Like years ago, I still use and love your build man! Crazy to believe it’s been 8 years!! I’ve kinda stopped playing for a while. Ever since they cut AoE taunt with tormentor set I just really lost interest. Anyways keep up the great work 🎉
I do sort of resent how overburdened ESO tanks are compared to other MMOs. It’s not just holding aggro and surviving attacks. Not even just knowing all the dungeons and trials and encounters. They’re also responsible for buffing, debuffing and sometimes healing.
I like to go with Divines on my hands and waist, because the resistance gained from Reinforced is pretty negligible, given the resistance inherent to those armor slots. But the +18.2% mundus effect you're gaining from those two Divines pieces aren't effected by the fact that those armor slots provide the least resistance. I use Reinforced everywhere else, but I also use an ice staff on my back-bar, to rotate between which resource pool is fueling my block. Going this route I've never really felt the need to use Sturdy. But that's just a play-style thing...
I'm thinking if you enchant the 3 pieces of jewelries with the reduce triple resources cost (as I remember it's -133), then the Cinder Storm would be free? Can someone here test it out xDD
Mr. Xynode! I've been using the group healing variant for about a year or more now. I decided to give the shredder build a shot and I'm curious why you removed the Bloodlord's Embrace from the mix. Does Crimson Oath's bonus need to be maintained on both bars at all time to maintain the resistance debuff? If that's the case I haven't noticed.
Easier to have on both bars due to timer, else too much micro managing, but if you prefer you can do the same as the winter's embrace version and use the Mythic if you like
Yes although I wouldn't advise worrying about builds until your cp 160 cause that's gear cap, prior to cp 160 you're just going to out level whatever you have. As far as solo the infinite archive version does amazing in IA and can deal a little bit of damage in overland, the other setups have to hack a skeever to death slowly.
This is a good starting survivable set. The tremorscale version is decent in group content. More advanced groups will prefer you to replace leeching with another group buff set. In hard content, one powerful tank < eleven buffed group members.
Yep! I used this for my first ESO build. I had never played a video game before, unless you count Spyro. XD It's very forgiving and makes surviving easier for me while learning how to play, and can do A Lot when you learn how to use it well. Also, it just feels better to use builds and guides from people who don't send weird stalker fans to troll other creators pages. 🍺🍰
I find it's sometimes worth while to put just enough attribute points into either Stamina or Magicka to dictate which pool is larger (after food, CP, etc), because this will be the resource pool which Symphony of Blades will be helping you recover. Symphony of Blades is probably the most widely used monster set amongst healers. A few attribute points here can have a huge impact on your recovery. But if your healer doesn't have Symphony of Blades, don't be a dick about it. After all, they're not obligated to supplement your recovery. And Vet Depths of Malatar can be a real pain in the ass, especially for newer players. Instead, be awesome and offer to help them collect it by tanking it for them and sharing your helm drop. :)
Kool vid as always ^^ But I didn't quite understand the reasoning behind the 2 ranged taunts. Why have inner rage when chain does basically the same job and more.. and potentially for free?
@MrMurkymind chains are a soft taunt, inner fire is a hard taunt. If you pull it with chains it can then be hard taunted by someone else and override the chains, hard taunts always override soft taunts. Sometimes inner fire can reach farther when you need to taunt an enemy a dps is running around the room thinking that will get rid of aggro. If your in a dungeon with an annoying arcanist pulling the boss with taunt skill(they don't read the skill) chains will not work
@matthewsanders1154 if they are using a taunt anyway, it will still over ride. You don't plan builds around potentially meeting an incompetent arcanist. Destructive clench should be all that is needed, unless you on specific fights where bar swapping is not possible, or potentially hazardous. Sadly, like all his tank builds, it is nigh on useless. The reliance on the crutch of leeching shows a significant lack of understanding of latter game content. Great, you can tank trash... trash is not what groups get stuck on.
@pklemming experience proves you wrong. Don't care what your groups do or don't do, I've cleared nearly every content in this game on this tank. It works and it just does and you'll just be wrong. Doesn't mean your tanks are wrong just a different playstyle is all for a different type of group. Clench is only useful on an icestaff tank(valid type of tank) but it's not necessary or required for every single build. Use clench if you want it works on certain builds for players who want to use it. It's not "useless tank bro" that's the toxic talking, put away the crazy for a bit
@@pklemming Inner Fire is prefered over Clench since the synergy got buffed (a lot) and Minor Brittle is easy covered by Arcanists. You basically only run Clench when you need Major Maim.
@pklemming or dps can bring their own dps and do their own roll 🤷♂️ why don't you go away and stop trying to force people you don't even play with to play how you and your group plays or else? The ninjas have cleared all of that content using only xynodes builds and they don't have to prove anything to you or your gatekeeping. Go troll somewhere else for a change
You can run pretty much any build with any race your just losing out on a pretty easy way to get extra stats so you’ll want to make up for it with gear setup later.
@@Iloveelli1 any race any class can do any role, just note the differences and find ways to make up for what your missing. Racial bonuses are tiny, nearly irrelevant for most, the difference between 3223 spell dmg and 3000 spell dmg, at times, most of the time it can be made up for with glyphs or food/consumable or mundus stones
The Leeching Plate increases the heal when fighting multiple enemies while Vigor does not. And Leeching triggers the heal at no resource cost while Vigor costs stamina

YASS!!! Best Build! This is the first build I looked at (and tried) when I started ESO on my lil DK. It's still my default and I love it.
My first ever build off of a content creator when I started playing during lockdown ❤
Thanks for the years of Builds and awesome streams, Xy

For those instant queue times makes it worth it. You can always do one selfish & one support armor set

Easy sorc is definitely the most popular build of all time on eso
I just started this game last night I love this build but I understand nothing... help!!!
Which platform are you playing on?
Good luck, I’m 9 years in and understand nothing too

Nord, orc and redguards
Wood elf
For the Infinite Archive build, is that meant to be paired with a strong companion/PC DPS?

No, not even slightly.
If you want to learn how to tank well, at any level, try 'Hyperioxes'.
Avoid this approach like the plague
