I think this Christmas episode is very underrated because it's bad on purpose but it's also very funny. The Puppet episode is definitely the worst episode of Glee.
Oh an iconic show with top notch out of context moments… though pieced together even if you do know the context it’s still wild 🤣 there’s some WILD moments.
That Jonathan Groff. He played the King in Hamilton. One of the Dad's in the movie Knock at the Cabin, and he's also the voice of Kristoff in both Frozen movies.
Proud Gleek here, no shame lol. However, after the Quarterback which is sooo beautiful 💔 the best episode I think woulda been the first Britney episode
I love Previously Unaired Christmas simply because of how awful it is lmao. Watching other people watch this episode is one of my favourite things idc. 😂😂😂😂
Cory says he's tone deaf but he actually has a decent voice! Get into some vocal lessons!! (Also thank you guys are all the laughs, I really needed a laugh today, and the fact that it's Glee is just a bonus I was so OBSESSED in middle school and high school).
You might remember the guy singing the Queen song in the fact that you also know his name, Jonathan Groff because he’s in Broadway. He also plays Christoph and frozen. Also, he’s in Hamilton and many other.
The one singing Bohemian Rhapsody you recognized was Jonathan Groff. He most recently was in Knock at the Cabin. He's also been in Mindhunter, Frozen, American Sniper, Hamilton, etc. He's been in a lot acting-wise but he does a lot of Broadway Performances too.
The actor you recognized Nick is Johnathan Groff. Famous broadway actor. Voice of Kristoff in Frozen. Holden Ford in Mindhunter and King George in Hamilton to name a few.
I was nervous about this- as a true Gleek, your other vid on them was not a fave. Journey to Regionals does benefit from being the culmination of the first season, which the consensus has as the best season. Generally, the competition episodes in the first three seasons are a special breed (this, "Sectionals", "Special Education", "Original Song", "New York", "Hold On to Sixteen", "On My Way", and "Nationals"). I prefer OS and Nationals to this one, but it's not hard to see why this one is so popular with fans. You might have recognized the actress playing Shelby as Idina Menzel (who you saw in "Enchanted" if nothing else- she also originated Elphaba in the Broadway production of "Wicked"); funnily enough, Nick looks a bit like a mix of Jon Groff and John Gallagher Jr- both of whom were Rachel/Lea Michele's costars in Spring Awakening- Jon Groff is the one who introduced her to Glee's showrunner Ryan Murphy and honestly is a huge part of Glee's origin story even before joining the cast as Jesse. As to PUC... Glee's season 2, 3, and 4 Christmas episodes allowed the show to do special tie-in Christmas albums that performed well financially. But Glee's season 4 had a weird timeline workout, so that when the show was picking up in S5, it was still technically spring in the narrative-timeline... but Cory Monteith had died over the real-life summer break. The network or some executive wanted a Christmas episode out of the show, but they couldn't fit it into their narrative timeline especially after they had just written Finn out and the characters were in mourning, so the writers came up with the idea to write an episode that they pretended had been written before but forbidden to air because of its offensiveness (I'm not sure if you saw the clip, of Jane Lynch introducing this episode that originally aired before it, on whatever service you watched this on). So, this was written to "coexist" alongside the S4 Christmas episode, which while flawed was certainly better than this. It has some classic Glee zingers and some decent performances (and I revel in the intentional blasphemy in the "Love Child" performance), but it truly is awful for the most part. Weirdly enough, had you watched "The Quarterback" (5x03), you would have been watching two season 5 episodes- this aired only a couple months after that; in fact, the episodes most widely derided tend to be 5x05, (5x06 doesn't get mentioned a lot but isn't considered much better), 5x07, 5x08, and this one. Another oddity: the Sound of Music, Live, with Carrie Underwood was airing on NBC at the same time this episode premiered.
Glee had so much drama surrounding it not just in the show 😂 for instance, the guy with the Mohawk who was making out with the cheerleader killed himself in real life cus he got caught with pics of kids 😬 3 of the students from that show are dead now like this show was cursed. I was all about it tho and some of the glee versions of songs go harder than the original at times imo 🤗
I find Journey to Regionals boring. IDK why is rated top second. It doesn{t work much wo context and it is kind of cliche. I think Duets 2x04 is a much better episode for a first time viewer.
On Christmas is actually celebrating Jesus’s birthday cause he was born on Christmas Day. Easter is to celebrate the three days Jesus died on the cords for our sins and rose again and came back to life on the third day

Easter is when Jesus was resurrected
“This feels like a fever dream” ah yes, the authentic Glee experience
jonathan groff singing bohemian rhapsody over quinn going into labor and giving birth is honestly peak television
I think this Christmas episode is very underrated because it's bad on purpose but it's also very funny. The Puppet episode is definitely the worst episode of Glee.
But the full glee cast version what does the fox say hits lol
however, the puppet episode is also bad on purpose and extremely funny. the worst is probably lights out because IT IS BORINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG
@@arianafranco2199 i love this song lol
"He looks familiar."
"Familiar how?"
"Like, I recognize him"
"In what way"
"His face."
Top notch Nick and Cory conversation
The best episode is the BRITNEY episode
100%
The Madonna episode was pretty classic too
The worst episode of Glee was the puppet episode. They went off the rails after the original class graduated.
"well the're taking a fat sh!t on their performance right now mostly because it's Jonathan Groff" Most accurate thing they said.
"Familiar how?" "Like I recognize him.." 😂😂😂😂
I love glee man…
I love glee men too
who’s glee man
Jonathan groff 🫦
This whole show was a fucking fever dream but those last three seasons were truly out of pocket.
you guys will never match my gleek ( also very greatful you guys skipped the quaterback episode because I would have cried and I can't do that today)
Oh an iconic show with top notch out of context moments… though pieced together even if you do know the context it’s still wild 🤣 there’s some WILD moments.
The fart joke was crazy WERK!!!! 😂😅
who you recognize is Jonathan Groff, a Tony award winning actor.... also he originated King George in Hamilton
listen, the first journey medley is great, wonderful, but NOTHING beats paradise by the dashboard light, it's fucking phenomenal lol
Nick: I don't trust that guy.
Good call. The actor who played Puck was busted for possessing child cornography and killed himself.
They should totally do Insatiable
I sang the whole of bohemian rhapsody with Cory 🤌🏼
I forgot Idina (Elsa) and Jonathan (Kristoff) were in the same episode of Glee. What a throwback
I love Previously Unaired Christmas simply because of how awful it is lmao. Watching other people watch this episode is one of my favourite things idc. 😂😂😂😂

EXACTLY
Just sat down to eat, wondering what to watch 😊 thanks guys
Glee is literally so out of pocket and it just makes it so funny😂
To be fair, the Virgin Mary thing was mad disrespectful.
You might remember the guy singing the Queen song in the fact that you also know his name, Jonathan Groff because he’s in Broadway. He also plays Christoph and frozen. Also, he’s in Hamilton and many other.
the terrible episode DID give us the line about special needs, though, so there's that 🤣
1 MINUTE AGO. NEVER BEEN EARLIER FOR ANYTHING BEFORE.
This show was honestly the best and worst thing to touch television 😹
The fart 🤣🤣🤣

The Christmas episode was bad on purpose. It also shouldn’t have been considered.

No there is no proof in the bible that jesus was born on Christmas day look it up
Honestly after s04 it's not even worth considering them in the rating
