@@saidzilla226 Wrong, and I think you didn't understand what Congo was saying. He's referring to the finishing move Giant Bowser uses in this game. Giant Bowser didn't have one in the remake, once the enemy HP reached zero, that was it. In the remake, the HP bar would reach almost zero, and than Bowser would have a "Finishing Move" move, similar to what Giant Luigi had in Dream Team (aka Finishing Bros.). Giant Luigi had it first as Dream Team came out before the remake of Bowser's Inside Story.
Edit: Ooops, meant to say, "Giant Bowser didn't have one in the original, once the enemy HP reached zero, that was it."

Just like Bowser got thrown into space around the earth in mario party 2 by one of the characters.
Honestly, as much as I like the 3d cutscenes and more detail added with the animation, I'm more of a fan of the 2d animation for having more appeal and charm, while also being fast and straight to the point, as the 3d remake makes the transformation scenes drags on for so long.
Still the fight feels off I mean it looks cool yeah but I would have liked it to be more 2d ish, like less angles during the fight.

Gotta love how even the instruments in the Giant Battle soundtrack sound very reminiscent of classic kaiju movies. If those fights didn't make you feel unstoppable already, that adds that final required touch.

Just to remember you all, the laser from Super Peach´s Castle is an *UNAVOIDABLE DAMAGE*, it is impossible to avoid it.
I would still call this a no damage run because he dodges every other attack. The laser attack plus black hole showdown was scripted to be unavoidable damage, its not his fault.

38:42 alright in most cases I think they might’ve went a little overboard with the cinematic aspect (the animation is good but it’s very long winded), but the castle being knocked around the globe and back is hilarious even if it’s over the top

In the original game the fawful express was TINY compared to bowser.
They made it significantly larger.
I think they did that so that it would be big enough for Bowser to be able to use his finishing move on it.

Bowser goes all star platinum for his finishers and I love it
They really did this much better in Dream Team. Feels like these giant battles were done the way they were just for nostalgia.

Betty Brown Well, in the original game, in the ending, Peach and the groups of Toads got her castle fixed and just the way it is. So I don’t think there’s going to be much of a major difference from Peach’s emotions in the remake.

As much as I'd like a PIT remake too, it probably won't happen, since it sold much worse and had much more negative feedback than BIS. This is probably why they skipped it and went straight for a BIS remake instead.

The battle against Super Peach's Castle really shows how strong is Bowser

Peach REALLY needs to see what all Bowser has done as an anti-hero in this game. All they do is send him a cake, which is a half assed way of saying thank you as that's what she does everytime. It's like a routine at this point. Do something special for the King. He deserves it. After all, I'd be pretty pissed if I found out my mortal enemies were rummaging around in my body and lied to me about it
Well, they could've tried to calm him down by saying that they were the ones that helped him become the fighting machine that he is. But no, they all just get mad at each other and fight again.

Still Dream Team Giant Boss battles are wayyyyy better, but the giant battles did improve from the original.
Makes sense, these are the predecessors.
They were likely tasked with making them feel as close to the original as possible. Which meant yeah, not as great as Dream Team, but with useful improvements over the original 3!!! :3

Tower of Yikk: Water / Flying type
Fawful Express: Steel / grass type (Grass because of the hill)
Super Princess Peaches Castle: Ather / Magic type (Ather because of the black holes) (Magic Because of the forcefield)
Correction: Peach's castle should be Dark/Fairy

I always liked the sound effect of when Bowser opening his eyes, the shockwave he released upon started to becoming giant, and the little yet more lively cutscene, especially when he goes "NUU-" after shrinking back to normal and before falling down lol

I like the updated graphics, but it’s like the impacts don’t feel right, like punches are sent too slow, and you don’t feel that impact that comes from bowser sucker punching an enemy. 37:30 like here, it looks like he’s tapping peach’s castle instead of ramming into it full force. 38:12 and the finishing move is cool, but they blaze through the punches too fast! It would have been cooler to hold for a bit longer while bowser is letting him have it with that gum gum gatling-esque punching speed. Even the uppercut doesn’t feel like it actually connected.
To me, Bowser looks a little bit dead in these Fights, without blinking, and having his mouth open all time
How to improve with the final blow it replays several times if the contact and the upper cut is in slow motion for the contact and having better sound effects for the fights
It's cause the sound effects dont quite sound as... impactful as in the original. If the sound effects were louder and sounded more like a hit from a giant, it would feel the same as the original

I mean... the Giant fights here were the predecessor of the ones seen in Dream Team (Bros.), so... of course they’d be lower quality, even in a remake! They tried their best to recreate the same general feel of the fights while not making them feel like carbon copes, as seen with the finishing “Spining Slide” move.

Pro strat for the hill part on Fawful Express: Light them on fire and then stall with mushrooms. The train should take extra damage from the fire.
