My fear of heights is very specific. I'm not scared of heights, I'm scared of faulty things around me that would lead me to falling. So I'm cool with being in tall buildings and looking over the hedge, but I'm scared of the window breaking or the railing breaking LOL

I went on a backpacking trip with my boy scout troop. We went to an abandoned railroad. We came to a bridge that had a drop of over 500 feet. There was a grate path beside the tracks, and it was like walking on glass!! Others were hopping across like it was nothing while I was slowly going across and crying. What made it worse was that we had to go across for a second time to get back.

My class trip in fourth grade was to Stone Mountain, the largest mound of granite. It was located somewhere in Georgia. They only had four floors, but the fourth one was closed because somebody had fallen off. I went through all three floors that were open like a freakin’ champion and it only took about an hour. Also, I couldn’t and still can’t do monkey bars to save my life. My palms just start sweating and I have no grip strength. I like those courses though because it feels like I’m doing parcore and I love it.

My story is that im also terrified of heights (yet to conquer it) but there was this tall jumping gym I went to with my friends. There was like this obstacle ON THE ROOF AND WAS LIKE 50ft HIGH!!! I was forced to do it by my parents (not my dad bribing me with icecream even tho I’m lactose intolerant) I did it and barely survived my mom on the other hand- Um well let’s just say she has the same fear and didn’t make it… the whole way it was a amazing experience helped with my fear but I’m still scared of heights tho

I’m not exactly afraid of heights, but rather the journey getting up to those heights that freaks me out. Me and my family had gone hiking and were atop some pretty cool cliffs, not sure exactly how high but pretty high. Not like a mountain or anything though (but I did go to a mountain once, though horrible view cause a cloud was passing through, yay…) and I was fine. Got a picture sitting at the edge and continued on. On the other hand, there’s a pretty good sized tree at a lake where I sometimes go swimming and wood was nailed to it to act as a ladder. There was one specific branch people would jump off of for fun and I couldn’t get up to it. At all. I’ve tried a few times but each time I only get about half way, I can’t bring myself to keep going.

yeah... I’m also terrified of spiders, ants, insects, bugs, butterflies (fridging *butterflies* ), bees, mosquitos and more tiny animals. Lemme add that I’m also scared of drowning/deep water. The funny thing is, I took swimming lessons for two years and was a great swimmer, but then I didn’t swim for like 3 or more years so I forgot. Let’s just say that I also almost drowned twice after that. Hmm.... oh wait. I almost forgot. I’m scared of stairs and have a little bit of tripophobia (idk how to spell). I think there’s something wrong with me 😂

When I was younger, I was playing tag with my brother and he ran up the stairs. I chased after him be slipped on the third step. I banged my chin really hard on the wooden stair and had to get stitches. I also remember, I was once at my mom’s friends‘ house and I was doing something (I can’t remember) that made me walk up and down the stairs quite often. On one of the trips down, I slipped and rolled down a flight of stairs..... it’s a reaaallyyy embarrassing because I was the shyest person you could meet.

Well, I did have a fear of the dark, but singing helped me get over it eventually, and I used, still sometimes do, sneak around in the dark to get food, and I had a fear of a disembodied face. Just red cat like eyes and a mouth with shark teeth floating, but I decided to draw it and make him a character, so I was able to get over that fear. Also fear of abandonment, but I got over it at some point. I think it was recently this year I got over it.
