Years ago I never once thought I'd consider buying a car that costs in excess of $200K, and then Porsche released the 2021 911 Turbo S. Some day I will have one of these beauties sitting in my driveway and bringing a huge smile to my face every time I drive it!

The interior options for Porsche's these days really are class. Lamborghini has options, and Lexus has some incredible quality, but damn Porsche have good tones.
I think Porsche did a great job incorporating modern day technology while maintaining a timeless n sleek exterior and interior. All these cars with huge tv screens inside must be a headache to look at at some point. But this car is iconic!!

I know it’s impressive to even contain yourself with a car like this. This thing does 0-60 in 2.5 seconds, you can only unlock the true performance of this car on a track, attempting to do such things on public roads would make you a true menace to society.
There’s nothing else like it. It is a masterpiece. You cannot understand it until you actually get behind the wheel. All the people complaining about the sound have obviously never heard it in person let alone heard one with an exhaust lol. You can hear it coming from a mile away. Quickest ICE car from 0-60. There might be some electric cars that are quicker but once you hit the turn or corner, this will catch up. Feels like it’s digging claws into the road when going in and out of turns no matter how quickly you take them.
I’ve always said with the Porsche 991 Turbo S you pay for the experience, quality and of course performance. McLarens may be fast and exhilarating and that’s just about it. You can tell by their market deprecation. I’ve seen McLarens in person at meets and let me say for $300k the quality is not great at all. Porsches are on a whole new level.
My favourite part of these videos, is Topher laughing every time he revs the engine for the first time or ventures into the high RPM's, always puts a smile on my face as well haha.

I truly believe there is no other perfect daily driver than the Turbo S, it has everything you need. Porsche engineering is top notch. Before you reply, I’m aware that the Model S Plaid exists, but there’s way more to a car than just straight line speed.
Lol funny you say that! I actually own both the Plaid and a Turbo S and believe me the Turbo is a much more refined and exhilarating drive. The drive of my Plaid is very dry the acceleration is brutal and the self driving features are nice but it kind of stops there. Porsche has real personality and in todays market it’s actually difficult to find in brands not focused on improving tech and just giving more power to satisfy their customers. Porsche actually listens to the customer in order to make their vehicles better.

I must admit that all Teslas have fantastic technology that most people would like to use in their daily lives, and that they're practical and cost less to maintain than ICE cars, but they're quite boring in comparison beyond their tech and brutal acceleration. Being more of a driver-type Gal I care more about driving experience rather than daily tech or practicality, and straight line speed, so in this case Turbo S is my pick for my dream daily driver! Last summer my dad and I got to drive a 2014 Turbo for a day and we loved it (he drove it, I was the passenger. I'm getting my drivers license soon!). He said everything was precise, and it was super comfortable! Porsche enginnering at its finest!

yeah, not enough reviewers actually push the car in all the ways it's meant to work, I have personally scared some car guys badly enough that their legs shook when they left the car lol, usually it's the braking from 80mph into a 20mph corner in like 30 feet and then taking it at 50 that'll get you ... I do need to update to 265/325 combo for tires like the 992 (mine is 991.2)
Well, it really hurts me watching a 911 at that low speed. See, here in the EU, in particular in Germany and Poland we drive on the motorways at much higher speeds like 180 - 200 km/h which translates to roughly 110-130 mph. When you cruise at this speed, then the Porsche shows you what it is really about. Just a breathtaking piece of engineering. It's a no match for Mercedeses, Audi, BMW and alikes. Come over the pond and have some fun with it!

I get this unique sensation of being frustrated watching cars like this. I guess driving my BRZ at 9/10 all the time and then seeing this 911 being driven at 5/10 leaves my soul wanting more.
Just think about it like this, 5/10ths of this car is pretty much equal to 9/10th of a N/A flat 4 anyways, but least maintenance times will be on par with the Porsche hahaha
Remember though, it's more fun to drive a slow car fast than it is to drive a fast car slow! The issue with cars as fast as this is that when you really rev them out, you're doing send-you-to-jail-speeds way too quickly. Not that that's a problem for me, because as a college student I can't even afford a BRZ. Lol

