This is a great 911, I'd probably take it over the other cars you mentioned at the end, but I'm really looking forward to you reviewing the new 911 T when it comes out - and Porsche has said they will come out with it.
I'm a younger person and I've always preferred subtlety in my cars, because the last thing I want is people thinking about stealing or vandalising it, which is why I'd always go for the 911 Turbo. And I also generally don't want to be associated with the type of people who drive flashy cars.
As far as I know, The Turbo S is the best 911 that "Normal Porsche" makes, you know, just like Cayenne Turbo S, etc, but the GT3 is Porsche Motorsport's take on the 911 Carrera, just like the GT2 RS is their take on the 911 Turbo :)
Close the frunk lid by letting it down slowly and press on the emblem to close, avoids deforming the aluminum lid. Just so you know. Dealers will usually give you the clear markers for free as replacements. The 992 Carrera S is all you need, not much slower any more, save your money. Would take the Porsche over any of the rest.
Porsche is still building some of the best cars on the road. Not just on the track. Good looks and style. But not over the top flashy. Everyday drivers not showoff and then in the shop. Wonderful, reliable machines.
Hi Guys- back again. Now it is mid-2023 and once again I have a new 911 Turbo S Cab. on order for arrival in late August. This car is totally "Loaded" with options. Very fast, very beautiful (Ice Grey & Blue), and VERY EXPENSIVE! For the first time, it will cost over $300,000.00 !!! However, it is still the best overall sports car in the world. Nothing can compare. Keep those reviews coming. Like the 911, the Streight Pipes are the best overall in the car review business !!
4:58 I really wish they would find a way to offer an option out of the fixed rear wing as they did with the GT3, a 'Turbo S Touring Edition' if you will... I just love the classic 911 design and I feel the fixed wings have always interrupted that to a notieceable extent.
One thing you forgot to mention, and this is why this car is by far THE VERY BEST on the market today … that is servicing ….. Every TWO YEARS or 20K miles whichever comes first ….. THAT in itself tells you the reliability of such a high performance car is AMAZING ….. NO OTHER car in this category COMES CLOSE .. That’s why this Porsche 992 Turbo S is THE VERY BEST MONEY CAN BUY !
After 4 years on the market this 992 Turbo S is still relevant and desirable. The beautiful and timeless looks are under the radar and the interior looks well built and sophisticated. Its the one I would have.
Spent some time driving behind a 991 Turbo S last week during a rally and it sounds like the 992 lost a lot of the sound that the 991 Turbo S had maybe due to the particulate filter? That car's stock exhaust was insanely loud in Sport+ on top of all kinds induction noise.

I think this is the perfect car. It’s not overly flashy, it’s stylish, can be daily driven, reliable, doesn’t have overly complicated controls, easy to drive at low speeds, and can annihilate just about every car on the road.
Definitely a Supercar... I hate when people say its not
A sports car with a supercar performance
@@thatboy27506 hypercar*
Jakub almost swear again 😂 damn that's fast!
Fffffffff
The Turbo S has been my fav since the 1997 turbo s.
This is a great 911, I'd probably take it over the other cars you mentioned at the end, but I'm really looking forward to you reviewing the new 911 T when it comes out - and Porsche has said they will come out with it.
so this is the car that always win in carwow drag race against ferrari, lamborghini, mclaren
I'm a younger person and I've always preferred subtlety in my cars, because the last thing I want is people thinking about stealing or vandalising it, which is why I'd always go for the 911 Turbo.
And I also generally don't want to be associated with the type of people who drive flashy cars.
This car looks pretty damn flashy to me. Nothing really subtle about it.
Although it’s no Lamborghini in the looks department it sure as hell isnt a civic and would attract PLENTY of unwanted attention.
Nobody REALLY pays attention to 911s though, especially now that the Turbo model is harder to differentiate from the base models.
These videos just keep boosting my mood
You can't help smiling at these guys.
6:25 sounds like when you are driving an old manual car and don´t change your gear properly
This is THE best value, best sports car in the world for me.
its over $200K USD....value? lol NSX is just as quick for $50K less
The face Jacob makes during the launch 8 minutes in. I don't know how many times I've seen it but I still puts a big smile on my face 😀
This Porsche smokes all the competition
Hey Yuri & Jakob , is there any chance you review Lotus cars? I'm badly waiting to see them in yours❤️
You guys have done so well, 1M subscribers coming soon !! Great review by the way 👍🏻
Man! Mat and you guys review the same car today....
Let's beat mat for views today 😂
TheStraightPipes Let's go!!!😂
@@TheStraightPipes I was thinking the same thing
Porsche just keeps refining the 911 year after year after year. What a fine automobile this is. Just wish I had $200K.....😫🤷♂️
The Carrara is like a masterpiece
strivng to convince you that
(our love will stay the same forever, so we don't need to change, no matter what...)
Straight here from the car wow video.... Been waiting for this car a long time.
Apparently a McLaren 720s is slower than a “sports car” lmfao
It’s not slower it does 10.1 on road 9.7 on dragstrip hits 200Kmh faster hits 100Mph the same time
@@mumyadomuez9223 Slower 1/4 mile time and in track before considering it has better power/weight ratio.
@@FepXBL they both do 10.1 idiot
But the 720s beats it in every other category except the 0-60.
@@mumyadomuez9223 You’re too stupid to understand the difference in performance figures, let alone compare them. My mistake.
8:14 looks like some concussion-casuing grip levels on launch
“Kinda quiet”; *sounds like an angry banshee*
Change my mind: This is best daily sports car.
I would argue it's not. It's the best daily supercar.
@Bernard that's a lot cheaper. And slower and less luxury
@Bernard They are not competitors
Out of all the exotic cars out there, This is my dream car 🙂 it’s Iconic in every level.
0-100 in 2.5 sec
Standing Quarter in 10.34 sec
That‘s quick af, even quicker than the GT2 RS
Sir Kerzenhalter bruh that’s crazy quick... hardly believable
10.1 in the Quarter mile
4:58 I really wish they would find a way to offer an option out of the fixed rear wing as they did with the GT3, a 'Turbo S Touring Edition' if you will...
I just love the classic 911 design and I feel the fixed wings have always interrupted that to a notieceable extent.
its call a carrera s
Finally a car for grown men
The synchronization of your movements at 15:15 is unmatched by any other car reviewers
That's the best looking tachometer in the business. Period.
PERIOD
I love this car, having one of these would be insane
Thought it actually was a 3,7 liter engine though.
You're correct
3.745 liters as specified by Mat from Carwow.
Rounded up
@@cedb7115 3.745 ist rounded 3.7
Engine displacement is always rounded up. Another example is the AMG 6.208L that everyone whines about because of the 6.3L badge.
After 4 years on the market this 992 Turbo S is still relevant and desirable. The beautiful and timeless looks are under the radar and the interior looks well built and sophisticated. Its the one I would have.
It's a 911, they're all relevant and desirable haha
Spent some time driving behind a 991 Turbo S last week during a rally and it sounds like the 992 lost a lot of the sound that the 991 Turbo S had maybe due to the particulate filter? That car's stock exhaust was insanely loud in Sport+ on top of all kinds induction noise.
