I think it’s implied Kamek stimulates the thingy that makes Bowser big with their magic, I mean, every single time Kamek made Bowser big it was under dire situations. Either that or the Evoglobins do it themselves
NOTE: In the battle against Super Peach's Castle, you WILL get hurt, but this damage is 99% Scripted and Unavoidable. The 2 cases are with the beam attack and when Super Peach's Castle has 10% HP left, as in here you have to be patient or else you'll get damaged and eventually be sucked up by the black hole.
I wouldn’t say a shame. My mic has been glitching out, either half working or not working at all. It was almost impossible for me to beat the Fawful Express!
This game was still my most favorite mario rpg but the reason dream team is my most favorite-er is because it has more advancements. For ex. U could now save anywhere u want. And when u die, u can just start over without using a retry clock. And when u run, it won't cost coins anymore
I love how this game highlights how bowser does have all this OP potential, but its just all locked away and he can't ever do it himself (withouth cheating). He always needs a star or anything else to become so fricking huge
I feel more like he is just an idiot. He gets tricked way too easy as shown on the beginning or getting tricked to overeat so much. I believe that is what stops him from conquering Mushroom Kingdom

This is hands down the best Mario&Luigi RPG. The remaster of this on the 3DS is great, though I’d probably prefer this over the remake since it’s more challenging.

Tactically speaking, wouldn’t it be smarter to keep the hill monster alive and burning as long as possible in the Fawful Express fight? The train burns and you don’t lose any time for the fight.
Before anyone makes the inevitable comment about how he took damage during the Peach’s Castle fight, you’re actually supposed to take damage in that fight. All other instances where damage is avoidable remains the same as the other fights.
When I think about it now, the whole ordeal with the Fawful Express could have been avoided if Bowser just bent over and punched it, or just stepped on it.
I just my ds version and have no freaking clue where it went. Despite there being a 3ds version, I think I have to play this version because of the nostalgia

Even though you took unavoidable damage from Super Peach’s Castle’s 2 attacks, you still received the No Damage Run cause you took the minimum damage possible!
Anybody who says that people complaining about prosafia taking damage but it's really an unavoidable attack during the fight against peaches taken over castle is a cool guy ;-)
This was my favourite game to play when I was a little kid. I’m 17 years old now and I loved this to death. I played this on the old Red DS and I enjoyed ever second of it. I eventually got the 3DS and a few months ago I gave my 3DS and this game to my little sister (the original version not the newer one) She’s 10 years younger than me I hope she loves this game as much as I did
be honest, this was possibly some of the most epic shit we saw back in the day when were were kids. Especially the beginning of the music when that ,"Turn DS sideways" prompt came up.

Aestheticlly speaking, the original will forever have my heart with the charming pixel animations, but the remake does add a finisher attack and a cutscene of Bowser walloping the boss afterwards. I think the og is better but I can absolutely respect what the remake went for. I miss you AlphaDream 😔

Aestheticlly speaking, the original will forever have my heart with the charming pixel animations, but the remake does add a finisher attack and a cutscene of Bowser walloping the boss afterwards.
I think the og is better but I can absolutely respect what the remake went for. I miss you AlphaDream 😔

Giant Luigi got the better music, Bowser got the cooler looking bosses, but they’re both pretty equal in gameplay quality in my opinion.
I had the bright idea of fighting the Fawful Express with the Thomas the Tank Engine theme playing in the background at a reasonable volume

It doesn't look like we're getting one because we saw Bowser defeat the Castle in the trailer by using his regular attack.
He does have a special attack in the remake which is cool
