Apologies for referring to 'Warm' as the default 'Color Temp' setting - as covered in the review, that's not the case using 'Gamer 1'. The default setting is 'Custom' with all channels set to '50', providing a >9000K white point on our unit. 'Warm' is warmer than this, but being ~7000K it's far from 'Warm' in appearance.

Hello! Do the aspect ratio modes from the OSD stay available in native resolution with adaptive sync off? I know that visually doesn’t make any difference but in theory by selecting just scan you are telling the monitor that 0 scaling is needed (even if there is no need).
The written review covers a feature called 'CPC (Convex Power Control)', which causes the monitor to dim towards the edges for certain content. You may not notice this or find this bothersome, especially outside of the desktop. But it's possible to disable in the service menu as covered in this post - forum.pcmonitors.info/topic/asus-pg27aqdm-vs-lg-27gr95qe/#post-73013.
Finally. Hey it only took about 20 years...wooo. woo.. Now that i'm ancient and my eyesight is gone >D Funny though how they finally release the only worthy monitor in 20 yeas. And they splatter it in a matte coating.. dough! 👀 eggs? BTW: Thanks for the years and years and years of slogging through the cesspool with some of the best hands on matter of fact reviews on the web.
This monitor does have a confirmed hidden menu. Turn off your monitor. Once off. Push the joystick to the left 3 times and one time to the right, Then .Push in the center to turn the monitor on service menu. Once The main menu comes out. Go to settings ..and the hidden menu will pop up on the left side of your screen. Once there. You need to turn on HCDP on in order to enjoy netflix in full 4k with hdr. Otherwise it wont work. We need all the help we can get together.
@@Gioxtream You may be thinking of the 27GR95UM. The 27GR95QE-B most definitely features a button, not a joystick. I have one in front of me. The manual even has instructions for using the button (compared to the manual for the GR95UM which has instructions for using the joystick)
I have the LG Ultragear 32GQ950-B and I have the problem, that DFC is screwing me over. I LOVE HDR and I play a lot of games in HDR. The problem is, that DFC is forced on when the monitor is running in HDR mode. The settings for DFC and many more settings are greyed out. DFC keeps dimming my monitor when playing based on screen content. Keeps dimming quiet a bit so the screen gets pretty dark some times. Is there any way to force DFC off when using HDR mode on this monitor? Maybe via the service menu?
Using the remote you should be able to access the full menu, as shown. If not can you get to 'General' in the OSD and disable 'OSD Lock'? If not, contact LG as it may be locked into store mode or something.
Not in my experience, it depends on monitor model and in many cases the default sharpness is correct and neutral. In this case reducing it from default provides an overly soft image.
@@PCMonitors thx for the quick reply, got this monitor yesterday. And i can't find a solution for it. I only use the remote. Also switched to gamer 1 and other settings. But every setting.. i only can change the brightness and contrast
I just bought this monitor Does anyone know why my monitor isn’t giving any sound audio the logo it’s giving is a headset ca I turn off ?? And hear audio out of monitor??.
@@PCMonitors yes it's showing 2560x1440 on pc but on PS5 under general setting using remote it's showing as 3840 and also under display information in ps5

How to keep the service menu settings saved? They reset and you have to reenable them

i can't tell if you're just lying or serious

How can I unlock the custom settings it only allows me to change brightness

Have you tried setting the sharpness to zero? I've found on most monitors anything above zeto just adds false contours ie edge enhancement.

How come i can only change brightness en contrast? I'm looking for a solution for it. Manual says osd, but i cant find anything to unlock it
You need to use the remote as shown in the video.

You probably have HDR active on your system.
@@PCMonitors no, also tried to set it on and off at pc and playstation. Still nothing, very strange 🙄
Have you tried 'Reset to Initial Settings' in 'General'?
Does the screen move ever cut off part of the image like the Asus monitor?
No, it only moves inside the active area as described in the written review. :)
I just bought this monitor Does anyone know why my monitor isn’t giving any sound audio the logo it’s giving is a headset ca I turn off ?? And hear audio out of monitor??.
It doesn't have integrated speakers.
I dont see "hexagon lighting" in the general menu
Do you have the 27GR95QE?
@@PCMonitors No but i have the exact same one just not OLED
hello friend I wanted to buy this monitor to use it with the pc, is it worth it?
Check out the review for a detailed assessment. I do recommend it for PC gaming - pcmonitors.info/articles/best-gaming-monitors/ .
I cant turn buzzer off, anybody else have this issue?
Why js the resolution 3840x2560
Do you mean 3840 x 2160? It could be using the downsampling mode - you should be able to select 2560 x 1440 instead.
