Age 55, and I’ve tried way too many foundations in the past year. I LOVE this foundation! From the coverage to the full day wear, and it is natural and radiant without getting too “glowy” as time goes by. I was surprised you had to go back and powder, I haven’t needed any touch ups. It has been the best so far for any texture. They all get “weird” around the nose I think. I wish that it was a clean beauty product yes. I have seen it mostly compared to the hourglass. I have not tried that yet, as reviewers have said it is more sheer and I prefer medium buildable. Thank you for your review!
I have bought a lot of things that weren't worth the hype. I just got your brushes with Angie hot and flashy and they are definitely the first thing I have bought that are worth the hype!! I absolutely love them, I couldn't believe that brushes make such a difference but they definitely do! Can't wait to buy more!!
Wow that is one of the best shade match I have ever seen. You could not even see the difference between her skin tone and the foundation. Im very impressed.
I tried this foundation recently and am in love. I noticed the scent right away but it doesn't bother me, either. For reference I have great skin but I am 53 so am slightly dry and don't care for anything that settles into wrinkles, emphasizes texture or looks heavy or obviously "made up". I want to look fresh and polished, not like I'm wearing a crusty mask. I thought this looked incredible on you - in fact immediately after you applied this if I had skipped to that segment of the video I wouldn't have thought you were wearing makeup - it seemed as if you had naturally perfect skin. I feel that this gives me a similar "my complexion but better" look. I know you like the new Hourglass foundation but I also tried this and it looked heavy and obvious on my skin. I returned it and kept the Lancome. One note, however - I found the shade range difficult to navigate. My impression is the shades run dark and are either very warm (almost olive) or very peachy (orange). Hoping that this is due to being a new launch and the shade range will expand in the future.
I love this foundation!!!! I’m a combo lady living in the Caribbean and it works great. The undertone isn’t the best and I also have 330N….actually ordered 310N! This was what I wished the Nars Light Reflecting would have been. I know everyone loves that one, and I like it but I don’t look at my skin after and say yes that’s pretty! I do with this one
I really like this foundation I live in North Texas and I took it with me to Arizona to see my mom.. I wore underneath the Lancôme tinted moisturizer with SPF 23 it worked really well for my skin …I’m 60 and a little dry…. looks gorgeous on you Lisa 🥰
Love your videos! Content idea: It would be great to have a couple of models with diff skin types. You have amazing skin so it’s like putting foundation on a silk canvas. Doesnt tell me a whole lot about the makeup.
Dearest Ms Lisa… my mom (who passed in 2004) and I would both call you a true lady. You are a pleasure to watch and I really believe are true to your beliefs and your family. Thank you.
Hey Pretty Lady, I loved the whole makeup look, a one and done eyeshadow I’m loving, would love to see you recommend some of your favourites for this Lisa, I don’t have time to be fussing with too many shadows on my eyes and love the idea of just one to be out the door, I find that I spend more time applying my eyeshadow than anything else. Beautiful as always. Much Love and Kindness from Janelle xoxo 💖💖
Hi Lisa, I was listening to see if it settled into any texture. Sounds like it’s not good for an older woman with fine lines such as myself. Would this be good for your mom for instance? What is her favorite these days? Love all you do! Thanks, Sharon ❤
I agree with you! We need more reviews to be conducted on people who have challenging skin (wrinkles, discolorations, texture, scarring, etc.), not on young people who have perfect skin. Any foundation will look good on these young gals.
Good morning, Lisa ❤️ Thanks for reviewing this foundation. I've been looking forward to a review I can trust. I'm a little disappointed with the shine, but may give it a try. I love the Lacombe Tint e dol concealer and their mascara. Your monochromatic eye look is so pretty. When you came back on after putting on the rest of your makeup, I actually said "Ohh!" because you looked so pretty. Very much a sun-kissed beauty!! Thanks 😊 ❤️
Lovely! After I finish the current bottle of Lancome Teint Idole Ultrawear (I assume this is without the "glow" version) I will then try the new one. Thank you! 💖💖
OMG!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I appreciate all you truly do to give us such a honest & TRUE review! Most people sit down put it on and review it right away..:/! It’s interesting that this one is advertised as a “glowy” and a “serum” foundation and yet isn’t marketed toward dry skin. I’ve been curious about this foundation-thanks for the review!!

I love this one. It’s one of my fav. I also love the original as well. It’s not as glow as Iike it. It’s a soft glow. Love it and I said love 3 times Ha. But is amazing.
Well, the Lancôme one contains denatured alcohol, which can be very drying on the skin, but the Hourglass does not. I purchased the Hourglass one, because of that. I don't understand why Lancôme put that ingredient in this foundation, when it's not in many of their others marketed to oily skin. 🤷🏼♀️
The denatured alcohol lets the foundation set. Unfortunately it will never dry down without the alcohol, it will stay moist/wet which is fine but personally drives me nuts.
