You are amazing! Mashallah. Every time I watch you I think your family must be proud of you. You are hard working and smart doctor lady. Cheers from London.
Thank you for addressing the issue. - why don't more products contain Elastin? Elastin is a game changer in lines and wrinkles. Elastin is what makes the skin snap back when the skin is pinched. It's so difficult to find skin care products with Elastin!
Will you please do an in-depth video regarding melasma and what ingredients work best, and also, what percentage of hydroquinone is typically recommended? I stopped getting my Tretinoin (and early on, compounded with hydroquinone) through an online dermatologist and now get it through my regular doctor. But I stopped the hydroquinone because it was time for the cycle I was on to end. But it’s been about 9 months now since I’ve been on hydroquinone and I need to get it prescribed again with my tret. If you have any suggestions regarding the typical percentage of hydroquinone so I can let my doctor know, I’d greatly appreciate it:)❤ Thank you so much Dr Idriss!
Dr , please do a detailed video on hydroquinone regime. All the derms I have consulting with are dead against hq here in Pakistan. Can you please tell how to use it off and on , as you mentioned here. Thanks
@PrototypeM I used HQ for 18 months and yes😆 it's a gold standard for melasma. Unfortunately my skin got irritated bad with HQ and my doctor's assistant kept telling to continue using it. It left me with a burn scar because of HQ. My new doctor put me on Azelaic acid with kojic acid and niacinamide mix prescription which has helped my melasma to 80% or so. Another thing, some people don't see any difference with Azelaic acid. I had no choice but to put my trust and go from there. I swear my case was hopeless.
@@SG-wq4rm thanks for your kind reply, 18 months, wow ! That's way too long to keep on it. Mostly it's just 3 months max and then slowly stop. Honestly I never had any luck with Azelaic acid, not even with post inflammatory hyperpigmentation marks left by pimples, even though I have prescription 20% skinoren cream one. Dr Idrees at the end of this short is saying she uses HQ for very short intervals too after she sees melasma faring up or something, so I am keen to know about this method of using HQ.
Thank you for sharing! 💕 I would like to know what retinol product and tretinoin prescription product (what brand) do you recommend for hyperpigmentation on the face or body?
I had been using the Major Fade System and daily sunscreen with really good results! Brighter complexion, fading of sun spots and freckles. Then I started HRT. All sun spots and discoloration came back, full force. I continued using Major Fade, faithfully along with sunscreen, faithfully, for quite a while, several weeks. It didn't make a difference. The discoloration continued. At this point I felt like I was throwing money down the drain so stopped using the Major Fade System. Disappointed. If and when I discontinue HRT I will start using these products again.
I just love how efficient Hydroquinone is but I am allergic to it! Got huge reaction twice so never used again! Any piece of advice and suggestion for a fast and efficient replacement? 🙏
Would you review the Nira Precision & Nira Pro Laser, for home use? I so appreciate all your advice & facts about skin care that you share with us! Thank you in advance.😁👍
Does your product line work on sun/age spots, too? We really want a video on sun spots. You focus on melasma a lot, and I think you said they are two different things??
Omg I'm going to Sephora tomorrow for my birthday and I'm absolutely getting the roller product from your brand . I didn't know you are in Sephora!!!! Woot woot
Her Depuffer roller is amazing! I use it every morning after my Vitamin C serum has dried down some. It's lasting a long time, too. And I'll definitely be repurchasing when it's gone. :)
IF we do use hydroquinone for maintenance, can we still use your entire line together? I take 2 months off of HQ and want to restart again, but I’m enjoying your major fade line. I’d like to use in combination.
yes those a PIH if they’re from acne but if you had them for years i’d probably see a derm there’s a chance the pigment could be deeper or even dermal if you have had specific meds or had a lot of sun expose with out protection it could be dermal so if see a derm or get a chemical peel 👍
Dear doctor you made a video saying hydroquinone is not the villain but we have heard if we use it once like for two months we need to be cycling it forever. Is this true ? As people online claim that once they stopped hydroquinone the melasma came back worse
yes it would but how recent was the burn and how severe plays a role.. If it’s healed fully then yes and using creams for inflammation like zinc rash cream like DR.I uses can help as well and apply sunscreen (just as long as it’s fully healed w no sensitivity)
When derms want you to believe they achieve their skin because of their products 😂 Let’s be real she can achieve that skin and is not necessary because of her skin care products Radio frequency, red led light mascs, Botox , tretinoid Etc I’m not saying her products don’t work I’m just saying if you want achieve her skin you are gonna need more that just that hyperpigmentation treatment

do you have to use All 8 products? that seems like a lot.

I throw everything at my sun spot hyperpigmentation to keep it down to a dull roar. If I slack off it comes right back again.
