- This video is part of my Devil Mythic Path ascension playthrough. This is based on a poll conducted on my channel and it's also the reason I am playing as Isaac from Castlevania. My party will be Seelah, Wenduag, Daeran, Regill, and Nenio. Over time I will release builds for all of them. I plan to romance Wenduag and achieve soul mate status with her. I have never done that nor have I achieved ascension as a Devil so some of this will be new to me. I also haven't done a full playthrough of the game in years so please bare with me. :)

Thanks for this. I know it's not everyone cup of tea but love that kind of content.
Ah the Daeran banter. It breathes life into all playthroughs, the flirting *chefs kiss*
Is Wenduag having a crush on him ?
@@Kaynos Yep, they have some campiing dialogue that hints at it too.
Slandard, I really like your voice acting. You do the more aggressive characters very well. I am enjoying this and thank you for doing it.
Really enjoying the playthrough, and RPing Issac is a nice touch.
My favorite type of content
Just as an FYI. Winter's Grasp is something I've recently starting picking up. It is extremely strong early game. It's basically grease with a larger area with a little bit of damage. It doesn't last as long as grease but has better coverage.
the most important part about winter's grasp is when and how it actually trips.
I dont know if this is bugged but if you are using feather step you will not get slowed from the difficult terrain part, but you STILL get knocked prone every round if you dont succeed in the save. this allows us to knock people prone who are levitating or using featherstep, which is a massive upgrade over grease. Obviously stacking both is straight up sinister.
You put your voice through hell for these playthroughs. I love it!
That enchantment + undead bloodline dip is amazing. I always do that for my enchantment specialist. I have started using geomancer for the diip though because geomancy is really cool and works with just a single level in it.
I am loving your play through. I unfortunately am way too busy to catch up on my huge amount of backlog so it is nice to watch and listen to you. Play it and hear the story while you play it. Appreciate your work. 0:47
thanks for the playthroughs
thoroughly enjoyable
wheee daeran the ultra goat! im excited to see what you are doing with him. I personally made him into a dual cursed oracle (ye not very different from his original) but i changed his dex into str to give him battle and life mystery. i just cant get over it when hes charging in with his 2h weapon and screaming his terrifying battle shout. so thats why i had to go for this kind of approach.
well i gotta watch the episode later, just wanted to drop a comment so you dont stop posting this run XD
Also...if Isaac met Ember after or before Dracula....he would had been redeemed!
They would had made such a pair ! Their origins are soo much alike.
Regarding doing fights w/o fighting defensively - I always do turned based mode, so that allows more strategic use of that.
Yeah the "Truly Important Deed" Achievement take a bit to get
Regarding Nenio - I wish she was a romance option, especially for a Kitsune. It would have been nice if she offered to mention you in her Encyclopedia. I do like Daeran's line about spoiling Deskari's party.
I wish that all important, not just main character had voicelines because i didn't imagined Hulrun's voice like that =))
More closer to the Hand of the Inheritor but much more heavy and disciplined.
Great video!
I wonder if a blood seeker and a blood kineticist legend build would be viable ? Go full vampire hehehehe
This may be off topic, but I have an idea for a titan fighter build, playing as gilgamesh from final fantasy 5, ever fighting, ever looting weapons from the people he defeats, and ever respecting bravery and grit even in from the strangest places (definetely azata)
Liking these videos and the cover art in particular.
I have missed your long playthroughs! I know they're a struggle, have you considered doing them live on twitch to make a second platform?
I played this as a paladin->angel and i wish you could use detect evil, it would solve so many problems. Detect evil on the prelate would absolutely reveal he is a murderer and loose cannon, at which point killing him is your DUTY as a paladin
That's the thing, Hulrun isn't a "loose" canon, as he's still more than willing to bend to the light of heaven or the authority of Queen Galfrey.
He's a murderer, sure, likely drenched in the blood of innocents but that doesn't make him 'evil' in the cosmic sense that demons or devils are, and therefore not exactly a paladin's sacred responsibility. Seelah can sense good and evil well enough that Camillia commented on it, and she didn't think to murder Hulrun for his crimes, because at the end of the day, Prelate Hulrun is Lawful Good.
You know the old maxim: The best defense is a good offense? I mean, your characters who are fighting defensively are still getting creamed at this level anyway. Sure there are some fights that are tricky imo, but all in all I think the trade off is better to be offensive than not because your fights will go shorter, meaning hopefully less attritional damage.
I really don't get Horgus' issue about the nobility of the Gwerm name and for it to not be sullied considering... well, he has already long since sullied it when he took it over.
Live stream last night was lit! If you guys weren't there, you should make an effort to catch it, I guarantee it'll be worth your time.
W let's play as usual, slandered!❤
the dragon age one?
@@michaelbieri87 that's the one!
Everything about Hulrun makes me so irrationally angry it's funny. Truly the worst guy of all time.
and still it is preferable to keep him alive, so he will send those op paladins into one of the tougher battles in the garrison attack XD i learned this in my second run as i murdered him in the first run.
and yes... i get so irritated when ember confronts him and forgives him so easily.
this is also why i hate lawful characters XD except regill hes fun :D
Daeran is so insufferable that he should have less CHA than Wenduag 😂😂
lmao, what even is Charisma a measure of?
