Looking for speakers BN96-18088A. Where to source a good set ?
Very effective DIY dust/lint remover:
You'll need a standard household vacuum cleaner, a straw (or the tube of an ink pen, etc.) such as the fat ones you get with a milkshake or at 7-Eleven, and tape such as electrical tape (works best), or duct tape that you can find at your local dollar store. Stick less than half of the straw into the hard plastic hose attachment tool of your vacuum cleaner. Then wrap the electrical tape around the straw and hose attachment, giving it a nice seal. Be careful as the suction force can be very strong. You don't want to suck up any parts that are not locked down.

My screen is not cracked, but it has now 2 thin vertical lines next to each other like the size of a thread. Is this process still apply?

Ahh... I just got to the part of cleaning the vents because I was lazy. I used a brush and cleaned off all the dust and hey... It worked!

What was the conclusion of this diagnosis ? , If one didn't have the bottom crack, is it the board, and how exact must one get in its replacement. Several boards eBay have the BN94-12197 -x ( ABCDEF =x )
Thanks for watching & for us, it ended up being a cracked panel. After tracking down a replacement panel and getting it delivered, it was a very friendly DIY project.

If your screen shows no signs of impact cracks, it’s very likely that your panel is still good it just needs a replacement board.

To my eye, it looks like the screen class is cracked at the bottom of the blue stripe.

It ended up being a cracked inner panel & had to be replaced. That video will be coming in the next week or so.

Thanks for watching & welcome to the DIY Raptor Club. The best thing to do is remove the back panel from your TV where you can gain access to the inner parts.
Once inside, you will see a part number sticker placed on the aluminum panel that all the internal parts screw into.
Getting this exact part number for your panel will help us look up your exact replacement screen.
