The bike is great, but cruisers in general are not good for your spine, unless you have tight abs. In normal bikes like street fighter or ADVs the impact of potholes and speed breakers is absorbed by your legs first, but in cruisers entire impact is absorbed by your spine, due to for frontset foot rest, you can’t even stand up in such situation. This can injure your disc. Tighten your abs if your really love cruisers or stay away. Edit - This bike in particular also has stiff suspension, keep that in mind.
@serveradas993… Very true, I am completely ok for longer rides when I was riding Himalayan (Rental) & Unicorn (Own) - Both are mono shock absorber… no issues in spine or no major body pain. However, when I had ridden Thunderbird, my co-passenger but the driver was not… I had a stiff back after riding around 200 kms… This is what most reviewers should do esp long term reviewers
@@severadas993I think some reviews have highlighted this. If RE decides to launch it, the SG 650 will have mid controls. Saying this based on the spy shots. I would never buy a bike with forward controls.
I was planning for a bike which can be used for city and highway rides... Kindly help with your suggestions triumph speed 400 has reliability issues. Honda lacks at technology good at heart. Currently shortlisted super meteor.
I've driven the super meteor 650 for 800 kms from Bangalore to Hyderabad , and honestly I didnt feel much of pain , while keeping in mind I dont got no six packs nor im skinny , I'm normal , not fat as hell but I'm normal and for a normal guy like me , it felt alright . I've driven himalayan and himalayan keeps ur back in a stiff riding position which is amazing but the meteor keeps u in comfort position so you can take meteor and super meteor only if ur around 5'6 - 5'10 coz it's the perfect height for the bike .
I agree with you brother! People have a very bad misconceptions about the Supermeteor 650! Regarding it's weight and length (hence making it difficult to ride) But when I rode it myself I actually found it so so easy to ride in city traffic that too with a pillion sadly I did not have my GoPro back than to record my ride but trust me it was easier than an Interseptor! People should really go ahead and test ride it before spreading hate about a motorcycle based on what they saw on the internet. Also yes the rear suspension is a bit stiff but its usually like that on a cruiser so can't blame it. PS I'm not even sponsored by RE to say this but I appreciate your honesty buddy hence the rant!!!🙈😁
O man. Watching ur videos is when i started thinking about a Himalayan.. Then u drove the Honda CB300x and now the Meteor 650.. Cant buy so many of them bro.. The way you drive them, watching ur vlogs is a lot of fun..
Lovely content and narration and extempore .Reminds me of toll free traveller . Just get the sky in your field and your framing is perfect. Try using the max mod lens. Better pov. Cheers man. Let’s catch up on the road
Hi. Hoping to get an answer from you. I am planning to buy the SM650 in a couple of months. I intend to use it in Pune. My usage would be to travel to office 30 km both ways. I would be travelling to office twice or thrice every week. And I will be using the bike for weekend gateways and mini tours. should should I buy this bike? What kind of mileage is expected?
Hey buddy. At 5:05 which is the garage you visited? Me being a new interceptor owner in Bangalore would love to know coz I don't wanna give my bike to the RE service centre anymore.🙃
This is a fan boy opinion. While it's a great value proposition, it's hardly 'effortless' in traffic. I have the super meteor and I dread to ride it in bangalore traffic. Cruisers are hardly comfortable in traffic. Also the ground clearance is low to keep saddle height low. That makes it scrape frequently
I rode it for 45 minutes & half was with rickshaws cutting you 😂 and the weight to avoid them Also the heat in stop/go bumper to bumper traffic is a lot especially with shorts on !!! 😜😜This cruiser is not up for you cruising in shorts
You’re not lifting the motorcycle to say it’s heavy, any motorcycle is. On the move, the aerodynamics of the motorcycle will ensure it’s effortless. 4:326:27 hypocrite😂
Hi bro, thanks for watching. As I mentioned, it is a misconception about the bike being too heavy to handle in traffic. Secondly, I was overtaking a lady who was preoccupied on her phone in the middle of the road at 6:22. I am not a hypocrite. I just think you are being very hypercritical 🥸
Appreciate the observation bro. I was just chillin’ on the bike. Casual rides, casual clothes. Plus I was returning the bike bro, flippin’ returning it. The world's already on fire bro, really hot these days, take a chill pill 😘

It can never be easier than interceptor while maneuvering slowly.I have interceptor and I had also driven meteor 650.
The rear shock gets softer after about 1300kms, but I do wish RE would have put a better progressive shock on the back. The front shocks are perfect.
An absolutely beautiful bike! I love the fact that it's a 650!
Excellent. You nailed it to the point that it can be driven in cities easily. All others neglected this very important point.
You are the best motor vlogger I have been watching,❤... Keep growing man
Second best. First is @annyarun 😜
Salve ! Nós estamos esperando essa moto no Brasil ! Abraço !
His videos gives me a vibe of travelling 🤌🏼✨
rock suspension what u told is on point bro !!!!Stiff as woodAnd bro u have to go city market areas and show not in wide highways
Aside from how good the bike is, your driving skill also really good making bike that heavy seems effortless to drive
it looks very maneuverable too. which is a surprise
It is surprisingly maneuverable. You can actually steer with just your butt. lol.
That odometer should be in the center, it looks so bothersome

Этот трафик... смотрел поджав ноги😅 после такой школы можно на чём угодно в городе двигаться!
If its not the magic of editing. The timing of the Gt's were absolutely insane.. Wtf 😱
It was all a coincidence.

how much average you got in city

That’s great. Will promote riding gear usage since many use regular jeans with useless knee protectors.
It is comfortable for 6.3 feet man

Does it heat during bumper traffic and is it unbearable for legs and thighs
I haven't ridden the bike but if someone says this doesn't heat up in the city traffic, then they are clearly lying.
