Dude - As a 135I owner, I'm emotionally invested to see this thing run LOL! Fingers crossed and I'm here for the journey!
Haha, I'm glad I'm not the only one emotionally invested in this thing now! Thank you for watching man, I'm excited to get going on the next video for ya'll...
SAMEEEE BEO
@@jake_spence Dude this 135i was done dirty. I dreamed about having one of these when they were new. I'd kill to get it running again. They are such sweet cars. Hope you have great luck!
It's crazy to me how much you've invested into your original 1 series. And now, to do it all over again! It's awesome to watch. Coming from a fellow e82 135i owner, I know how much of a headache these things are. Thank you for the content Jake!
You're an OG man, thanks for the support. Glad to know the fellow 135i owners are ready for this series!
I rescued a salvaged 135i that was "repaired" by some absolute butchers. Took me months to make it truly road worthy, and I love that car now. I hope you can bring yours back to life.
As a 50+ year old guy, I really enjoyed this find! I think it will run for you! Good luck!
Glad to hear the content is enjoyable for all ages! Thanks for watching the channel, I appreciate the kind words.
love your vids, man. I hope you never stop making videos. I'm always excited to watch new uploads!
Love to see that your putting out regular uploads again, been missing the E82 content! Stay at it broski
Thanks Ricardo! I appreciate that. Feels good to making 1 series content again, without the OG 135i
You’re the reason I bought my 135i two and a half years ago, best decision I ever made, glad to see you posting again, hopefully this thing just fires right up!
As the former owner of a black 2009 128i and a red 2013 128i, this is awesome. One of my favorite BMW models of all time!!
Crazy man, you got a new subscriber!
Love and appreciate your job to get this car on the road again!
you got this, liked n watched the whole thing hope it pushes the vid through the algo n help you get some budget to work with good luck!
good luck brother !!! im here for the series !
This is going to be so fun to watch you tear through someone elses mess and the mystery behind it all. Its like CSI meets Fast and Furious.
Exactly what I was thinking! It's been fun already, I can't believe what kind of life this thing has lived...
That’s such a sweet video bro. Wishing you Gods blessings in getting this thing started
Good luck with getting this thing running! Definitely a very interesting history on this one!
Thanks RJ! Weird history, that's for sure.
interested to see what you do with the second 135, excited for you!
Good luck bro .. looks like a fun project
Awesome project guys! Looking forward to seeing more!
Favorite UA-camr thank you for coming back to us !!!!
I’m excited for this channel on what’s to come in the future!
Found this channel reccomended and glad I tapped in 🤝🏼 Absolutely fire bro 📛. Looking forward to the next upload 👏🏽💯
Great content....trying to revive old BMWs is fantastic to watch...good stuff. My 09' 135i is all stock...but it still rips.
Thanks! I'm really excited for this one. As you know, even in stock form, these things are a blast.
Love this style of content. What a score this would be if it fires up with the new parts. Flood cars are scary, looking forward to the next vid!
Love to hear that! I'm glad the extra effort I put into the film/edit is paying off for you guys. I'm excited to see what happens with this thing, we'll see soon...
Love the optimism Jake! Fingers crossed for you my brother
Please never stop with this series
Best of luck with the plug and run - looking forward to the follow up
Interior is beautiful, too!
Good luck.
Get the car running. Just think of the content. All 135i owners here can't get enough. Just glad you got all this content coming out. Keep up the great work.
Thanks John! I'm hoping the next episode will be a good one, going to see if I can get everything installed this weekend...
Another banger been loving the videos man keep it up you really have something good going here
Thanks Austin! I appreciate you
You have to get this car running! I'll be here for the whole series. Love the content Jake. Fellow 135i owner here (with the inferior n55, lol). Just replaced my vanos solenoids last weekend
I hope to have her running in the next video, we'll see! Thanks for following along man, love the group of 1-series enthusiasts we've got on this channel.
the n55 is far more reliable, get more mpg, cools better, sounds better, and is a better daily.
@@DigitalDissidentand yet it still falls short of the n54’s charm
Really excited for this series, hope you scored and she runs!
I'm excited too, and hoping for the same! We'll see... thanks for watching.
Another great video man! Can't wait to see the progress on this barn find. Seriously a crazy deal if it really has the mileage it says on the carfax, little manual swap action and you easily have a 20k+ car.
Thank you! I'm excited to see what we can do with it too... I'm not sure what it'd be worth or what I'll end up doing with it yet, but we'll find out soon 👀
Good luck Jake! Sounds like a gamble… hopefully it pays off for ya!!
I hope so too! I'm a gambling man, lol.
Awesome vid and awesome car! There is so much potential here!
Thanks again for being my garage buddy lately, couldn't be doing this without you! Now let's get this thing breathing again...
@@jake_spence no problem!! Its been fun! I look forward to seeing where both the 1’s go from here!
Wow! My wife has a 2015 228i x drive 89k- no issues, but parts are expensive. Saved money through bimmer world. We bought a gates brand new belt tensioner pulley assembly for $40 . But it’s nice that you all know how to work on it your selves. Save the labor.. can’t wait to see what happens..
Fun little project! Good luck!
Thank you! It should be a fun one to dive into.
Excited for part 2! Thumbs up from Portugal 🇵🇹😁💪🏻
Me too! Crazy that people around the world are watching 👋
Enjoying the new content bro, good to see you back
Thank you! Trying to make the best possible content I can for YT these days.
Dude this is sick and a cool start to a little series! Hopefully the motor is still good. Water damage is no joke. Fingers crossed bro!
Fingers crossed! I'm not sure what to expect being a flood car, like you said. But we'll see! Thanks for following along.
1:20 - 1:34 Eileen is going to take Larry Chen's job with that camera footwork.
Lmfao 😂 no kidding
This thing definitely needs saving and restoring. Keep the videos coming.
Hello from the UK 🇬🇧
Wow Hyped for the next build 😊
Great video Jake! Fingers crossed it fires up in the next video!
Crazy find man! Hope it runs that would be one heck of a deal!
Good luck with the car. I’ve been through something similar with a 328xi. Had to replace some, cas, fuse block, and some other things.
Great to see another 135 project 🙌👌
I'd change the oil, unplug the injectors then crank it if it runs to build some oil pressure before you start it. Also, check the fuel to see if there's any water in there.
Can't wait to see more of this 🙌
Checking if it is building oil pressure now makes no difference if the engine previously was abandoned due to an oil pump issue. I’d do this check after it runs considering the state of the car
I own a 128i… I hope you bring this BACK TO LIFE !!!
We are interested to see the progress and if it fires up. Good luck!!!!
Bro no matter what 2k and you have a parts car; you're winning for sure.
That's what I was thinking, worst case scenario I'd just part it out
Beyond excited to see how this car turns out!
This was such an interesting video, can’t wait for the next one!
Good luck you you I’m excited to see this beautiful 135i up and running again and then seeing it modded 😈
Just found ur channel, can't wait for the next video! Im fully invested to see what happens next!
Thanks Matt, welcome aboard!

