I don’t know. To me the battle and the song seem so slow. I remember the original being hard and fast paced. This looks really slow for some reason, so it looks easy. Also I like what they were going for with the slowed down Cackletta theme, but it sounds to slow to be threatening.
One of few fights in the remake to give me any trouble, but I put that moreso on the cut frame rate to make timing harder- especially the goomba punch sequence.
I've played the remake all the way through twice and I never died both times, but THIS battle was the hardest of them, and it was because it took forever to get the timing down to a punch a Goomba at Fawful. I kid you not, both times I played, I was one wrong move away from dying because I lost all my defense at that point. I should also mention I never got fury mode both times with Fawful.
I rather the old one, yes this has better graphics but the old one is faster, better this version of the game seems SOOOO slow literally and its dissapointing where they took fawfuls swing out 3:09 he used to connect to a block in the sky and swing at you but now he fly rams you

With challange medal it makes it harder both the user recieved and dealth so much damage So if bowser does excellent it does a lot of a damage but dark fawful lands a strong hit to bowser it does a lot of damage Dark Fawful attacks and speed will be raise up when challange medal activated but same time bowser speed and attack also raise too Challange medal does make the game harder and easier for those willing to do so much damage It will raise fawful health is 2,380 so it raise by much higher which makes his health 2,700 hp For vacuum with challange medal raise all stats by 1.5x his health will be the same as his original counter part by 1,800 hp if you combined both of those healths that been split in half It makes this boss fight near bowser x level of difficult but since it on level 31 well i think it raise to level 33 when challange medal activated Sure the medal made it easier to deal a lot of damage to the enemy but same time the enemy also deals a lot of damage to them as well Also when vacuum health is down to half his normal attacks become much stronger and his special attack is even more powerful then his normal attacks Also edit update: dark fawful with rage mode health taken down by 1,200hp his attacks are raised by a lot Ethier if bower level 40 dark fawful will do significant amough of damage to bowser and even lower his stat and even increase the damage by 15+ extra High or low stats at level 40 dark fawful attacks does a significant amount of damage even underlevel this attack does even far more damage
I love that they added a new theme but, and I suppose that's nostalgia speaking, there's something so magical about the build up to the fight, Fawful's speech and then that iconic "SHOWTIME!" from Bowser followed by the upbeat and high energy boss theme. Why do enemies & bosses in the Mario & Luigi games just sit there & let you hit them instead of dodging & counterattacking like you do to them, it isn’t fair & would make for a more interesting fight
You realise most enemies that are bosses have CONSIDERABLY more HP than you? Iirc Dark Fawful has around 1000 at that point and you have 300. Also, why don't you try playing a turn based RPG strategy game where you literally CAN'T STRATEGISE.
@@SonicMaster519 who said they‘re dodging & counterattacking EVERYTHING? Maybe have it where when an attack is thrown at them they have a 50% chance to dodge it & a 25% chance to counterattack. THAT would be an interesting turn-based boss battle.

For me, it was the ONLY fight I found highly difficult. Crazy how big of a jump in difficulty it is.
@@jeremiahgreen5632 no- the Bowser X fight is still as difficult as always. But yeah.
@@Mojo1356 Oh yeah, forgot about that.

@@DarkFawful Yo I’m making a rip-off of you in my game, your gonna die again!
My favorite part un this video is when bowser crouches from fawful,s rocket attack
New bowser?!!!?? you may the never do the this to the innocent prankster fawful
Lore of Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story 3DS - Dark Fawful Boss momentum 100
I rather the old one, yes this has better graphics but the old one is faster, better this version of the game seems SOOOO slow literally and its dissapointing where they took fawfuls swing out 3:09 he used to connect to a block in the sky and swing at you but now he fly rams you
OPERATION BLACKOUT! That was the main attack I remember when every time he did it he would laugh every time he swung at you
Nah his 3DS is slow. The game is fine
OPERATION BLACKOUT! The game isn’t slow
And it would of been nice if it was running at 60fps

