Finally, after 5 almost 6 years without a proper danganronpa killing game, It’s out! I mean, it is still a fan game but it’s still amazing! Props to everyone who worked on this masterpiece!
I love how every character in this dangaronpa has their "assigned" animals. Damon has his snake necktie, Wolfgang with his sheep emblem, Grace with her bunny like visor and Jean with his dragon tattoo. And many more. All of this can perfectly describe their personality and character which this little detail alone sets this fanganronpa their own identity to the rest.
I really hope the official danaronpa creators regonize this masterpiece, definitely one of the best fangames/inspired projects I've ever seen created in my lifetime
I told myself I need to wait and not too attached to any character. And I just failed that since Wolfgang speaks. His vibe, his voices, what a perfect man we have here! And I hope Ulysses lives long enough because his sprites are funny to look at LoL
I feel incredibly bad for Eva, honestly. Being given the title of Ultimate Liar must’ve been hard enough, but since the beginning of the game no one’s believed a word she’s said, even before finding out her talent. That must be frustrating.
That reminds me of the myth of Casandra from Greek mythology, basically Apollo cursed Casandra with the ability to see the future but no one believes her. Here Eva uses her abilities to discover the mysteries but no one believes her, even when no one knew her talent. It seems that here the god Apollo would be the one who gave Eva the title of ultimate liar. Now I wonder how she got that title: if she really lied or if she tells the truth but no one believes her

The best part is that none of them are joke characters, fanservice characters, or even harmful racial steretoypes. This is better than actual danganronpa games where you are actually hoping the annoying joke characters die like Teruteru and Hifumi the incels and Miu the annoying fanservice girl with inconsistent personality

The dialogue is really engaging, the characters are all so lovable, JETT IS MY BELOVED HIMBO, and Toshiko is so much more lovable than I thought she’d be😭😭💕 I genuinely cannot WAIT to play the rest of this game! I really hope you all will get to work on this as much as possible!! Okay, spoiler section coming up⬇️ I never knew her for long, she wasn’t even a proper character, but the fact that she seemed to have a kind disposition along with her talent as an Ultimate Teacher’s Aid, makes me feel really sad that Cara was killed. She seemed like she’d have been the Chiaki of her class, or maybe at least someone very endearing. So we’ll never get to meet her…

OH MY GOD, THE ATMOSPHERE HERE IS SO SURREAL AND CREEPY, It’s completely unlike the atmosphere of a spike-chunsoft killing game, it feels horrifying in some parts. It’s very good.

One of the things that differentiated eden's garden from the canon danganronpa and other fangans is the protagonist. Usually the protagonist in danganronpa are pretty insecure with their talent our something about themeselves like makoto naegi. But for damon maitsu, he's pretty different which is quite refreshing. Although damon was a bit more groachy (just less groachy than byakuya) he's also quite confident with his talent. He holds his title dearly and in the trailer he sounds pretty proud that he wont just be around normal people. So yeah, that's one of the things i noticed. Great job on the hard work on this fangan, is so looks good and promising. Edit: Dang 11 likes thx!
I like the direction they are taking the protag in, usually the protags are shy but friendly but Damon is straight up Anti-social it makes me wonder about why he is the way he is, it's intriguing

Tbh, I think Damon might be insecure too. Sure he comes across as arrogant but looking at some of his inner thoughts, it seems like he's not as confident as he makes himself out to be. Kinda similar to Nagito in some way lol

Man, waiting for this after hearing its development about 4 years ago, Its super nice to see how the team was able to make something so great, even if its 'fanmade.' This is, fully and truly, its own game.
Oh, I already loved Eva's design, but now I'm loving her voice and her character right away too... I like the detail that she phrases a lot of her dialogue as questions or directives. It gets me thinking about some thoughts I had about the possibilities for her character arc in regards to her Ultimate talent...
I've been wondering what the Prologue would have in store ever since the new trailer came out and I gotta say the people who worked on this did not disappoint. This is shaping up to be a promising game. I haven't seen a fangame this good since the Danganronpa Another games. Please keep up the good work!!!
I'm probably 3 quarters done with the prologue by now and I have to say this exceeded my expectations as this feels less like a fangame and more like a real entry. There might be some performance and quality issues here and there but overall it is very solid. I am excited to see how the story will move forward. Keep up the good work.👍
I spent a good chunk of this video trying to predict who will die based off of the classic Dangan formula. I can already see some tidbits of information that will likely come up in future trials. All that being said, I am so glad that this game has a protagonist without a massive inferiority complex. It got so old in the original games. I also liked a few other things - the tense soundtracks felt rather cinematic, the wrist watches and a character in a full body suit obscuring their face reminded me of Zero Escape, and the acknowledgement that yes we are indeed in the 21st century and people have phones + people might pay big bucks for crazy stuff (although all the talk about reality tv stings after playing V3). Some stuff definitely got an eyebrow raise (the ultimate matchmaker being 14, the ultimate marksman apparently doesn't use moving targets, no ultimate ??? or unconventional character design person), but one thing I appreciated is that no one's personality is *too* wacky and cartoonish. Some of Danganronpa's more..quirky characters are endearing in their own way (Gundam, most of V3's cast), but can easily start to become grating after several hours of their antics. This cast has some colorful personalities (racing guy, grace madison), but they're not *too* over the top in my opinion - although grace is on her way there.
like everyone else has said this was really good so far! i enjoyed it more than i expected (gotta keep expectations low sometimes lol) thank you so much for gifting us this fangame congrats to everyone in the team! praise aside i noticed mark and jett stick with each other most of the time (heck maybe all the time even in the promotional material) in the prologue can't wait to see more of their dynamic together!

