"We're Gonna Hold On" is a 1973 duet single by George Jones and Tammy Wynette. The duo, who were a married couple at the time, had their first of three number-one songs on the U.S. country chart. "We're Gonna Hold On" was the most successful of these releases spending fourteen weeks on the chart. George Jones co-wrote the song with Earl Montgomery.
Lee Ann Womack ; born August 19, 1966, is an American country music singer and songwriter. Her 2000 single, "I Hope You Dance" was a major crossover music hit, reaching No. 1 on the Billboard Country Chart and the Top 15 of the Billboard Hot 100, becoming her signature song.At Belmont University, Womack met and married singer-songwriter Jason Sellers in 1990; they divorced in 1996. Together they had a daughter named Aubrie Sellers (b. 1991) Womack gave birth to her second daughter, Annalise Liddell, in January 1999 after marrying record producer Frank Liddell.
Joseph Edward Nichols (born November 26, 1976) is an American country music artist. Between 1996 and 2001, he held recording contracts with the Intersound and Giant labels. In 2002, he signed with Universal South Records, now known as Show Dog-Universal Music.
Nichols began his career with The Rodeo Band, playing in high school gymnasiums and small clubs. Throughout the course of his career, Nichols has released nine studio albums: Joe Nichols (1996), Man with a Memory (2002), Revelation, A Traditional Christmas (both 2004), III (2005), Real Things (2007), Old Things New (2009), Crickets (2013), and Never Gets Old (2017). These albums have produced over 14 Top 40 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts, including the Number One singles "Brokenheartsville", "Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off", "Gimmie That Girl", "Sunny and 75", and the RIAA GOLD-certified single "Yeah", as well as five other Top 10 entries.

Thanks for posting this. I am a huge fan of George Jones and Tammy Wynette. But, these two do a great version of the song, and I think George and Tammy would feel honored! Ms. Womack is the best female country singer of her generation.
