I’m not sure what it is about you that draws me in any time I view one of your videos. I’m captivated by you. Whether it’s your tone of voice, how you speak, the way you look. Everything about you seems to pull me in. I’m sure that’s the case for most of your viewers. I feel like you could chose to speak about anything, and I’d have no choice but to sit here and listen. Okay there is something I want to tell you. I have a disease called hyperacusis, which means that everyday sounds really hurt my ears, for example, sometimes even the clicking of a pen feels like sticking a fork in my ear. I also have tinnitus, aka ringing in the ears, which is the result of meniere's disease. Meniere's disease is an condition that causes episodes of violent vertigo, hearing loss and worsening hyperacusis and tinnitus. Frustrating part is that usually when someone gets Meniere's, they are already older then 45. I am Fucking 17 years old, really, really young for someone with Meniere's. Sadly, there is no cure and treatment isn't always effective. Long story short: I didn't think that I would ever be able to really enjoy sounds, let alone be relaxed by sounds. Usually I find asmr annoyingly loud, or there are too many impuls-sounds. I found your channel a week ago, and I've used your videos every night since. This is the first time since a year that I've had a good night's sleep. I guess you could say you've done a hell of a good job making asmr content. Thank you so much. Please keep doing this. (Oh my gosh I didn't mean to write a novel in the comments. Sorry!)

Phoenician you're so cool. I love how unique your ideas are and you have very unique mannerisms with your speaking. As someone who experiences synesthesia, your voice is such a pretty dark foresty green and it's a very pleasent sound to listen to going to sleep ^_^
I've also got synesthesia, but I'm afraid we may have to fight to the death. Clearly, his voice is a reddish brown when speaking softly and fades to seal grey when whispering, and feels like fur on the back of one's neck. (Brains are so awesomely weird!)

I just discovered this channel and I absolutely love it. The topics in many of your videos, your voice, your vocabulary, everything really. While exploring some of your videos I've found that you make things sound so interesting I sometimes become so wrapped up in it all that I can't fall asleep. Even if I can't sleep it's so nice to just listen to someone talk about subjects that get me thinking. I've been sleeping all day simply because I'm at a low point with my depression and absolutely everything seems boring and I just don't want to be awake. So I guess in this particular instance it was good for me to find ASMR videos that got me thinking rather than sleeping.
I loved this - looking forward to more of these trigger vids from you! My two favorites were the pillow (LOVE!) and those tiger striped pipe cleaner things. I was also digging the frog, and your awesome whispers 💜 The new camera is fantastic, and I didn't mind the shifting focus at times - it added to the experience because my own focus was going in and out a bit as I struggled not to fall asleep...lol. Thanks so much for sharing your creative struggle, I think many of us are dealing with the same thing right now. I know how important it is to try and keep up with everything that is happening, but I finally had to make the decision to just turn it all off. I check in periodically, hold myself to a time limit for watching/reading, and mainly try to get my news from print sources so I can filter it a bit more easily. These are very challenging times, and you are right in the thick of it there in D.C. - try to take a break when you can 💜
I have a really horrible cold, and with that comes a really horrible headache. Listening to this helped me to forget that, and removed a lot of stress that comes with the cold. I loved the frog and the pillow, and the "relaaaAAAaaax" made me laugh. Thank you!

Just taking something old and giving it a new life... yours might be drawing or singing or meditation. Who knows. Please don’t give up with life tho. Know you don't necessarily have control over the wind (or maybe you do?) but I enjoyed the whoosh of wind I could hear in the background. Very soothing, like ocean waves a bit. I'm also going through a tough time and this helped me r-e-l-a-x. Thank you Phoenician Sailor. BTW, camera seems to be an excellent addition.

The lens is the cheapest Canon full-frame lens you can buy. the 50mm 1.8 cost me $120 and it focuses silently and gives a beautiful image for portraits. I'm shocked.
