TAMMY I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU BUT THERE IS ROOM FOR LORRIE TOO! YOU WERE HER IDOL AND YOU WILL ALWAYS BE MINE TOO. LORRIE REMINDED ME OF YOU SINGING WITH GEORGE AND IT MADE ME CRY......MISSING YOU ALWAYS......DENNIS TROY
LORRIE ......I LOVE YOU SO MUCH. YOU LEARNED SO MUCH FROM THE FIRST LADY HERSELF......TAMMY WYNETTE. I MISS HER SO MUCH AND I AM SO GLAD YOU ARE HERE. WATCHING YOU SING WITH GEORGE MADE ME CRY BECAUSE YOU REMINDED ME HOW MUCH I MISS TAMMY! DENNIS TROY
Yeah, I know who that is playing guitar! His initials are MH, but I don't want to spoil it for those who are here watching for the first time. I saw Lorrie & George at the old Rocky Gap Music Festival singing "A Picture of Me..." together, way back in '91 or '92. Nice!
just read your comment You were very very respectful. I feel the same way. Lorrie is my Baby Doll, In my dreams, anyway. No two people can sing this song byt George and Tammy so, don t feel bad about it. People on the tube seem to get a little crasy. When you disagree. OMG lol anyway. I understand and as much as I love Lorrie. Tammy was the other part to this great Song. Love Ya
It's almost eerie seeing these two sing together... I always thought Lorrie and Keith could have been the next George and Tammy, if only Keith had been around a little longer.
I am trying to remember a country song, I think it was a duet of a male and a female in about 1950s or earlier, it was about a child who they loved so much but the child died and it was a song dedicated to her, I hope my recall of Jenny is correct. I hope someone could help. I just miss listening to it. It was a very great song.
I met Lorrie at our airport at the checkpoint here. She had on a Tshirt-sweat pants-hair UP and no makeup(and STILL loved very pretty!!). The celebrities sometimes travel that way and no one knows who they are, but she couldn't fool old Herb Walker ,NO!!! I told her "Hey Lorrie" ,she about freaked out, with ALL those people around her but I was the ONLY one that recognized her. WE chatted quickly & She took OFF before her fans could catch her!!! LOL
Herb Walker I met her at the Country Music Awards When GM sponsored it in LA. Skin Tight Red Strapless Dress . Very Friendly as she waited to go on stage and crowd loved her. (Me to)
Mimi Morgan I honestly believe George Jones should have just wrote songs and let Lorrie sing them. Love his writing and her voice. By the way Mimi do you have a daughter named Lauren? Just wondered. Only cause your name sounds familiar. Lauren used to come to my house and sing karaoke when she was very little.
Yes i think she stole his line as well, i also think it was much too short it would have great if they had sang the whole song as they sing so well together.
Is it really that hard to edit this and spell the word 'playing' properly ?? Since I post/share this video lots ... kind of fed up with people telling my I can't spell .. lol
bit harsh with your reply I know enough about country music as anyone. I should have added in '' in my opinion'' . if you havnt already try listening to a young Jack Greene or Gene Watson different class to Jones ''in my opinion.
What a beautifully done love song. Simple words, big talent.
Lori's voice has that Classic Country sound!!

LISTEN to the minor chord arrangments!! I do that too, it just makes the song 'flow' so WELL

NOBODY can sing like George.

to That Family--Jones is an awful singer but to call him a moron is a bit harsh really
ok, that sucked.

george jones is the worst singer ever how he ever made it is beyond me
You don't know what you're talking about. You must not know real country music.
bit harsh with your reply I know enough about country music as anyone. I should have added in '' in my opinion'' . if you havnt already try listening to a young Jack Greene or Gene Watson different class to Jones ''in my opinion.
Well maybe I should have added "in my opinion" also. I have listened to Jack Greene and Gene Watson. Gene is one of my all time favorites.
We'll just have to beg to differ Shirley --Merry Xmas from Bonnie Scotland
