Black Stripe in LED TV Screen

- In this video, vertical black stripe appears in Rowa 40" LED TV. Rowa used 40" V400HJ6-PE1 INNOLUX panel in this TV. And we solved this problem by changing only one COF with the help of TAB/COF BONDING MACHINE.

Very nicely done video on how this is done. It looks like it requires very expensive equipment. There is a vertical black line about 1cm wide on my camera screen. Is it probably cheaper to buy a new screen than to repair the screen as described above?

i have never seen a tab/cof bonding machine.maybe only in a tv factory. What country do people spend so much time to fix a low quality brand tv..you can find sony, Lg and samsung in the trash and repair them for better results.Amazing work..like a nasa scientist..Cheers

Hello, is there an option to make a matrix driver manually to the glass, a complete replacement, the driver burned out in the middle and burst, there are 12 spare similar drivers, but bu, is it possible to make a matrix without using a machine with a microscope and a soldering iron with the same tape?

I have a 32" RCA TV it has the same thing but on the left side and they are pretty thin they also over lap on things like the no signal the source and the menu they are always there never flash and r there from turning on to turning off one of them goes away if I pick up the TV on that side and put a little pressure on a certain part of the TV

Only just found this video, would the repair be possible to do manually without the bonding machine ?. Excellent job by the way, a pleasure to watch.
I believe I have seen a video by Ornate Pixels where he solders the PCB side of a COF back onto the PCB, using thin solder paste, a heat gun, a steady hand, and the patience of a saint. Can't say for sure if that technique would work on the glass panel side, but if you don't have access to a technician with advanced repair technology then it's probably your best bet

If you have to replace the actual COF strip due to damage, are they available to be purchased and from where? Are they common to all models on SAMSUNG TV's or are they different per model?

Just a friendly comment: stripe, not strap.
Straps are used to tie or strap something down (ex. a bundle of wood) or straps used to lift or carry something (ex. the chest had lifting straps on the sides).
A stripe is usually thin and is like pinstriping on a car or the stripes of a tiger.
This display has has a vertical stripe or band.
