Yeah one of the best, Stella's cinnamon buns are great too, but they often run out fast. I live in a dump now known as Montreal where I think they have out law cinnamon buns here. I even worked at a bakery and they didn't know what they were.
How come in Montreal you will never find a cinnamon bun no matter how hard you look. I've been searching for 3 years since coming back to here and yet to find a single cinnamon bun anywhere.here it is literally impossible. I even worked a a bakery and they didn't make them either. Must by an English food! That said a few my favorite Forks things is a coffee from that place or the one in the Johnson terminal too. Bindey's roti, breakfast and the pink lemonade at Danny's All Day, and those cinnamon buns from Prairie something bakery or whatever it's called! I like Stellas in nearby St.B for a cinnamon bun and coffee too, but I am glad they are not at the Forks as they have many good locations all around Winnipeg and I like to see diversity at the Forks.
I'm going with my fiance to Winnipeg next year for studying reasons and finding your channel was just amazing! I watched almost all your videos about the city and enjoyed a lot! Thank you guys! You earned a new follower! 💯

@@charliehidalgoz We actually live in Osborne Village and love it. Everything you need is here - though we would love to see some new restaurants pop up - and it's a great hub for commuting around the city. It's also a great walking neighbourhood.

The north end has its problems, but it also has a brighter future than any of the newer suburbs in Winnipeg, which are all far less sustainable and have far less flexibility in how their land and buildings can be used. Don't let the fact that poor people live in one place and rich people live in the other fool you.

Winnipeg is friendly to tourists and overall the people are chill unlike Montreal. As person who speaks just some French (poorly) moving to Montreal is kinda insane. They discriminate again anglophones daily and systematically and institutionally as well. So do not move to Montreal, it is horble, I have a BA and on welfare. If you don't speak exactly like the Quebecois they will not hire you unless it is to do a low-end job that has no movement upwards. Even then the francophones here just personally discriminate against the english speakers. The government harms education institutions and do not give any funding to anything anglophone. These things are human rights violation that Justin Trudeau supports, gee I wonder why? So, I plan to move away and get a job in real Canada. Do not even come to Montreal for travel, they are rude here towards tourists. Plus, Montreal is always grey, and it rains nearly everyday or snows nearly everyday. The cement is a dark grey lime stone many of the old building made of the same dull grey to add to the glummy look. Infrastructure is horrible and the city is always a mess. You will see garbage everywhere like the 1970 Bronx. The mayor makes phony promises and has made this city in one big traffic jam increasing CO2 and other vehicle related pollution by placing unnecessary bike lanes along streets that simple do not need them. Some of the bike lanes are good don't get me wrong, but many are nonsense causing huge traffic jams and are not used much. She can't get anything real done because of Mr. Legault and the CAQ party that is against her and most of Montreal. If maybe this city was separated from the rest of Quebec maybe it could improve, but that could be a few decades yet. One day it will happen though as most Montreallers do not align with that type of government and it is absolutely impossible to now change out the CAQ, as they have support across the rest of the province. So unless you enjoy living in dirt, without a job, dicrimtated openly against by the government and harassed daily by people then I suggest not coming to Montreal.

For indoor activities we were also able to keep physically distanced from others, and what interactions we had were very brief. The Forks and Inn at the Forks do good jobs of ensuring their customers are well separated. We did, of course, have our masks for any occasion where physical distancing wasn't possible. Thanks again!

Bike rentals, canoe rentals, water taxis, tour boats. In the winter, skate rentals for the river trail. It's a people place. Truly a gem.

We went to the Forks last weekend and it was lovely. Things were re-opening and we really enjoyed ourselves. If you can get there we recommend it! 😁
