I'm glad to hear that, that's exactly what we're going for. Just some guys hanging out, having fun tinkering with cars, and sprinkling in some humor! It's been fun.
I just love the whole process of super-sluething the problems of this car out. It's definitely an adventure, that has real payoff in the end when you get things working, and could also help some of us at home with our own car projects.
@@jake_spence also saw you were interacting with your fanbase a lot. good to see it. you have for sure earned my viewership. cheers man. hope your youtube career is good to you.
Can't wait to see it driving down the road, I saved my e46 from going to the junkyard (previous owner blew the engine and was going to scrap it) and that first drive after all the hard work I put into it was nothing short of a magical experience🤟
Just stumbled on to this video and man the way it sounds when you give it a little gas i love it. Cant wait to see the next video and final project on how this car comes out
My dream car! I love build videos and this one is literally from the ground up, from starting it after flooding let alone sitting for years!! Keep em coming! Can't wait to see the mods starting
hell yeah dude!! i’m hella happy for you guys i can’t wait for the build and i can’t believe it’s that low miles. an absolute beauty one of my dream cars, keep it up!
Wow guys, I didn't expect that. But I was expecting you to have enough gas in the car 🤣😂😂🙃. And I love trial-and-error videos, especially on n54s 😉. Have a great weekend. Dutch regards Nico.
Congrats, you got it running. I love watching people saving BMW'S. The e82's are my all-time favorite BMW'S. I am looking forward to your next videos. Keep up the good work 👏
@Jake Spence that's what I do. I buy bmw's that have issues and fix them. The last one I got done with was an X5. At some point in time, I'll get done with the e38 750. Really, all i really wanted on that was the v12. Just keep on fixing bmw's, and they will start to be easy for you.
Fantastic, can’t believe it’s running now, thought it might’ve been a fuel pump problem and I’m glad she just needed some gas, can’t wait for the next video, I love these!!
It really is! Feels good to have something like this pay off after putting in so much effort over the years. The channel was definitely struggling for views, but we're reviving the channel along with this little 135i!
Love the content, love the series. I can’t get enough. Once I get my 135 someday, I’m definitely going to refer to your videos to make sure what I’m installing and how I’m installing it is correct. Keep it coming man. Much luv.

Better late than never! Just uploaded last night, and you're only 2 videos behind. This is gonna be a fun series for sure. Good luck with your rebuild!
@@jake_spence Diego, you should. I did just that, thanks mainly to Jake's video. Hey Jake, would you consider making a video about how to best to solve for traction with these cars. They are getting more popular now and with 6-700hp being easily attainable these days, how do we keep the power down effectively? That's my next headache right after getting my single turbo conversion done. On my 335i I could just run wider tires but the options are limited on the e8x chasis
I can't be the only one who noticed that the car is dirtier in the last clip compared with the rest of the video heheh. Good sign! Keep it up Jake, I love this series. Proud of being seeing you grow. Cheers from Portugal :)
Stumbled across your Channel because I was looking at a 135i earlier I’m interested in. Been a euro lover for a while but a VW/Audi guy and gotta say I love the content lol
it might be running bad sometimes because you have no Lamda Sensors connected. also in my e90 theres something called NOX-Sensor for emissions (i think the 135i is kinda around the model year of my e90) back than many cars had that nox sensor with an aditional NOX-catalyst for emissions and also to improve fuel consumption. if this is missing that may lead to the engine running bad. im no expert pls dont roast me if im worng just my backjard-mechanics thoughts :) greetings form germany
Good info! We installed the downpipes with O2 sensors about half way through, and got her running good now. Once we get this transmission taken care of, we'll take her out!
That front port on the fuel pump should've gushed fuel out when popping off the fitting. Also that pump retainer ring was the easiest I've EVER seen come off!!!
I don’t know what it is about watching these videos of neglected bmws being restored back to life but I love ‘em
Me too, this has been a fun project for sure. Thanks for watching 🤝🏼
As a 135i owner, I'm so happy you're trying to save one and bring it back to life!
