters phasing through walls, and in a notification there was a monster and a very loud sound.
at this point i physically tried to scream because of how paranoid i was, but i was literally unable to scream in the dream.
now idk how but in nightmares i always realise that i'm having a nightmare and gain conciousness.
so when i was extremely paranoid i just opened my eyes.
didn't move at all, just closed my eyes again to not see anything.
i was petrified, my brain is quite good at making me absolutely lose my mind in nightmares.

My earliest nightmares I remember is one where a giant floating octopus carried me to a treasure chest full of clothes, and it told me to play dress-up
the other one is that I was in a foggy forest with my family when we sat down on a bench and my family disappeared and some wolves appeared and ate me
I am a huge fan of Bo Burnham and the first scene was from his "what." show, the song he just finish singing was "Left Brain, Right Brain" and the next scene was Adam's left and right brain. Idk if anyone else noticed this but I got so excited when I noticed it

I have nightmares but I have removed the feeling of scared from my brain from watching too much horror content and jumpscares so nightmares don’t really exist anymore as all my dreams are technically nightmares that just don’t creep me out

I would have nightmares mixed with my ptsd so my abuser would be trying to pick me up out of bed and kidnap me but I would wake up and he’d drop me and disappear I was still asleep but thought I had woken up when I did wake up my step dad was standing over me and scared the crap out of me he came to check on me because I was moaning in my sleep I hide under my blanket cause i thought I was still dreaming it was horrible he had comfort me until I calmed down & realized it was fine the sensation of being picked up and dropped over and over still haunts me and you know other horrible nightmares that aren’t really appropriate for youtube or you g kids who might read this ...so yeah nightmares fueled by ptsd are the worst i feel you there...

I’ve had several weird nightmares. Ones based on the grudge, abstract carnivals and theme parks, bear attacks. I’ve even had a few about the Slenderman. But one always stood out to me. The only dream that ever stood out to me, because whenever I hit a low point in life or when I’m out in a situation where it seems like nobody is with me. I remember this dream.
I was in third grade, in my room playing with legos, magnetix, bionicle, stuff like that. I was hanging out with a girl from school who was pretty popular, it wasn’t like a kid’s version of a date, I think we were breaking from studying. The first thing I remember is seeing a creature of some kind move out of view from my bedroom door, it was all red and I only saw a big leg like an upright lizard, but that wasn’t what I was supposed to be worried about, it’d never show up again and it wouldn’t need to.
I was grabbed by the shoulders and dragged into my open closet, faster than I could think. And that was when only the first part of the dream I had to deal with. Two weeks later another nightmare, I’ve somehow escaped from whatever pulled me into the closet. I didn’t know what it was and I never ended up knowing what it did or would do to me, I just knew I was too traumatized to risk it again.
At this point it’s night, nobody awake in the house, I couldn’t count on anybody to help me. I was running across the hallway to the stairs but it felt like hundreds of feet away. By the time I got there I was already tired enough that I lost my footing on the second step down and fell to the bottom.
I couldn’t move, I had no feeling anywhere, I could hear the incredibly fast thumping of the thing that pulled me into the closet. Conveniently, and all the worse for me, my head was tilted just right to be looking up the stairs. I was only able to see it for a single second before it came from the top of the stairs down to me.
It crawled on all fours but had a human body, it’s head was upside down and I don’t remember if I could see eyes, but I know there were sockets. I saw no teeth but I knew it had a mouth. It just barreled down the steps like there was nothing else it ever wanted to do more than reach me. And when it got close enough that it caught light from outside, I saw myself in its face.

I had this kind of thing happen to me but IRL, one of my friends explained this new creepypasta to me and I was skeptical so we played the game, nothing happened, and then I started lying about seeing the 'Faceless' (its what is was called hear me out here this was like 2014) basically I faked seeing it and scared a bunch of people. I then double tapped my girlfriend at the time. She thought I had transferred it to her and broke up with me promptly.
I regret nothing.
I had a nightmare once where we were in a haunted forest and we were in some fancy shack we were eating dinner then my cousin became feral and slowly came closer and boom my other cousin died and i woke up
I still remember it vividly
