I love Tesla. One of my favorite shows growing up in the ‘80s was Knight Rider. I always wanted a talking car , drives itself and a TransAm so I got the next best thing. Refreshed M3 LR. My car’s name is KITT and the lock sound is KITT’s scanner. It’s freaking awesome 😂😂
If you are at home, it will take you to work. Most other times it will take you home. Though sometimes randomly it takes me to work instead, not sure why.
The Park feature is just to apply the brakes harder. When you put your Tesla on Park, it applies the parking brakes to hold it since there is no transmission to hold it. If you use the Park option by holding down the Park, it will apply the brakes harder which is very useful when you park on an incline.
thanks, love the video, I got to say, though I was surprised with the left button being the glove box for you because I never open up the glove box only if I get pulled over.
Ill have to check my left scroll wheel.. also. Had no idea about the shortcut to apply parking brake! I thought the car did it automatically if it sensed the need for it. Thanks for all the great info!
Just got mine last Thursday, and the very next day, the teenager parked the car halfway in the garage, and the other opened the trunk, and BAM, nice new scratch. I too will be getting a spoiler soon!
Spoiler is expensive and tends to not stick so well. I put some pool noodles on inside of the garage door and if the rear hatch opens too high, it hits them, not the door. I still have the height set not to hit the door.
Oh no! We're getting one for our Y from Tesery. We got a spoiler from them for our model 3 and it's held up great and looks OEM. Discount code vegastesla will save you 10% there! :)
My tesla model 3 highland's hidden feature is the AP4 computer shorting 1 month after delivery and me waiting for tesla service to order the piece & replace it. And now having a 50k car which has no camera's, no sensors, no lane assist, no cruise control, no rain-based window whipers (yes, they work by camera) and navigation (no idea again what this has to do with the AP4 computer) so the map navigation blocks and shows my last car position from before it failed. So yes, if you want to experience what it is to have a car like it was build 50 years ago then sure, this is a a nice feature. If you think this is just a random rant, google AP4 Computer short.
@@vegasteslafamily It's not a very rare thing. You can search "Tesla AP4 computer short" and find alot of people with the same result (cars 2 weeks to 2 months old). When I read posts on teslamotorclub people in the US, Spain, Netherlands, ... have the same issue
And now I would like to be able to DISABLE autopilot sounds. I don't need my car to beep at me for enabling/disabling cruise control. And, worse, lower my volume every time it makes a beep.

@@vegasteslafamily You may not be sure of the issue, but this Maine driver is! The only way to keep a car parked on a snow, icy incline is big wheel chocks, or tie the EV to a solid object!
FYI, having the Tesla widget on your home screen (iOS) "allegedly" wakes up the car a lot more so you may experience more battery drain when parked and not plugged in. Which makes sense because it may need to poll the car more often to refresh the widget data.
Jojo my car has a full ppf wrap. I have done that mistake twice. When I put my bike rack on I back up to the garage. Someone tweet Elon to make that geofenced so it only goes up as high as you want in a location. The jojo mode
Not a stupid mistake my dear. A simple easy to make mistake that a lot of people have made. Plus IF the car is wrapped it probably saved the paint and they can just rewrap the trunk portion and it will be as if it never happened.
@ You should have Hulu. I know Elon got some beef with Disney and took that app away from some cars but mines never went away. And I have a 23 Model 3. Barely over a year old

1:22 Parking brake come on automatically when put into park. There is no need to manually do it. Whenever my friends are around my car, I love to make it fart or I say embarrassing things through the mic, lol.
That's what I read but looking more into it its seems to be a bit confusing. Looks like an older version of the manual says its automatic but the current one does not mention it. Since the parking brake is loud, it should be able to prove easily with 2 people, or one person and a camera to hear if the parking brakes engages when the car is put into park.
