I used to be a yo-yo dieter until i went WFPB six years ago. I was able to lose 35 kilos and have not put it back on. I initially began to but as soon as I realised, no I cant just eat as many potatoes or rice as I wanted and that I needed to up my veg and protein, I got back on track and never looked back. We have to see it as a lifestyle rather than a diet to lose weight only. I love this way of eating and do not want to get sick due to my food choices. I eat like you and I am never hungry. I dont eat between meals. I also strength train after realising that a healthy diet is not enough. I am 55 😮 Love you chanel. I made your mango and tofu ninja ice cream and looking forward to having some.
I'm very happy to hear that you've found what works for you! We all have to go through our own experience sometimes to figure out what works. Yes whole foods plant based diet combined with strength training is the best way to ensure we're all aging gracefully and maintaining strength/muscle mass. You're doing great!
Thank you Neesha for all the points that you mentioned, and thank you for letting us know which calculator to use. Love your channel and your tips and recipes 🙌
I’m a new subscriber and am very interested in your content. Can you do a video soon about a thorough/proper exercise regimen for a beginner? Like maybe what a week should look like? I’m finally getting to a place where I’m excited to get my body healthier (specifically thinking of overall lean muscle mass) but have never really been into exercising. I literally don’t even know of what a good routine looks like! I’d love to start to try to emulate a physique like yours - very inspiring 💪 (on more beginner scale for me thoigh 😅)
Welcome!! So happy to have you here. I can definitely try to post beginner friendly workout in near future. Not sure if others would be interested in that on my channel. However, not sure if you went through my shorts on my channel. I have posted many beginner friendly workout routine in my shorts. Please go through "home workouts" playlist on my channel to get some ideas.
So helpful, thank you so much for this! I needed this after losing 10 pounds. I need to figure my maintenance calories and obviously keep up my workout regimen. I'm scared of losing all my progress, and it seems that adjusting calories up to maintenance from a deficit is the best way.
I'm very happy to hear you found this video helpful. Don't be scared. Keep at your healthy habits around nutrition, daily step counts and exercise regimen along with other things I mentioned in this video and you'll be just fine. Maintenance is fun! This is where we can continue to make more improvements with our body composition without being "so restrictive". Enjoy this phase. You worked hard to get here. This is where we thrive :)
Thank you! I mostly wear lululemon align joggers but you can find very similar ones on Amazon as well. They're linked in my amazon Affiliate links under description box of each UA-cam video.
U r very thorough ! 🙏❤️
Glad to hear that! I want to make sure my message is clear & easy to understand 😊

Wonderful tips all around! Do you practice reset weeks? And if so, do you have any information on reset weeks?
