- Hello there, in this video, we'll take a look at the installation of after-market exhaust and an output comparison between the stock exhaust and the after-market exhaust. I bought the Rhino Racing Exhaust made specifically for the Super Meteor 650. Link to the site mentioned below.
This put me back by INR 15,000 but worth every bit of it. Extremely happy with the exhaust note. A little loud but excellent bass.

I've got a Super Meteor 650 - Celestial Red - and I was offered an after market exhaust, but I stuck with the standard exhaust!!
It has a beautiful tone, and I prefer quiet - and so do my neighbours.
Ohh definitely, the stock exhaust is pure class. Try doing 40-50 in 5th gear, the rumble is music!!
Best sound comparison video on UA-cam so far. Done very sensibly. No nonsense. I have booked mine and have decided to go with 2024 model which will come with Wingman as default. Looks like a useful add-on since it works like a GPS tracker and has the following features.
a) Live tracking
b) Last parked location
c) Trip summary
d) Vehicle Alerts
e) Proactive support by the GRID team

@@autorevvv Thank you. Wingman will indeed be useful in many ways as it is just like a GPS tracker. RE is offering it with 5 years subscription. Not bad in INR 6500. I chose Astral black with Royal Enfield genuine accessories, specially LED indicators as they will change the outlook a bit (my personal opinion). Eagerly waiting to join the SM club.

I was being offered 2023 manufactured model but I opted for 2024 manufactured model as 2024 variants will come installed with Wingman as standard accessory with 5 years subscription. There will also be a price increase since the wingman alone costs INR 6500 as an add-on for existing Super Meteor (old models). I booked mine on 17th Dec 2023 and was given 3 months waiting time. Fingers crossed.

I bought Rhino racing Exhaust for my Super meteor, and also DNA filter. Sound is really grooly and good without db killer, but the engine becomes really hot in a short time, and smell bad. With db killer the sound is good but less loud and the engine goes right. I made some bigger holes on the db killer..;) Also there is a little increase of power..

Did you notice exhaust sound changes post cold start and when you have driven it for like 100 kms. Its more bassy in the beginning and becomes more throaty later
Yes it does. Its nothing but reactions to different temperatures. Good thing no it's a two in one :)

Definitely sounds louder and has the thump as compared to the stock which can barely be heard under the helmet unless you rev it. May be it’s just me, didn’t find the rhinos to be soothing to the ears which one would like to have when you are out all day long
Yes Rhinos have the thump and honestly haven’t found them to be annoying on long rides. At higher speeds it turns into a softer rumble with all the wind and under the helmet.
Does nobody drive in their own lane wherever you are? Those Rhinos sound good.

Someone dies on the Indian roads every hour. I too have this bike but I ride only in the winter and at the hours when the roads are empty otherwise it's just too risky.

One question... Did the Rhino silencers come with their own heat shields, or did you end up reusing the heat shields that came with the factory exhausts?

Rust did come up on my Rhinos within 2 months, because this was the mild steel version. I contacted Bykology and they sent a replacement stainless steel version - at no additional cost

Which exhaust sound is better gursevak or rhino racing?
I only had a chance to hear both through UA-cam videos, and both have a similar bass-y sound profile. Personally I preferred Rhino as it is a little less loud, costs 10k less AND looks great! 🙂

A good quality Custom exhaust won’t harm the engine any way. Make sure to buy one from a reliable source. Avoid the ones available at local shops. All the best!!
what is the price for 2 piece of exhaust, in your description you mentioned 15k but when i checked at site i see as 33k for 2 piece

What's DB KILLER??
It’s a tiny barrel that comes with the exhaust. If inserted, it reduces the sound output, same profile just a lot lower volume.

Hahaha that’s called a Saree Guard. Saree is an Indian attire for women, like a drape, so when they ride pillion, the cloth shouldn’t get tangled with the wheels and lead to accidents! Just a thoughtful arrangement 😊

@@ripudamansharma5990 I did measure when I changed to the Rhinos. On Stock exhaust (for first 3 months) - I was getting an average of 21 in City and 23-24 on Highways. After Rhino - this dropped to 19-20 in City and 22 flat on Highways. I measured using tank-full to tank-full method. Hope this was helpful 🙂

Bhai Mujhe nahi pasand batwing fairings - Bykology, MKdesigns ke hai 2-3 options - check and choose for yourself - but expensive bhi hai - 15k+ Aur honestly ye sirf design ke liye hai riding me no effect. Toh decide lagana hai ya nahi

@@Aabhi244 AEEDEA ka check karta hu, haven’t seen it yet. Riding smooth me bhai basics pe dhyaan dedo bas. Chain lube karo regularly, tyre pressure sahi rakho, service on time, air filter change will help. Windshield Maine lagaya hai but nikal dunga, face / helmet me wind blast Ho raha hai ab jo pehle chest par hota tha aur better tha. Baaki suspensions SM650 ke stiff hai toh ride quality waise hi kaafi bumpy hai kuch Aur zyada kar nahi sakte.

@@Aabhi244 Sahara seats I also want - Will order tomorrow. Chain lube har 300-400 kms me karlo or twice a month. 5 min ka kaam hai. Once a month chain clean / wash bhi karna chahiye

@@aquilottoaquilotto8735 Best output is without DB killers. With them, the sound profile is very similar to stock. Try out both back to back and pick for yourself!! Congrats on the Rhinos, probably the best sounding exhausts for SM right now.

Namaste sir. I ended up getting Rhino mufflers shipped to Australia. I also fitted a DNA airbox with filter and the power output is increased. Also the response is good. The mufflers sound lovely. @@autorevvv Namaste sir. I have a quick question. I have fitted the rhino racing exhausts and they sound great as I have mentioned above. However, they both have a fair bit of sideways movement on bumpy roads. I realize they are rubber mounted, but, are they meant to have movement???
Hey I can relate. They're NOT supposed to have sideways movement. Do you also feel air leak from the pipe joint? Happened with mine too and I realized the bush plug that is used to connect the pipe, flew off during bumps / acceleration and that's what causes the sideways movement. Go to a local workshop, they'll have a makeshift bush installed or you can also use the ones from stock pipes. Let me know if this fixes it.

Whats up!! Yo, from Pune. It has escaped until now, driven past traffic cops very closely a few times, they din't seem to care. Obviously I've been careful not to open the throttle much in such situations, just gently glide away.

Oh yes, Rhinos are just a little bit louder, I kind of wanted that, feels a lot more engaging while riding.
