Sir , I removed a tiny ceramic capacitor that overheated on the motherboard , when I check it with the multimeter I get no reading at all , no buzz . when I try ohmeter , same thing , nothing displayed on multimeter . could a dead ceramic capacitor not buzzing when, and displays nothing on multimeter screen ?

Very important for troubleshooting: Inject voltage into the mainboard using the external power supply! How is this done without causing a short circuit? Where exactly must or can you inject the current? And how much?
I mean injecting electricity so that the defective components get hot and you can locate them!
