Ordered my SEIBON carbon fiber BM Hood Monday. I ordered some nice black cerakoted black hood button locks & the pins that go on the radiator support are burnt 6AL4V grd 5 titanium to match all the other titanium hardware throughout the entire build! Man if I were you I’d bullet proof your old engine & put it. That way you don’t have to keep messing around! I mean technically all you need is a sick set of rods, pistons & a solid crank hub & you can put down more power with no worries…💪🏻🏁
That sounds sick, you've definitely got a tasteful build going on over there! And yeah, it's tempting for sure. I may just have to do it after I swap in this engine, just need some time and $$$.
@@jake_spence Yeah I hear ya! This stuff is expensive, especially when you start building motors. Then again who knows, you could put this other engine in & get a lot of miles out of it! You never know? I hope you do though! Hope it stays together with no issues! Yeah so I’m gonna put my hood on when it comes & put in my phoenix plenum & ignition. Then I’ll take out this summer & hit some shows & hopefully race it a few times. Then over next winter I’m gonna order the trunk lid, put in the stage 3 pump & reflex controller. Like you said this is expensive…✌🏻😂

Dang $3500 for that condition, gives me hope about my 127k mile car in the same spec, but way better maintained. Nice purchase
If it didn't have all of the mods, I wouldn't have paid what I did. But yeah, the 335i market is still strong where I live. You can fetch $8-10k for a decently clean early model 335i as long as it isn't 160k+ miles.
At least i know I’m not the only one who goes through this after buying a cheap car. “Ahhh this might have been worse than I thought” has been said too many times.

Great donor car Jake. The gearbox needs the common new gaskets and new solenoids and oil. Or the torque convertor has gone by these 19t's. Have a good one, Dutch regards Nico.

Those lights definitely just needs brakes, speed sensor and a reset of maintenance light, at least it doesn’t have a check engine light. 🤞🏽😁

Yes, that sounds like centre support is loose or your elastic coupler is broken. I had both and yours sounds more like coupler problem.
Hope it will be that as it is a cheap fix.
