- Baby beaver was found alone on the street, and now surprises woman with cute dances! Tulip was found by some construction workers when she was tiny and lost. They took her to a rescue where a lady got in touch with Holley and asked if she wanted to help out with the baby. Holley taught Tulip how to swim and how to live her best life.

When she’s older she will be demoralized, unable to fend for herself in the wild, and won’t survive.
@@ericligotke3542 exactly my thoughts, she's grown to be fully domesticated and not equipped for survival in the wild now, hope she's still at the wildlife center, if anyone has updates, please share!
Beavers live in familial units in their dams so it’s possible she could still. They are pretty good at adapting to the wild compared to other human raised animals.

They can also be a pretty big nuisance, at least they are where I live. There are plenty of beaver trappers in business, let's just say that. A house i was building on a lake had 5 birch trees taken down in the front yard over the course of a week. They probably took them down and realized they couldn't move them or they were too far from the dam. Another lakeside job had a trapper come twice to remove beavers. Very cool animals, but a lot of destruction and obstruction. Lol

@@HerMajesty1 Doing some research would tell you they are good for the ecosystem. Maybe plant trees that beavers don't like, or build a fence around the trees to keep them out.

cute but the amount of trees they take down each year is actually insane. They effect the environment around them more than any other creature behind humans. I'm not even saying it's a bad thing, it's just crazy.
Tulip is beyond cute but I am not so sure its a good idea for her to be set back in the wild now that she has been taken care of by humans .

If Tulip has been raised and fed by humans and has not been socialized with other beavers and has not learned to forage for food on her own, how can you release her back to the wild?
She is being raised with other beavers, and by a rehabber who has had many years of successful rescues and releases. Dr Holley is good at what she does.
I'd say maybe to a sanctuary but I would think the wild is much too risky, but that's me
She said that was her goal, but it's not necessarily a given yet. It's also not like she's going to be released in a couple of months as baby beavers need to be kept and cared for for 2 years. Dr. Holley will obviously first see where Tulip is at by that point before she makes any decisions. 😊
Maybe this is her way of supporting the wolf sanctuary next door?

The little noises she makes are so sweet. I had seen a documentary about another rehabbed Beaver 🦫 His name was JB, for Justin Beaver. He became an ambassador animal at his rehab. They have children of all ages come in to learn all about the Beaver. They bring JB in as a form of show and tell. Pretty cool. ❤
And he moved all their stuff about to dam up all the doorways.... :D!! Cracked me up. Ah life is so beautiful with animals

JB died, I believe. :( He was awesome! If they can't release Tulip, she'd make a great new animal ambassador.
JB died two years ago this month. He caught a rapid bacterial infection called Rodent Bloat. There was nothing that could be done and he died within a few hours. 😢
That's cute. The old IMAX documentary called 'Beavers' from 1988 is still one of my favorite documentaries. They are very fascinating [and destructive] creatures.
I really can't find the words to say how insanely adorable Tulip is, but my goodness, she's the Cutest Baby ever...lol! Those little noises, her grooming, swimming...I'd never be able to get anything done, and I don't think I could release her, even though it's in her best interest, so I'm soo grateful for Angels, like her adoptive Mama! ❤💋

She can't just release her into the wild. She hasn't learned how to survive. She'll die !
Agreed! I hope they live somewhere where they would have the opportunity to do a soft release. I would love to see more of journey of rehabilitation.
Yeah, I have some doubts to be honest, unless they are really methodical in doing things, like teaching her how to find her own food in the wild or how to build a home or hide from predators. All things she would've learned from her family in normal circumstances.

Adorable, sick that people kill them for the fur and because they build damns, that is what they do
I love all animals as well but “what they do” entails more than surface value. Perfect example… we have a three acre small lake as the primary source of water for 100+ cows. Over time, beavers cut down every single tree around it which allows silt to run in. After they ate all the trees, they started burrowing tunnels through the dam to drain it. Thousands of dollars in damage but it’s what they do right?

Tulip is the cutest little girl l I've ever seen, I don't think I've ever seen a baby beaver. She is so animated. It's easy to see how you would be so attached to her. You can see she knows you are her surrogate mommy. So happy she found a safe place and such loving people to care for her, and bring her back to health. Teaching her to be a beaver, she is a very willing and excited student. One day with all the loving care she has received she will have her own family .🥰

Tulip is so sweet and cute and thank you from the bottom of my heart to those workers who rescued her and brought her to you and to yourself for saving her, looking after her and trying to rehabilatate her back into the wild🦫😻❤️! You are proof that there are good people in this world! I wish Tulip and yourself the best of luck and a long and happy life! 😻❤️ One question that I do have though is that is the shirt she is wearing for medical purposes (such as to keep her warm, stop her from scratching the now thankfully gone irritations etc) or something else as she is still a wild animal?
