As time went on, my face lost its glow, acquired dark spots and blemishes that appeared to multiply despite my efforts with various skincare routines.
After researching a lot, I finally got litttleextra rice berry face serum and began applying it beneath my sunscreen. Weeks passed, and the serum started to work its magic. The spots slowly faded away, showing a smooth and more even-toned complexion.
Apart from this, I began cleaning my face thrice a day. Next, I started drinking about six glasses of water daily. I made an effort to eat less junk food, and I started engaging in physical activities to I could have a wonderful sweat on my face. All this worked, and I got a nice glow on my face.

It’s excellent for sensitive skin, it has great quality, and its smell is so good. After using it, it doesn’t leave my skin oily and maintains skin hydration consistently. I really enjoy using this ricebery face serum.

I dab it on the spots that are darker and create a sort of dot mask on my face and leave it on for like 5 minutes then I rub them in, let it absorb and then slather on that sunscreen. I'm glad it seems young people have got the message about sun exposure. We didn't know about the damage it does until I had already ruined my skin with tanning. I have spent many thousands of dollars on trying to repair it, incuding facelift, red light treatments, skin cancer treatments, topical meds, and laser procedures. Finally I have my skin looking much better, but prevention is a better idea! From now on I am wearing sunscreen every day of the year, as well using retiniod, and regular derm appointments to monitor for future cancers.

Thank you for this video and the other last one you did! Im Hispanic light skinned 33 turning 34 this year. I’ve had it since my 25’s I have 2 boys 10 & 11. This has me very depressed!! I have sooo many skin care products high end and cheaper and nothing works.. its to the point where I don’t want to go anywhere just to work and back home. I’ve also bought vitamins and 👎 btw you are sooo beautiful 💕

Dr. Idriss, I’m assuming we can use all these ingredients together in a routine? How can we layer them properly for the best effect? And can all of these be used in a routine with tretinoin? Thanks 🤍

You’re fabulous!! Could you, would you please put those products in order of how to use for max benefit?
Your suggestions are key for me. You’re why I got Hydroquinone and you’re more informed than my Dermatologist! She didn’t tell me Hydroquinone could not be used indefinitely.😳
I’m currently using Retin-A and just got the Hydroquinone. Would you please tell me how to use the Retin-A and the Hydroquinone together?
Should I use azalaic acid as well? Or maybe during the 2-mo off period.
I was overwhelmed by the many choices and not sure how to proceed. Thank you!!🙏♥️

Hi!! Great video. I already incorporate most of these ingredients in my routine and I still have a lot of stubborn pigmentation. I've been reading a lot about the benefits of Silymarin and would like to integrate the ingredient into my routine, most articles cite the Skincuticials product, unfortunately that's wildly out of my budget, can you please recommend a few other products at a more accessible price point? Thank you!!!!

I have Psoriasis and I find it so difficult to weigh my options. What is your opinion on Cortisol vs light-therapy. I definitely prefer light-therapy as the Psoriasis fades faster, but I’m scared of both of my options when it comes to longterm effects.
Also I absolutely love your videos, they are so incredibly informative! xx

Can you use azelaic acid for sunspot ( I think you mentioned previously there was a different mechanism for it for melasma ?
Can you spot treat dark spot with hydroquinone instead of the whole face?