I just finished playing chapter 0, and when I tell you the game is really well made. It gave me a nostalgic feeling seeing the ending of the chapter. Congrats to the whole team for doing an amazing job, I can't wait for the rest of the chapters. Please take your time on releasing the chapters, we'll be waiting! :D
Okay but this is truly incredible work, absolutely unbelievable quality for a project like this. I know it’s a fanproject, and even so it feels absolutely insane that this game is free to play considering how much effort has clearly been put into it
i like how when you see characters outside of a scene they don't stand in that super awkward looking sprite like in the original games, they look very normal here. also each of them having little animals motifs is very cute, and the fact that damons is a snake bcus garden of eden. (when i first saw diana's little chameleon bracelet i was like "is this gonna be foreshadowing that she's the mastermind hiding in disguise" but she is just a cosmetologist LOL)

This has been an amazing chapter 0. Picking up on all the little nods refs and hijinks has been awesome (28 stab wounds, awesome tv show, step ladder) this is perfect an excellent love letter to the series and everything its done
Already in know that Jett Dawson is my favorite character. Not only is he a fun character to voice, but he's fun loving, goofy and actually came up with a good idea to what's going on in this situation. If he ends up dying, I will probably follow suit due to heartbreak.

I was kinda hesitant to watch a fan-made, but this is truly wonderful. Well written, good details on background, entertaining, good characters. Seriously surpasses all expectations so far, could perfectly be one of the "lost games" between 3 and v3.

It's intresting how Cassidy likely subconciously recognizes her situation and only does cosmetic stuff, while ignoring things that could actually change the world (although, also probably forcing her to work), thus, only supporting the system she claims to dislike.
So far , my favorite is Wolfgang💗 , his character design , personality , and his voice are perfection! I can't wait for the development more , you guys did an amazing project , masterpiece !

Ngl i rlly loved Project Edens Graden after seeing the trailer and soundtracks but when I saw the prolougue release I loved it even more. Everything here is amazing like srsly! Huge round of applause to the people who helped out making this game and ofc the creator/director! I also rlly like the fact that the Protagonist(Damon) was kinda "cold" to the others instead of trying to be buddy-buddy towards them right away it's realistic and that is one of the things that I rlly like abt this😭💖

Took time to stream even just a bit of this yesterday, and WOW. You guys knocked it out of the park. Like I had my VERY small issues, but they were literally just nitpicks. As someone who greatly missed the traditional Danganronpa gameplay while finally playing UDG, this scratched that itch. And I'm not even done yet! I wish the best of luck with continuing forward on this project. It both feels like Danganronpa and doesn't (I think the music is a part of that too, it's a different vibe).

OH MY GOD, THE ATMOSPHERE HERE IS SO SURREAL AND CREEPY, It’s completely unlike the atmosphere of a spike-chunsoft killing game, it feels horrifying in some parts. It’s very good.

One of the things that differentiated eden's garden from the canon danganronpa and other fangans is the protagonist. Usually the protagonist in danganronpa are pretty insecure with their talent our something about themeselves like makoto naegi. But for damon maitsu, he's pretty different which is quite refreshing. Although damon was a bit more groachy (just less groachy than byakuya) he's also quite confident with his talent. He holds his title dearly and in the trailer he sounds pretty proud that he wont just be around normal people. So yeah, that's one of the things i noticed. Great job on the hard work on this fangan, is so looks good and promising.

