Lovely things to see there, what I've noticed is the exchange of ideas, about 2 years ago we saw road work digging up a pipeline scene first time (maybe the idea is older, but it was then I noticed it first), and now you see it more and more senes like that popping up, nothing wrong with it though, it makes you mind wondering off, an extra dimension to your layout. The automated O layout, a real charm. What I also catch my self on, are models that are so common, but you haven't bought them, and you keep on saying to your self I first going to spend money on this or that because it's more rare, and you never come to buying that model. For me it's the yellow Saxa Salt wagon, seeing the video, it reminded me😊 cheers, Danny
another amazing video as always. Tunnstone Quarry and Lambria Lane Sidings were lovely layouts to drive (spent most of the time driving was on Tunnstone Quarry) I hope you come again next year and it was lovely seeing you both again as always
Rick Rick Rick! You really need to do some research into pioneer diesels and look at the prices of spare parts from manufacturers ........"Lion" was indeed in White livery, the fore runner of class 47, along with "Kestrel" and Falcon" of Hawker Siddeley ( same people who designed the Harrier Jump Jet). That model fitted on a class 47 chassis was an absolute steal! A chassis alone by bachmann for a class 47 can be anything from £50-£80. And irrespective of the model having a resin body, highly collectable - think you've shot yourself in the foot on that one. Lots of photos of "Lion" on line and in books, and in colour........your knowledge of Deltics is impressive, well done, but needs work on class 47s and and "absolute steals." Love you exhibition videos with Pauline, alway a great watch, look forward to it every week - best videos ever - youvebgot a lot of variety up your neck of the woods, down here exhibitions are few and far between, and sadly range from "dire" - and there's enough of those here, to dimple brilliant - I'm a great believer in saying an exhibition can be graded according to the level and volume of traders in attendance, where you can purchase yiur requirements and see whst you're buying there and then, the last one we attended only had 3 traders - it certainly let the exhibition down as no one was selling essential.items, track, points, pins, wire etc, it was all out dated models with no variety, not what I expected, some great layouts, but severe lack.of traders. Keep eem coming Cheers John
Hi John, the problem I have is we film pretty much live and we do forget quite a lot of info and remember when I watch and edit later at home! I was in two minds about that loco as I trying not to spend at the moment. Indeed I only spent a fiver and that was on track! Glad you enjoyed the video and we have more to come from Barnsley as we have a video of all the traders out next week. All the best Rick
@wellchuffedrailways nothing like a bit of make recording to make the mind go blank - happened to me many times, I share your pain - cant wait for the next crediting episode
I think these model maker's are amazing. But why is it the Railway manufacturers make their tracks in Chrome and not in a Rust colour? I've never seen a Chrome railway line in real life.
Thanks for feeding my weekend treats, Sunday lunch while watching you two. Sheer bliss.
You're very welcome Martin

Hi Danny, make sure you put the Saxa wagon on your Christmas list.
@@wellchuffedrailways problem is that I don't know if Santa will be able to move what I have on my list🤣
Awesome layouts there guys, some really skilled work going on, just love the busy industrial scenes
They are fab aren't they digger. Cheers Rick
I liked the British Steel layout, weathering was extremely good. And it brings the layout to reality.
Hi Nick, agrees nowt like a grubby layout!
@ you can’t beat it atmosphere of what……
Hello Rick and Pauline
Some very nice high end layouts there 👍👍👍
Cheers Deano
Thanks both, that saved me a 4 hour train ride...
Happy to help 😀😀

ANother fantastic tour of a show. I loved the steel works layout quite a bit, but lots of goodies to look at, too!
Thanks very much Anthony it was a very enjoyable show.
Again, was awesome to have finally met you and show you some of my collection, hope to see you in 2025.
Hi, you too. We should be there again next year all things being well. All the best Rick and Pauline
I had no idea this happened and I live in Barnsley. The video popped up on the algorithm.
Would love to have gone to visit it. Next time.
Thanks for watching it's a good show. We have more footage next week. All the best Rick
Train on a tray is insane.
Fab isn't it. 😀
as always great video and show was excellent, did you not find anything to buy for yourself rick.
Thanks David, the only thing I bought was £5 worth of track. There was no Wrenn for sale which saved my wallet.
HST Power cars were locos, Not DMU's . The internals were similar to a class 56 (same brake frame). ❤❤
Ah my bad, cheers Malcolm. 😀
Good video! Just wondering if you guys have the Duracell tank wagon in your collection? Saw one the other day for the first time!
Hi, no we haven't and the only time I remember seeing one was at a toy fair and the wagon was broken!

I went to that with my dad
Went to the Retford show yesterday it was very poor, £5 for nothing never again, looked like yours was a lot better.
Barnsley was a good show with a lot of layouts we have never seen before and lots of BR blue to keep Pauline happy. 😂😂

The track is nickel silver but many modellers weather it.
Boring again, all about electrics and diesel 🤬🤬🤬🤬
Lol I hope you're looking forward to our best British steam loco special. 😂😂
@ not really
