Great questions! So I’m 90% confident with the car driving itself. Reason I’m not at 100 is because you do have your moments where the car senses something that’s not there and it applies the break which totally catches you off guard. I drive 160 miles each day and most of the most miles I’m on autopilot.
As for the hands free, about every 30 seconds or so the car wants you to apply slight pressure to the steering wheel to make sure you’re focused on the road and awake or alert. It’s usually a very light hands on the wheel, so I just apply pressure with my knee most of the time. So I’m not using my knee the whole trip lol, only when the car wants me to apply slight pressure to the steering wheel to make sure you’re alert.
do you feel 100 pct confident and comfortable when you use FSD?
and also how were you hands free so long during vid, using your knee?