The best option for a super car by FAR, lambo’s and rarri’s are not practical at all, the 911 even got extra seats, plus handling is way better and gas mileage. Plus u get luxury too!!! Ur not getting that in a huracan or 458. U just won’t.
I was never a big fan of sport cars because I’m mostly an suv and sports bike kind of guy. But ever since I’ve seen videos of this car on my feed, it has literally made me go and consider saving up for one which is crazy because I never thought of spending 200k on a car.
This is indeed ALMOST perfect. One major annoyance I see that’s also an annoyance on my Audi A5, when you shift out of reverse, the backup camera takes a while to disappear and go back to the infotainment main menu. Other than that, it’s a beauty and will have you going to the supermarket for eggs, veggies, and milk on separate days

I love these things with all of my heart. So nice, I bought it twice! Had a 2021 Aventurine Green S overseas, and when I moved to the US I ordered a 2022 PTS Oak Green S. The perfect daily supercar. I have about 54,000 miles on mine. The only thing I hate is no Android Auto.

I'm from Germany and want to understand why you would buy a Turbo S in the US. The 100k on top in comparison to other 911 models worth it? I mean the benefit is the better acceleration, but you cannot unlock the full speed / power of this beast on public roads.

This has been my dream car as far back as i can remember - honestly, when i was younger if anyone asked my "lotto"" car i always said 911 Turbo S. Now that I've grown Im thinking a Tesla Plaid and a Range Rover for the same money...times have changed but still one of my favorite cars of all time.
Plaid can only go faster than the turbo S for a couple pulls and it has nothing on a turbo S on a track if you’re a genuine pure car enthusiast the 911 is the way to go. If you’re older w kids the plaid is the way to go because you’ll still be pulling serious speeds nonetheless. But you won’t have anywhere near the same handling ability or braking ability as a 911 choose wisely

I did a track day at road america in my fiesta ST, and there was a 992 911 turbo s in the same group as me. Getting passed by him on the front straight was absolutely hilarious. Passed me like I was completely standing still. These cars are almost indescribably fast. There was nothing out there other than a supercharged huracan in the advanced class that was faster down the straights.
Tbh this is a fairly reasonable starting price considering this is way more luxurious and daily able, handles way better and is quicker than it’s competitors at a similar price and I don’t get why people are complaining abt the price but I get that the options r quite dumb.
I mean, this vehicle needs no introduction. This is a beast from Porsche, and I can't believe this is a Volkswagen Group vehicle. The dual clutch in this car just shifts immediately, and I can't believe how fast those shifts are~
In my idea even 5% of engine and stability performance of these type cars can not be used in North America or any other country except Germany, Germans build these cars for their free speed highways. To me this is frustrating to have a such car and I can not go higher than 120 KM.

One word for a 911: A U T O B A H N. This csr doesn’t make sense in the US or any other countries, where speed limits are just so restricted. I am reporting this from malayaisa,, where our speed limit is 110 KM/hr, BUT we can easily get around that (…). When I am back in Germany, first thing I do is renting a 911 and go full speed on the Autobahn. That’s when you feel the real quality and realize how fabulous thus car really is.
I always wonder why people in all of these videos drive a Porsche so damn slowly and only enjoy the acceleration but never the great feeling of speed. And then I suddenly remember that I'm German :) God bless our speed limit-free highways!

Not faster than Tesla Model S Plaid, but this Porsche is just amazing car, and to feel and hear that engine is something electric cars will never be able to replicate.
Even if I could afford this, it’d be too tempting to be properly safe. That engine makes such an incredible noise at high RPM but you can never do high RPM without it sitting at like 100mph. Thing is a monster.
Yea, thats why imo having a high horsepower car for the street is just a waste. Id rather have a mid power car where you can redline it all the time and row through the gears and have a fun driving experience without doing "go straight to jail" speeds.
@@iwontreplybacklol7481 Lots of truth to this. I have 2 cars. One is a Audi S6 with a stage 1 tune. It had 560ish HP and 630ish ft/lbs of torque. Its insanely fast which is loads of fun, but can never really enjoy the power without always looking over my shoulder for flashing lights. My other car is a 996.2 Carrera 4 Cab. It has the X51 power package from factory which adds a little power, bringing it to 345 hp which is still no slouch. This car is way more fun to drive as I really have to drive it to get the power out of it (the peak power is at high rpms unlike the Audi). Being a manual helps with the fun, but either way, the fact you have to really drive it to get the power means its simply more fun. Don't get me wrong though, this 992 Turbo S is absolutely fantastic.

