That women must be the owner. She clearly is unfamiliar with what goes on there, but was tutored beforehand. She doesn't even know what the meats are... and used one utensil for two different things. She owns, she doesn't serve. And I bet she's murder to work for too.
Khanh Hoa had very good subs before 2018, the best of the best. But they changed the ownership afterward and it tastes average. Not phenomenal like CBC said.
The Cold Cut Sub looks like it might taste like the classic The Colossal subs at Co-op, which I am fond of. Great segment!
The name of the restaurant is Khánh Hòa.
Located on 834 Notre Dame Ave.
Thought it was Notre Dame. I pass by there before work. I'll have to try it one day
I’m sold but I live in Florida 😭
Winnipeg would welcome you… cheapest vacation you’ll take!

I prefer a hot toastie rather than banh mi. I'm not sure but I never liked pho or banh mi. I love broken rice though!
Just looks basic Bahn mi to me...best sandwich in the world?? cmon, this must be a paid promotion
Jeez man, the least you could do is mention the name of the restaurant.

Geez, the things the CBC promotes… garbage. what a waste of taxpayers money.
Perhaps it's people who spent on "local" and no locals are not only whites and natives.