Ill definetely watch this series. i hope itll run!

That's a nice find. Keep up the videos!
You smashed this video bro! Love it🔥 keep up the mad work 💪🏻
Thanks Jed! I appreciate that. Glad to hear the extra effort in this edit paid off...
Thank you Jed! I appreciate you following along, glad you enjoyed this one.

Literally just stumbled across this video while scrolling. Can't wait to see the next video🙌
I personally don't own a 135i, but I love my 123d🙏

What a random history this car has! Keep it up my dude
I know, makes you wonder what kind of life some other junkyard cars have lived. Never know what they've seen...
Hope this works out well for you! Best of luck from an 135i owner 😀
Thanks, I hope so too! 😎
Just found your channel. Good luck with this car!! I just picked up a e39 wagon from Copart so I can relate.
This is sweet, good luck!!!

Clapped out cheap bmw’s are always a great idea. Im definitely following along this series, I want to see this thing run.
It's cool man. Hope you get it runnin

This is a fun series, looking forward to seeing this run
Glad to hear it! Thanks for watching.
This is awsome. Can’t wait to see how this project goes along with the other 335 🤞🏻
You and me both, man! I'm so excited to have some projects.
Can’t wait to see this thing start! You got this!
😎Thank you Paul
I hope u have success reviving that bad boy.
This is awesome! FYI the negative terminal of that battery should have the date code stamped on it! The bottom numbers are the year and the top two are the month!
No way, never knew that. I'll have to check that out!
@@jake_spence take a look!
Great content, as always! Can't wait to see what happens next!
Thanks Shiv! Are you the OG Shiv Patel that set the manual N54 record way back? Lol
Another one ! These little e82s are beasts. Can’t wait for the next video 👍
Coming soon, I'm gonna get everything installed this weekend! Thanks for watching.
This car looks promising! Looking forward to seeing the progress
Thanks, I've got my fingers crossed!
116i owner but I find this entertaining and interesting. Now I'm invested on this, can't wait for the next video. Subscribed too.
This could be a great car, it could also be a nightmare. The Vanos solenoids being gone is a big problem since rust could then get all up inside the timing chain and down on the pump, which would be pretty bad. I highly recommend taking a boroscope around inside the timing cover at the front (probably take out the timing chain tensioner for a good view) and inside the cylinders to see what you're working with. Hoping for the best!!!
Yeah, I was bummed out when I saw they were gone. She's been exposed for who knows how long. Going to add cheap oil and see what happens lol.
There's a good chance whoever went through and ripped the DME, cats etc. out also pulled those, and if it was right before it got to you the damage could be minimal. Those solenoids are pretty crammed in the front and if the hood was left down, you have a really good chance I think.
Hope it runs. Looking forward to the next one
New subcriber from England, UK. Cant believe you found an 11000 mile 135i. Cant wait to see the next video to see if it starts.
Welcome aboard! Thanks for watching, I can't believe it either. We'll see if it works out...
I really hope you get it running, would be well-deserved and would also make a nice new project 👍🏻💪🏼
Thanks Loek! I'm hoping it runs. We'll see...
The car looks in good condition if the motor works what a steal brotha🤞🏻good luck
Can't wait to see how this pans out - good luck !!!
You and me both! Thank you 🙏
Good luck I hope it all works !! One for the good guys👍🏽👍🏽
Hey Jake I hope that new 135 doesn’t give you much trouble. Because of you I now want a 135 so bad. I’m holding out for the right deal. You have my support, I’m subscribed and love the content. Keep it coming. ❤
Thanks Eric, I appreciate that! You'll love your own 135i if you get one some day, keep holding out til the right one comes.