I never have been a huge Porsche fan, but dayum.....that was awesome! The sound of the engine, grip, etc. Just wish they weren't SO expensive......
I seriously think that Porsche is at the top of the food chain when it comes to luxury, performance, and lifestyle cars! Their engineering (no matter the type of car) is superior.
My dream car!! “Porsche…There is no substitute”. Best all around super car on the planet!! Top speed of 205+ mph and can also be an everyday driver. No lag when turbos engaged.

This has been my dream car as far back as i can remember - honestly, when i was younger if anyone asked my "lotto"" car i always said 911 Turbo S. Now that I've grown Im thinking a Tesla Plaid and a Range Rover for the same money...times have changed but still one of my favorite cars of all time.
Plaid can only go faster than the turbo S for a couple pulls and it has nothing on a turbo S on a track if you’re a genuine pure car enthusiast the 911 is the way to go. If you’re older w kids the plaid is the way to go because you’ll still be pulling serious speeds nonetheless. But you won’t have anywhere near the same handling ability or braking ability as a 911 choose wisely
I've always thought about how the 911 is somewhat a stereotypical dream car for many people, I now realize why, the engine sounded phenomenal with those pops, the interior... now that got me hard. Great video man it's such a beautiful car!

911 turbo s is one of their all time all rounder and driver friendly car I think,people loved this when it came out,I have four personal favorites from them( as an individual for me that's the highest number of favorites from a single car brand) but it doesnt involve this,but man customers loved this one like crazy for its compactness and perfection

I did a track day at road america in my fiesta ST, and there was a 992 911 turbo s in the same group as me. Getting passed by him on the front straight was absolutely hilarious. Passed me like I was completely standing still. These cars are almost indescribably fast. There was nothing out there other than a supercharged huracan in the advanced class that was faster down the straights.

This seems like one of the few cars who's digital look will age gracefully and tastefully. As will the rest of the looks
Tbh this is a fairly reasonable starting price considering this is way more luxurious and daily able, handles way better and is quicker than it’s competitors at a similar price and I don’t get why people are complaining abt the price but I get that the options r quite dumb.
The mistake they make is looking at this as an absurdly expensive 911. It's actually more of an underpriced bargain hypercar.

I always had love the Turbo S but a GT3RS or R8 V10 plus has me beat in terms of sound :D I‘m still unsure which one to add to the collection
In my idea even 5% of engine and stability performance of these type cars can not be used in North America or any other country except Germany, Germans build these cars for their free speed highways. To me this is frustrating to have a such car and I can not go higher than 120 KM.

One word for a 911: A U T O B A H N.
This csr doesn’t make sense in the US or any other countries, where speed limits are just so restricted. I am reporting this from malayaisa,, where our speed limit is 110 KM/hr, BUT we can easily get around that (…). When I am back in Germany, first thing I do is renting a 911 and go full speed on the Autobahn. That’s when you feel the real quality and realize how fabulous thus car really is.

Almost impossible to find these at MSRP. What a perfect machine. Faster than even any production electric car.
Not faster than Tesla Model S Plaid, but this Porsche is just amazing car, and to feel and hear that engine is something electric cars will never be able to replicate.

Even if I could afford this, it’d be too tempting to be properly safe. That engine makes such an incredible noise at high RPM but you can never do high RPM without it sitting at like 100mph. Thing is a monster.
Yea, thats why imo having a high horsepower car for the street is just a waste. Id rather have a mid power car where you can redline it all the time and row through the gears and have a fun driving experience without doing "go straight to jail" speeds.

A 992S would be totally fine for me, “only” 450 Porsche hp. Stage 1 tune puts it in supercar league.
@@iwontreplybacklol7481 Lots of truth to this. I have 2 cars. One is a Audi S6 with a stage 1 tune. It had 560ish HP and 630ish ft/lbs of torque. Its insanely fast which is loads of fun, but can never really enjoy the power without always looking over my shoulder for flashing lights. My other car is a 996.2 Carrera 4 Cab. It has the X51 power package from factory which adds a little power, bringing it to 345 hp which is still no slouch. This car is way more fun to drive as I really have to drive it to get the power out of it (the peak power is at high rpms unlike the Audi). Being a manual helps with the fun, but either way, the fact you have to really drive it to get the power means its simply more fun. Don't get me wrong though, this 992 Turbo S is absolutely fantastic.
