    Hey Friends, In this video I show you that eating healthy meals doesn't have to be complicated. Simple meals are the way to go to save time in the kitchen while staying on track with your health and fitness goals. I'm curious to know if you enjoyed today's video and my workout I shared at the end of this video? Let me know what are some of the obstacles you face on your health and fitness journey in the comments below?

    Nisha, please never be embarrassed to share your journey and wealth of knowledge! You are a rockstar! I wish I found you prior to paying 2500 for 3 months of training with someone else. I also wish I had the confidence to use the equipment @ a gym. I literally get anxiety. Thank you for all you do

      Aww thank you so much. You're too kind. Oh my goodness sorry to hear you had to pay $$ for training. However having a trainer in the beginning of your fitness journey is a great way to go as you want to learn to perform exercises safely and with proper form. Its an investment you're making in yourself! It's well worth spending the $ in my opinion. Maybe I'm being biased as a trainer 😉 Everyone is trying to better themselves at the gym, you should never feel embarrassed or ashamed. Confidence will come as you stay consistent and keep going :)

    I told you before you are unique and an all rounder. Many you tubers do either food or training and hence many fall in the trap of just needing one and not the other (of course in addition to sunshine, good sleep etc) . I appreciate your videos and look forward to them. I love simple and can imagine that most watching do too. ❤ I made a similar rice in the Instant pot and was also yummy. Once we eat this way for so long (been 6 years for me now), our taste buds change to simple too 😊 If ever am stuck, a salad with a splash of olive oil and sea salt please me. I make it while tofu is cooking in the air fryer.

    Hi. I find all your videos interesting. Tjank you.
    I recently switched to a mostly vegan diet ( homemade yogurt with dairy milk). I need to meal prep for the week and adding protein without too many carbs or calories is a challenge. Having tofu every day feels very repetitive. If possible, can you have some meal ideas without tofu.

    • @MrsSlimOnPlants
      @MrsSlimOnPlants  17 днів тому

      Thank you! Nice to hear you're doing mostly plant based meals. I personally love tofu, so its my go to protein source! You can flavor tofu in so many ways in each recipe. This video was mostly about quick meals that I whip up to stay on track, that's why I used tofu for lunch/dinner. I already have plenty of other high protein meal ideas on my channel that don't have tofu. Feel free to take a look around but I will try adding different protein sources in my future videos :) Thanks for your suggestion and watching!

    Can you please explain about heating up the protein powder in your oats? I thought it breaks down and clumps up and not recommended

    • @MrsSlimOnPlants
      @MrsSlimOnPlants  13 днів тому +1

      I don’t have any concerns when I add protein powder to my cooked oats. I usually turn off the stove and add it at the very end. I have also baked with protein powder and it’s fine for me. Perhaps different brands vary but Sproutliving works great for me! 🙂

    Wondering
    Does it make sense to take Creatine on days when you don’t work out? 🤔

    • @MrsSlimOnPlants
      @MrsSlimOnPlants  15 днів тому +2

      You should be taking creatine daily. By Taking creatine daily, including on non-lifting days, helps maintain creatine stores, ensuring that your muscles are always ready to perform optimally during your workouts. Plus creatine aids in muscle recovery. By taking it on rest days you’re supporting on going muscle repair and growth.

    What is your height? I’m trying to make sense of how much calories you eat. I am 5’3”, and I struggle getting that much protein with only 1200 calories. It’s basically one meal, and all protein, nothing else to get 100g of protein.

    • @jaminwaite3867
      @jaminwaite3867 17 днів тому +3

      Even at your height, 1200 is very limited! Are you exercising and weight lifting which should helps raise your metabolism so you can eat more and improve your body composition.

    • @MrsSlimOnPlants
      @MrsSlimOnPlants  17 днів тому +1

      I am 5'5. 1200 calories do not seem like a lot to build any lean muscle mass. You need to eat more calories to build any decent amount of muscle. If your goal is to build muscle, perhaps stick to your maintenance calories instead of being in a calorie deficit. I'm saying this without knowing how long you've been training (if you're a beginner/intermediate etc), your age and current weight and your goals!
