I’m not going to lie, I got choked up a few times while making this video. I hope you all enjoy what I had to say. It means a lot to me. As soon as I get situated, you’ll be seeing a lot more of me. Until then, take care, Solo Knights!
    Sincerely,

Something I didn’t expect was feeling the way I’m feeling. When I saw the house cleared out, all those memories just came pouring in.
I’m not going anywhere! I love this hobby and I really enjoy sharing it with you and everyone else. Thanks for the support!

Beautiful video! When my grandmother died, I cried every single day for 2 years straight, but I remembered what makes old people amazing is their ability to continue being happy after a lifetime of losing others. Your grandmother would be proud of you for choosing happiness!❤️

Thank you so much, Chris. Loss is very tough and very difficult to overcome. I think that sharing stories with one another really helps not only heal but understand that we are all the same. We hurt, we cry and we push forward. Experiences we go through can help others when they go through it.
At the end, the memories we shared with our loved ones lives on forever!

Felt my heart drop when I saw the title. Huge relief to hear that you’re not abandoning the channel 💚 it’s wild how emotional we can get over simple board games, but they create memories that stick with us through life. Hope you’re doing well!

Board games do create great memories. For me, what brought me into board games is what really makes them memorable.
I ended up keeping the table. I couldn’t get myself to get rid of it (almost did). The move is done but the road to organizing everything has just begun. Hope to see you soon! Take care.

I just found your channel today (the top 10 solo board games list). Your enthusiasm is genuine and shines through. You mentioned that one of the reasons for getting into board games was something to do with your kids that wasn’t video games. Have you heard of the podcast “The Family Gamers”? The parents do the podcast. They talk about the games they play with their 3 kids, and about playing with your family in general, but their kids usually don’t talk much on the show - maybe in a Snap Review. I’m not affiliated with the show, I’ve just been listening to them for years and think that they’re a good resource for anyone wanting to play board games with kids. Best wishes!

Unfortunately, my kids are in the stage where high school and work have become a big part of their lives. 3 years can change a lot!
With that written, I’ll definitely check out The Family Gamers. It’s always nice to see and hear what the board gaming community thinks about board games!
Thank you for commenting! It means a lot! Take care.

Here’s some advice, never introduce your kids to those things in the first place. 😉 You’ll thank me later. Thanks for stopping by. I’ve been watching your videos and you’ve been doing pretty good over there. Keep it up!

I think it’s cool hearing about the game that got people into the hobby. It didn’t go downhill, it went uphill but each step you took cost more than the previous step. No, you’re right. For our wallets, it went downhill. 😂

Yeah man the most I have spent was 1,200 in one go to get the whole Arcadia and starcadia quest ks all in bundles. Don’t regret it. They are fun. Although solo is a bit light as they are semi coop mainly. I still enjoy them. The goofy ness and the gameplay is fun.

@@boardsandstuff5008 I hear you. Too Many Bones was the first board game that got me to spend more than $100. You enjoy it and that’s all that matters. There are worst ways to spend money and at least this way, it lasts forever.
