  • This video provides the essential information about ceramic capacitors revealing their key specifications, characteristics, dielectrics, and other interesting and essential information.
    Ceramic capacitors form the mainstay of many electronic circuit designs. The leaded versions of these electronic components have a number slightly different formats, but in most cases they are reasonably similar. The surface mount versions are widely used in mass produced equipment. These SMT capacitors are very cheap and easy to manufacture and are seen on almost every mass produced printed circuit board assembly.
    The performance of the ceramic capacitors mean that these electronic components are ideal in a huge number of electronic circuit design applications. They are ideal for general decoupling and interstage coupling situations and they are also ideal for many RF designs. Their characteristics mean that they have low levels of spurious inductance, especially the surface mount capacitors. Often the SMT capacitors are used for frequencies up into the microwave region making them ideal for many wireless and other systems.

    Why on some pcb there is markings like C for capacitor and then there is RC for same looking capacitor but on multimetar on continuity they beep and show 0 value??
