LOL. When Jake said "Looks like they are similar to stock but 19T's or something" I laughed because they are NOT similar to the power of stock turbos at all. LOL. I have 17t's and they are a world apart from the stock ones! But you knew the coolant pump was shot when you started so you know it needs a water pump but the trans probably needs a solenoid kit and seals and it would be a;ll good oh and fluid of course. If you did this maintenance then you should try the 60 to 130 run! Love it with the N54 PLEASE DON'T SWAP OUT THIS CAR. Sorry Jake I can't deny my love for the N54. LOL. That's why I came to your channel in the first place.
I found that out as soon as I put the big pedal down lol. But yeah, I've got a surprise up my sleeve that should make the upcoming videos interesting... stay tuned!
These 19t's are pretty fast. The best way to replace the water pump is by mounting a full aluminum pump like INA(German OEM BMW brand) sells, or maybe a full aluminum US pump. The one with the plastic housing is no good, even the VDO's. Good luck guys, swapping this engine. Dutch regards Nico.

Great work on these Bimmers Jake, I just acquired a '10 335i n54. Traded a t boned 17 passat to a body shop for it that replaced a coil, plug, and injector but still misfiring (yeah just one cylinder). I'll finish the work based on your index 12's from Ebay video and report back after replacing aluminium water pump as well. I need to know though, at 129k miles can I expect these bmw motors to stay tight? You mention yours has valve cover gasket going, what about their head gaskets?

I feel sad after junking my 125k Fbo plasti-dipped e90 last year. Definitely ran better than this besides a fuel pump wiring gremlin-fairly easy fix. Only got $1800 because I had to sell it due to not having space to store it. 😢 one day I’ll own another clapped out 335i I guess 😂

idk if thats a 500whp car since my e90 is a 8.4 ish second 60-130 same mods essentially, Im on e30 upgraded hpfp and fuel line with a custom tune at ~20 psi idk the timing.

Good channel!! I live in Madison, WI and I have an idea for content. I currently have a 135 and 335 n55 powered cars. The 335 has spun rod bearing and has been setting since 2019. 135 is operational and has MHD 2+. Would you be interested in performing an engine swap on the 335? 135 not holding proper oil temp. When I turn on the heater, oil temp goes cold. It's going through 1 quart of oil every 500-600 miles. I want to address those issues and possibly do some preventative maintenance. The work could be performed at your location and I will assist or you walk me through it. I'm about a level 5 out of 10 mechanic. I will pay you. Let me know your thoughts.

stud conversion kits are a HORRIBLE idea. Many many complications caused by an improperly threaded stud. If you don't like lining up the hole buy a $5 wheel install pin (Burger sells them BMS)
We'll have to agree to disagree, lol. An improperly thread lug bolt would be the same thing. I'd rather set the stud one time correctly, then not have to worry about it again.