I like the direction they are taking the protag in, usually the protags are shy but friendly but Damon is straight up Anti-social it makes me wonder about why he is the way he is, it's intriguing

Oh, I already loved Eva's design, but now I'm loving her voice and her character right away too... I like the detail that she phrases a lot of her dialogue as questions or directives. It gets me thinking about some thoughts I had about the possibilities for her character arc in regards to her Ultimate talent...

I'm probably 3 quarters done with the prologue by now and I have to say this exceeded my expectations as this feels less like a fangame and more like a real entry. There might be some performance and quality issues here and there but overall it is very solid. I am excited to see how the story will move forward. Keep up the good work.👍

I spent a good chunk of this video trying to predict who will die based off of the classic Dangan formula. I can already see some tidbits of information that will likely come up in future trials. All that being said, I am so glad that this game has a protagonist without a massive inferiority complex. It got so old in the original games. I also liked a few other things - the tense soundtracks felt rather cinematic, the wrist watches and a character in a full body suit obscuring their face reminded me of Zero Escape, and the acknowledgement that yes we are indeed in the 21st century and people have phones + people might pay big bucks for crazy stuff (although all the talk about reality tv stings after playing V3). Some stuff definitely got an eyebrow raise (the ultimate matchmaker being 14, the ultimate marksman apparently doesn't use moving targets, no ultimate ??? or unconventional character design person), but one thing I appreciated is that no one's personality is *too* wacky and cartoonish. Some of Danganronpa's more..quirky characters are endearing in their own way (Gundam, most of V3's cast), but can easily start to become grating after several hours of their antics. This cast has some colorful personalities (racing guy, grace madison), but they're not *too* over the top in my opinion - although grace is on her way there.
like everyone else has said this was really good so far! i enjoyed it more than i expected (gotta keep expectations low sometimes lol) thank you so much for gifting us this fangame congrats to everyone in the team! praise aside i noticed mark and jett stick with each other most of the time (heck maybe all the time even in the promotional material) in the prologue can't wait to see more of their dynamic together!

I just finished playing chapter 0, and when I tell you the game is really well made. It gave me a nostalgic feeling seeing the ending of the chapter. Okay but this is truly incredible work, absolutely unbelievable quality for a project like this. I know it’s a fanproject, and even so it feels absolutely insane that this game is free to play considering how much effort has clearly been put into it

i like how when you see characters outside of a scene they don't stand in that super awkward looking sprite like in the original games, they look very normal here. also each of them having little animals motifs is very cute, and the fact that damons is a snake bcus garden of eden. (when i first saw diana's little chameleon bracelet i was like "is this gonna be foreshadowing that she's the mastermind hiding in disguise" but she is just a cosmetologist LOL)

This has been an amazing chapter 0. Picking up on all the little nods refs and hijinks has been awesome (28 stab wounds, awesome tv show, step ladder) this is perfect an excellent love letter to the series and everything its done

I was kinda hesitant to watch a fan-made, but this is truly wonderful. Well written, good details on background, entertaining, good characters. Seriously surpasses all expectations so far, could perfectly be one of the "lost games" between 3 and v3.

It's intresting how Cassidy likely subconciously recognizes her situation and only does cosmetic stuff, while ignoring things that could actually change the world (although, also probably forcing her to work), thus, only supporting the system she claims to dislike.

Ngl i rlly loved Project Edens Graden after seeing the trailer and soundtracks but when I saw the prolougue release I loved it even more. Everything here is amazing like srsly! Huge round of applause to the people who helped out making this game and ofc the creator/director! I also rlly like the fact that the Protagonist(Damon) was kinda "cold" to the others instead of trying to be buddy-buddy towards them right away it's realistic and that is one of the things that I rlly like abt this😭💖

And the reference to Battle Royale at the beginning (I'm not sure if it was intentional or not, but I think that it would be pretty sweet if it was considering the influence it had on the main Danganronpa games) just amazing! I've always wanted and waited for a amazing fangame with good characters, a good storyline and much more, and this is exactly what my expectations were for a fangame! Took time to stream even just a bit of this yesterday, and WOW. You guys knocked it out of the park. Like I had my VERY small issues, but they were literally just nitpicks. As someone who greatly missed the traditional Danganronpa gameplay while finally playing UDG, this scratched that itch. And I'm not even done yet! I wish the best of luck with continuing forward on this project. It both feels like Danganronpa and doesn't (I think the music is a part of that too, it's a different vibe).

The artstyle, the story, the characters, everything is just perfect. My 1 year of waiting for this game was definitely worth it. Can't wait for Chapter 1, keep up the good work!
