Hey Friends, In this video I show you that eating healthy meals doesn't have to be complicated. Simple meals are the way to go to save time in the kitchen while staying on track with your health and fitness goals. I'm curious to know if you enjoyed today's video and my workout I shared at the end of this video? Let me know what are some of the obstacles you face on your health and fitness journey in the comments below?
Nisha, please never be embarrassed to share your journey and wealth of knowledge! You are a rockstar! I wish I found you prior to paying 2500 for 3 months of training with someone else. I also wish I had the confidence to use the equipment @ a gym. I literally get anxiety. Thank you for all you do
Aww thank you so much. You're too kind. Oh my goodness sorry to hear you had to pay $$ for training. However having a trainer in the beginning of your fitness journey is a great way to go as you want to learn to perform exercises safely and with proper form. Its an investment you're making in yourself! It's well worth spending the $ in my opinion. Maybe I'm being biased as a trainer 😉 Everyone is trying to better themselves at the gym, you should never feel embarrassed or ashamed. Confidence will come as you stay consistent and keep going :)
Thanks for sharing your workout! I really enjoyed learning more about weights. Your meal ideas are perfect for something quick yet healthy. Simply perfect
Nothing to feel embarrassed about, I love realistic content and I eat a lot more simple then you. The easier, the better. Your motivational talk really helps to motivate me to keep working out and to stay on track with healthy food. I need that support. Thank you so much. 💚
I enjoyed watching you lift! I'm 48 years old and have been training 2-3x a week in the gym most of this year. I like seeing the exercises you do. And I always like watching your food 😊. Thanks!
I told you before you are unique and an all rounder. Many you tubers do either food or training and hence many fall in the trap of just needing one and not the other (of course in addition to sunshine, good sleep etc) . I appreciate your videos and look forward to them. I love simple and can imagine that most watching do too. ❤ I made a similar rice in the Instant pot and was also yummy. Once we eat this way for so long (been 6 years for me now), our taste buds change to simple too 😊 If ever am stuck, a salad with a splash of olive oil and sea salt please me. I make it while tofu is cooking in the air fryer.
Thank you so much for your encouragement. I appreciate you. Happy to hear you also enjoy simple meals and you're absolutely right...your taste buds to change a lot once you eat lot less processed food and more simple wholesome meals :)
Steel cut carrot oats sounds amazing, Nisha! That's more than just basic, LOL. Thanks for the idea. I'm definitely going to try that out, sometime soon.
Great video, thank you for sharing. Your explanation of the exercises you do was very helpful; thanks for including that. I like your quick meals; I've tried several of them and they are delicious. I struggle with fatigue from menopause so it can be hard to find the energy to exercise sometimes.
Thank you for watching and I'm happy to hear you enjoy my meals. :) I can understand low energy can be challenging during menopause. Perhaps its good to get your hormones tested and possibly see what you can take to improve your energy levels. Hoping all this goes away soon and you feel like yourself again very soon. Hang in there.♥
Loved seeing your workouts and thanks for the tips and describing the benefits of each one 🙌 it is always good to have some simple recipes for those busy days 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Neesha, I discovered your channel yesterday and already watched a few of your videos. Thank you so much for sharing all your knowledge with us, it's very much appreciated! You have a new subscriber! Hi from Edmonton 🤗
Great video! Your Goodlife location looks so much better than mine! I haven't seen one with natural light....such a difference. Just discovered your channel and found the other video referenced super helpful. New subscriber!
Welcome 🤗 I am happy to have you here! Yes natural lighting at the gym makes a huge difference. I am lucky that this gym has lots of windows all around. Happy to know you’re working out as well! 💪
I just started watching you today and have already learned so much!!! Thank you for all you share! Fantastic! Love the workout too. Will try the 777 today.
Sure can do. There are lot of home workout videos under my "Home workout videos" playlist. Most of these videos are UA-cam Shorts. But I will try to incorporate long format ones from home as well in near future. Thanks for watching.
Nice video. Thanks for including the workout in the video. I’m always interested in seeing some different strength exercises . You were mentioning your supplements in this video. I don’t know if I missed it , but do you take an Omega 3 supplement? I currently take an algae Omega 3 myself.
I'm happy to hear you enjoyed watching my workout. Currently I'm not taking any omega 3 supplement. I try to eat ground flax seeds daily to get my omega or sometimes I'll add walnuts to my oats.
I always make my own tofu sriracha mayo with soft silken tofu. Recipe is linked in the description box of this video :) Glad to hear you enjoyed this video 😍
Hi. I find all your videos interesting. Tjank you. I recently switched to a mostly vegan diet ( homemade yogurt with dairy milk). I need to meal prep for the week and adding protein without too many carbs or calories is a challenge. Having tofu every day feels very repetitive. If possible, can you have some meal ideas without tofu.
Thank you! Nice to hear you're doing mostly plant based meals. I personally love tofu, so its my go to protein source! You can flavor tofu in so many ways in each recipe. This video was mostly about quick meals that I whip up to stay on track, that's why I used tofu for lunch/dinner. I already have plenty of other high protein meal ideas on my channel that don't have tofu. Feel free to take a look around but I will try adding different protein sources in my future videos :) Thanks for your suggestion and watching!
I don’t have any concerns when I add protein powder to my cooked oats. I usually turn off the stove and add it at the very end. I have also baked with protein powder and it’s fine for me. Perhaps different brands vary but Sproutliving works great for me! 🙂
This air fryer is awesome. Tons of space. It’s called typhur. I talk more about this air fryer, its features in the video I linked here . You can save 10% off using my discount code which is in the first comment of this video. ua-cam.com/video/CxdVeseIk7w/v-deo.htmlsi=WkKKiWEDmcTKBVeW
You should be taking creatine daily. By Taking creatine daily, including on non-lifting days, helps maintain creatine stores, ensuring that your muscles are always ready to perform optimally during your workouts. Plus creatine aids in muscle recovery. By taking it on rest days you’re supporting on going muscle repair and growth.
What is your height? I’m trying to make sense of how much calories you eat. I am 5’3”, and I struggle getting that much protein with only 1200 calories. It’s basically one meal, and all protein, nothing else to get 100g of protein.
Even at your height, 1200 is very limited! Are you exercising and weight lifting which should helps raise your metabolism so you can eat more and improve your body composition.
I am 5'5. 1200 calories do not seem like a lot to build any lean muscle mass. You need to eat more calories to build any decent amount of muscle. If your goal is to build muscle, perhaps stick to your maintenance calories instead of being in a calorie deficit. I'm saying this without knowing how long you've been training (if you're a beginner/intermediate etc), your age and current weight and your goals!

Love the workout at the end, please more workout content. Thanks
I love basic “use up” kind of meals. Sometimes a combination doesn’t occur to you as “hey that can be a meal” until you see someone else do it.
Usually those types of meals turn out pretty good. don't they!? :)

Do you make lunch for your kids to take to school? I know it is off topic but I was just wondering.
Yes I do! My little one is picky. He doesn't always like what I eat. So I always have to make him something separate :) Joys of being a mom 😉
Can you please explain about heating up the protein powder in your oats? I thought it breaks down and clumps up and not recommended
