How can you open Settings if All you see is Stripes?
Wow! The first solution worked perfectly. Thanks.
Unplugging the power cable fixed it for me. Thank you.
Shoutout to this video. My TV started showing the lines after our cleaning lady wiped it yesterday. I was about to be pissed and have to buy a new TV but the first solution worked. Clutch.
Thanks!! Solution #1 worked fine!!!
Your first solution worked for me, thanks! I think my issue was it was powered into a power strip instead of the wall 😅
First solution worked, just saved me buying a new tv thank you ❤
Thank you, and may God bless you. I thought I would need to replace my 50 inch smart Roku Tv. After the first suggestion on the video it’s now working 🙏
Life saver! 1st step worked.
Thanks for this 😊 solution 1 sorted my TV... After a longtime of Google searching
The vertical lines went away with the first solution option. THANK YOU SOOO MUCH! 🥰
Same🎉
Thank you!!
Power straight to the wall plug got rid of the large green and purple vertical lines, Thank you Sir
Thank you!!! Fixed🎉🎉🎉
Crazy. I have had my tv plugged into the same power strip for years but within the last 24 hours these vertical lines started appearing if there was any sort of color beside black. Your first solution was the fix to my surprise. Thanks.
First solution worked! 👍🏻
Thank you!
First one worked
Hi @robbie3674. Since you said the first one worked for you. Actually I'm also facing this same issue. For how much time did you hold the power button and did it resolve quickly ?
Thank you so much! You just saved me 2,000$ lol I thought my new 85 in tv was just randomly broken 🙏
I have that same issue and can't solve it :( When I power my TV, I can see the channel. After some seconds these stipes lay over the image until the TV image completely disappears and only color stripes are visible. When I leave my TV on for around 1 to 2 hours, these colored stripes are gone completely and the display works fine. As if some component needs to warm up. but I can't waste 2 hours of power just to watch a bit TV... so I guess it is something with the mainboard? I have an UE49K...something. No idea what part I should order or if I should buy a new TV. Seems to be a known issue for many Samsung customers.
Almost had to buy a new tv!!!
I still have one vertical black line after trying all of the options, either way thank you so very much for your help!!!!!😊
Did you find a solution? :/
Since you “still have a black line left” I’m gonna assume that the instructions worked
I recommend that you try the instructions again since they worked with the other ones
this happened on my monitor and it fixed it, thanks
what did u do ?
Your 1st solution worked for me . I hope it will not happen again
How do you navigate to support with the black screen and lines showing?
Can select source if you cant see the screen!!!
This happens just intermittently when I’m watching Netflix, usually only right when I turn it on then usually don’t see it again. So my problem is there is no input issues… maybe I’ll try some resets
Wow was literally about to return the TV
I just spent $1,000 on a Q80BD from Costco. Unboxed it and set it up today, going to get my money back tomorrow. Got a vertical and horizontal line after a few hours (like a crosshair on a rifle scope). I’m not going to play these games. The salesman at Best Buy told me wholesalers’ tv’s don’t use the same components as tv’s from Best Buy even though the model number is exactly the same except for the added character (in this case, BD rather than B). Maybe that’s true, maybe it isn’t, I don’t know. I just know this thing is a piece of garbage.
I’m on the biggest comedown off my life from Ibiza I just want my fucking TV to work bruv I’m taking West Ham to premier league success
I put it on game mode in the settings and the lines went immediately
So what causes this?
overheating may cause loose cable connections inside your TV
Samsung updates lol?
I been trying so many of these to fix my TVs lines. I tried step 1 but I don’t see a power button on my TV anywhere 😂
Where did you find the power button?
@@annetterivera684 on the very bottom but it’s angles towards the back. For me it was behind the logo in a really weird spot. It’s the only button and honestly doesn’t even really resemble a power button.
No working😬
Thank you tho
Honestly a cheaper tv works better than a well known tv company
GREAT VIDEO!! Saved me hundreds 🫡💯
