This movie has insane rewatchability. There are so many little things like Richard casually handing Marta an empty plate as if she's a servant (when they called her over for their political debate but never let her speak), or each of them saying a different country that Marta is supposedly from, or Walt saying that he noted the time "midnight" when it was Marta who specifically called attention to the time. Or when Benoit and Marta first meet Benoit looks down on her shoe and presumably sees the drop of blood. Just so many little details!

Okay, this genuinely might be my favorite movie/TV reaction I’ve ever watched! The way you actually paid such close attention to detail and narrowed in on the true suspect was so fun to watch; I’m so used to reactors missing important details because they’re too busy having big reactions, that it was wonderful seeing this! Also this points to how well-crafted this mystery is, that you were able to connect some dots to logical conclusions while still being surprised and delighted by different twists! They don’t make em like this anymore 😔🙏🏾💖
edit: ps I love your Aran icon! my boy is so underrated by haikyuu fans, it drives me nuts!

You are legit one of my fave react channels. It's so funny whenever the background goes to the cards with the red string.
As for James Bond films you got 3 options:
You can start with Daniel Craig's Casino Royale, Pierce Brosnan's Goldeneye, or go all the way back to Dr No. with Sean Connery.
I vote for Casino Royale and the rest of Craig's run, and then go backwards- it'll be an interesting way to view the series. Quality varies, so if there's a must watch: casino royale and Skyfall.
And if I may recommend: get suited up for it and have a martini on the side (or water in a fancy glass. Stay hydrated)

This movie is so good and my favorite part is the part of the film with Benoit Blanc's coin flip:
You're right in your reaction, this was a "Who'd-done-it" film, until Marta's questioning moment, Blanc flips the coin and the movie genre changes, now the viewer knows who the culprit is and is watching them try to avoid getting caught, it also alerts the viewer when they come back to the coin landing back in Blanc's hand that the flashback is over. There's so much subversive storytelling in that one moment and I love all of it lol.

NOT YOU WATCHING MY FAVORITE MOVIE KNIVES OUT!!!! The main thing that pissed me off about this film, especially as a med student, is the fact that if she really gave 100mg Morphine, she should know ON SITE that he would be presenting with morphine overdose symptoms almost immediately after administration. If you LOVE this film, then it’s mandatory for you to watch The Menu, Ready or Not, and Knives Out 2!!! RIP Christopher Plummer ❤❤❤

The funniest part about Marta's Go strategy is that it's actually a perfectly valid one - there's a YT video where a Go...well, he wouldn't call himself an expert, but it's more that he knows his subject very well, even though he's no major player - where a Go "expert" basically tells about the strategy, which is an actual one, and probably one that Go was designed to accommodate.

Another great comedic whodunit is Clue the Movie, based on the boardgame Clue/Cluedo. But the best part(s) of the movie is the comedic dialogue and physical action/reaction. then there is the sequel to this movie, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Movie, and the forthcoming second sequel, Wake Up Dead Man.

They constantly say that Marta is from a different Latin American country: Ecuador, Paraguay, Uruguay, Brazil, etc. They don't care or know about the difference between any of those countries. It's just another way of showing they're all ignorant about race, because they're so full of their rich white privilege.
Phase 1: You think this is a whodunit, and you're trying to figure out who the killer was.
Phase 2: You find out that Marta was accidentally responsible, and now you're hoping she can hide it.
Phase 3: You find out she wasn't, and deserves the entire inheritance after all.
By the way, Harlan's "I have to save you from people finding out" thing wasn't just about saving her mother from the immigration authorites, it was also about making sure his will was recognized. He needed Marta to be seen as innocent, so that his will could go through and his other family members would be cut off. He's still a sweetheart here, but he also had another motive in saving her.

Oh yes, if you overdose on morphine, or other strong narcotics like oxycodone, dilaudid, hydrocodone, etc., through injection, it will only take a few moments to overdose. It's why they they prescribe naloxone to people who are on those medications for extended periods of time, in case of an accidental overdose.

@@ScaredyKats Well, when I think of Poirot I see Finney, Ustinov and Suchet. I see a quirky eccentric; peacocky at a high rate, yes, but not a wannabe action hero.
With Kenneth Branagh you can clearly see that not his character but he is the peacock.
Don't get me wrong, Branagh has always been great at adapting Shakespeare plays for the big screen but in my opinion you can't handle Agatha Christie like Shakespeare.
He lacks the instincts to do her books justice and to remove his own vanity from the equation.
Also he changed the plots for selfish reasons, which I do not appreciate.
And why on earth couldn't he shoot on original locations for the budget he had at his disposal and instead switched to cheap-looking CGI?

Pay attention to the ball and the dog throughout the movie.
    Spoiler:
Richard throws it outside when he finds the "blank" letter. The dog picks it up and Linda puts it back, which leads her to finding the letter at the end.

IF YOU START WATCHING JAMES BOND FILMS. Just start with the old ones. They are some of the most comfortable films ever. So entertaining, even when outdated. Don't start with the modern ones, you'll get there.
Also Daniel Craig, in this film, speaks with what we Americans call a "southern drawl", and I have to say he is captivating in this.

Like you..Daniel Craig's cajun accent was not only crazily adorable..it quite threw me for a loop when he first started speaking..smh hahaha...
Yes a stacked cast to be sure..the beauty is this isn't a one and done...I know there is 2nd..Glass Onion.. and I'm struggling to be sure if there's 3 films for his character Benoit Blanc..or perhaps I'm just thinking of the third..Wake Up Dead Man to be released in 2025...however I feel to date this is the best of the franchise..yet it could be because the shock of Daniel being a Louisiana southerner was the last character we were expecting..French yes with his name but not Cajun..lol...
Please please finish the franchise..the existing film(s) and the next release...great reaction !...

I think Meg didn’t wanna call Marta because she cares about her, the family made her do it. That’s probably why she ended the call mid conversation, after Marta said she’s gonna take care of her that’s all she gotta know (like paying for he school tuition or smth), she didn’t need Marta to give everything back to the family, that was what her family wanted her to say.

🏴‍☠️ Sir please check out Black Sails. I think this serie is right up your alley. Black Sails is an American historical adventure television series set on New Providence Island and written to be a prequel to Robert Louis Stevenson's 1883 novel Treasure Island. Black Sails was ahead off its like and for some reason never hit the mainstream, but it is very much loved amongst it fans. And hits high scores everywhere. Black Sails has real life Pirates, its gritty, heavy and yet nothing is rushed in Black Sails. It crafts an interesting story with well developed characters to carry it. Whether you find yourself siding with Captain Flint, Charles Vane, John Silver, or any other of the key character; they all bring something special to the show. It is truly a much watch!!
