Sincere thanks to Polly Parsons for releasing this gem.
Never get tired of listening to Gram and Emmylou❤❤❤❤
Please release this more widely via CD, MP3, and streaming!
absurdly good
Wow! I've been listening to Gram & Emmylou's original recorded version for 50 years. This may be even better!
Yeah I was thinking the same thing
Yes, thanks so much Polly. I am such a big fan of your Dad's that when I lived in Austin, I kept wanting to visit that little yellow store on Ben White that you bought. But every time that I considered it I was like a nervous little schoolboy. By the time I worked up the courage, you weren't there much anymore and were selling the place.
Such wonderful harmonies, it's not often that you get to hear two voices naturally working so well together, just beautiful...
Listening to this brings me to another place and time in my life. Totally soul soothing!
Many thanks for this excellent version. Keep them coming.
Love this version so much. So glad this was posted ❤

Miss the Bijou Cafe
Wow!!! To what do I owe the extreme pleasure and surprise of the greatest ever! Some special occasion? A commemoration?
We are releasing this newly discovered Gram Parsons live show as a Record Store Day Black Friday title in November!
Is this remastered?
They had a 50-year-old tape to work with, and they got expert help. It was originally mike-sourced, and was preserved because Neil Flanz wanted a copy of the performance. @@TerjeMorewood
fucking love gram
Beautiful performance of a gorgeous song. I’m so glad this live album was found is being released. I had call a number of record stores in the Tampa Bay Area. And was so glad I tracked down a copy at Daddy Kool Records in St. Petersburg. St. Pete/ Clearwater has some wonderful record stores .
I'm heading over to Amoeba tomorrow!
Manythnx Amoeba 🤘

Neil Flanz doing some tasty stuff on steel..
Beautiful harmony - their voices just blended so well, quite a rare thing for non-siblings. A bit puzzled though by what sounds like a wasp in the works from around 4:00🤔
That's the pedal steel through a fuzz pedal. Rusty Young from Poco did that a lot.
Greetings from rainy Philadelphia. Is there a compact disc release of the Bijou Cafe show on the horizon?
This is going to be a Record Store Day release if I am correct.
Yes, exactly! It will be available in November as a Record Store Day Black Friday release.
Is this the restored version? If so i wonder who did it, the sound is very inbalanced and not mixed
What about on CD?
You don't own a turntable?
We did a CD version for the Kickstarter campaign earlier this year, but the Record Store Day Black Friday release will only be 2LP vinyl.
@@michaelconfoy2862 One can own a turntable AND desire a CD.
@@amoeba When will CDs be available?
Beautiful song but why not list Emmylou as a performer?
She has approved this release. She was a member of the Fallen Angels. I suspect she wanted Gram to get the attention; she loved him.
Kazoo?
Electric violin? Guitar?