“I AM HAVING MUCH FURY!!!”
i just finished the game on ds , haven’t played the remake but wow i didn’t know they reskinned the entire area in the remake, might have to pick it up
With challange medal it makes it harder both the user recieved and dealth so much damage
So if bowser does excellent it does a lot of a damage but dark fawful lands a strong hit to bowser it does a lot of damage
Dark Fawful attacks and speed will be raise up when challange medal activated but same time bowser speed and attack also raise too
Challange medal does make the game harder and easier for those willing to do so much damage
It will raise fawful health is 2,380 so it raise by much higher which makes his health 2,700 hp
For vacuum with challange medal raise all stats by 1.5x his health will be the same as his original counter part by 1,800 hp if you combined both of those healths that been split in half
It makes this boss fight near bowser x level of difficult but since it on level 31 well i think it raise to level 33 when challange medal activated
Sure the medal made it easier to deal a lot of damage to the enemy but same time the enemy also deals a lot of damage to them as well
Also when vacuum health is down to half his normal attacks become much stronger and his special attack is even more powerful then his normal attacks
Also edit update: dark fawful with rage mode health taken down by 1,200hp his attacks are raised by a lot
Ethier if bower level 40 dark fawful will do significant amough of damage to bowser and even lower his stat and even increase the damage by 15+ extra
High or low stats at level 40 dark fawful attacks does a significant amount of damage even underlevel this attack does even far more damage
Always wanted to get the remake but nothing beats the original sprite artstyle
The DARKNESS IS STUPID GO KING BOWSER
They changed the second to last battle theme in super star saga and this game to the cackletta theme (at some extent)
I love that they added a new theme but, and I suppose that's nostalgia speaking, there's something so magical about the build up to the fight, Fawful's speech and then that iconic "SHOWTIME!" from Bowser followed by the upbeat and high energy boss theme. Maybe I would've preferred a new theme that's faster and more high energy, but that's my case
Cackletta and Fawful battle from Superstar Saga.
I tried smashing the vacuum machine with Shy Guy Squad
His smile is all terrifying

This was also a long awaited rematch from Superstar Saga on the bowser cruiser.
It is me! i am overjoyed!!!!
How much HP does Fawful have?
i have of the 1736 health stats
2280 in the remake.
@@MarioFan587YTall of the bosses from Superstar Saga have more health in its remake as well. For example Bowletta has 500 health in the GBA version and roughly 1,200 in the remake
battle of the fury
Bowser has fury!
@TY GUY 5 It is that way because the creators do the respecting of me more than of the Cackletta
Dark Fawful's Battle Theme reminds me both of Cackletta and Shadow Queen Peach's battle themes combined...
why did bro keep using the punch on headgear fawful????
bro's like "that didn't work, but if i try hard enough, maybe it will"
So he can get the headgear to go away so bowser can inhale it, if he attacked fawful would’ve just healed
16:47
Yeah, I tried punching and breathing fire on Fawful. Didn't work.
You have to knock his vacuum helmet off and then inhale it so that Mario and Luigi can kill it, then you can punch the hell out of Fawful
My strategy throughout the game was just to pour 90% of the bonus stats into attack, so this boss (for me) went down in three broggy bonkers
Who here knew you could target fawful helmet with goomba storm?
I liked the remake of this fight better than the original
fury bowser is goated
I HAVE FURY AT THE VIDEO
Was this your first time playing the game so you didn't know what to do?
How many turns does Bowser need to go through before he goes into Fury mode?
This boss theme is so... boring. It's cool they got a new boss theme for this boss but i think the normal boss theme would've been fine just like in the original. Still I think its nice the game actually acknowledges Superstar Saga by using this new theme. One thing I dislike about BiS is that none of the characters ever seem to recognize Fawful at all. Not even Fawful himself mentions or references the events of the first game. Almost as if it never happened
In the french dub he talks about Cackletta before dying but yeah that's kinda all
What’s this song called?
We all thought that we gonna fight Awful with Mario and Luigi instead Bowser doing it😅
The 30fps battle makes
Aint no way this shi 5 years old wtf
alpha dream could have survived if this was on switch... The remake was good its just... it was still on a console that already had the original game, and for cheaper
At that point, there’s nothing you can do. If a boss is dodging and counterattacking everything, it’s a stalemate.
@@SonicMaster519 who said they‘re dodging & counterattacking EVERYTHING? Maybe have it where when an attack is thrown at them they have a 50% chance to dodge it & a 25% chance to counterattack. THAT would be an interesting turn-based boss battle.
@@alexking7262 I feel as though that would make bosses feel lame. You hurl your strongest move at them and it takes up a lot of your BP just for them to dodge it, wasting it all. Even worse when they counterattack it so you just kinda die. This could even result in scenarios in which they dodge every single move ever (I know that's an incredibly small chance, but still).
@@SonicMaster519 im not talking about all bosses doing that, I’m talking about maybe only 1 or 2 as an experiment. Plus that would force players to be careful with some of the attacks they use as you‘d never know what attacks would hit or miss. Also you could have it where they have a 50% chance to dodge her hit until they actually are hit & at that point they will keep on taking the hits until the attack ends.
Fawful has fury!
16:47 Fury ain't free at all 🤣
I don’t remember this fight, how do you trigger it?
I hate this boss fight, its so difficult >:(
Not a fan of the sprite work for bowser. Special attacks also look like they were slowed down a ton in comparison to the original. Everything else is great though
ive been stuck on this for 3 days and diedd almopst 52 times on easy mode and mario and luigi is doing 20 damage to the helmet per round
I had a stroke reading this
you just hrdly hit the mauchine, that it lagged
The music in this game is mostly worse but it's nice dark fawful gets his own theme. Werid he didn't in the original the normal boss theme did not fit his fight at all lmao.
If you listen closely it's actually a remix of Cackletta's battle theme
@@arthursnyder6935 yeah I know pretty cool