The foundation looks extraordinary on your complexion 👏🏽👏🏽. I might have to try it. I love, love the BK Beauty #106 🖌️ foundation brush, but I love all your brushes. I still need to try the Bobbi Brown concealer, but right now I am totally in love with the Dior Backstage Concealer 👏🏽👏🏽. Have you tried Uoma Finishing powder? If so, opinion 🤔? Thank you 😊. Cheers 😉🌷
Very pretty 😍 I'm so intrigued by this foundation. I'll need to check it out. Just curious, which Strivectin product are you currently using? I believe I heard Strivectin but didn't see which product in the description box. I love Strivectin so much. It's pretty much all I use for skincare so I'd love to know which Strivectin products you use. Thanks!
Interesting the dcore went down by the end of the day. I love that you compared it to the hourglass in reference. Didn't you day the Hourglass was more of a "makeup" look? So it can't be sheered out to look like a bit more than a skin tint? That's what I'm looking for. Great video!! Have a fantastic week LISA🥰🌟💪💥😁
Your makeup looks beautiful as always💕I bought this foundation and love as much as the Nars. Excited to try the Hourglass! I just purchased the rosey blush after seeing this video, can you please tell me what brush (bk beauty) you applied it with in this video. Thank you 😊
Thank you for the review! I really wanted yours. It reminds me to Dior Nude foundation, similar texture, coverage and the same shine that comes up after a few hours, so I will wait until I finish the Dior one :) thank you Lisa!
Hi dear I love you tutorial they are very very useful.. May I know what lights do you use to make vedios and also would like to know weather it's on phone Or camera. Thank you stay blessed🙏
Beautiful look! Lisa, what lipstick are you wearing in the video? What color one and done would you recommend for someone with fair to light skin with pink undertones and brown eyes?
I have been using the original Teint Idole foundation for years. I haven’t tried this one yet though. Waiting for cooler weather to give it a try. I do have a question for you….. Have you tried Jones Road Miracle Balm? If you have…. I would love to know your thoughts. Thank you 😊
I just tried this for the first time yesterday.....didn't quite remember what the skin type for this was and the fact you mentioned dry skin is not in the mentions says everything. I am super dry and expected more glow and now I know why. it really grabbed on me, looked and acted tight and dry. I remember in the training for this at work that hydrating was mentioned, so bad on me for thinking it was perfect for dry skin. I know they suggest to add a couple of drops of serum to make it apply better....so given I'm being sent one, I will do this.....
I have tired the rénergie version because I am on the more normal to dry skin type and I noticed mine settled as well. I live in the Alabama heat so that court be it but also I require two pumps to build mine up enough so I could also be over apply in my center area of my face especially under my nose and between my eyebrows is where I have noticed mine was settling and coming of.
You gotta love me 🥴. I still haven't tried mine (or the HG ... I've only had these for 2+ weeks 😂). I've been enjoying the summertime freedom of not needing to wear foundation. Just an idea, but perhaps mixing the HG and Lancome might work????? You'll never know until you've tried 😉 Lots of love to you 💚💛💚💛💚💛💚
Thanks Lisa for review! I got a sample of this foundation. I have combination skin. I live in Georgia. It does look pretty but definitely got to oily in a short amount of time. For me it’s a pass. I wish I can find a dupe for my favorite Peach Prefect Too Faced. So bummed that they discontinued it. If anyone has suggestions, please let me know. ❤️
I’m going to pass on this one due to fragrance- no need for that in a foundation. I’ll try the Westman Atelier tint or new Patrick Ta cream/powder duo instead. It looked beautiful on you, Lisa! 💗
Very pretty foundation, Lisa. I'm still steering towards on Hourglass foundation. The colors are confusing online, so I'll have to stop into Ulta to try them! ❤❤
I bought the Hourglass and I LOVE it. Less is more, a half pump was all I needed, with just a smidge more with my problem area. No settling in any wrinkles. I applied with the 101 brush, then just bounced a sponge over it. My forehead is super oily and I did have some breakthrough so I do need a setting powder there.
@@reneklein6049 I hear ya . They got a new manager The previous one I called her sour puss went to cherry hill lol . Let me know if you go I can met you
I bought this before the hourglass foundation. Both are so beautiful, but the Lancôme may wear a little longer for me. We bought the same shade in both, I find the Lancôme to be very neutral, and a beautiful color
Have you heard of the "all Good" lifestyle subscription box? Similar to the fab fit fun box? It uses eco-friendly and substainable products. It comes out four times a year, with the seasons. Sounds interesting 🤔......
Hi! This foundation did not work for me. I’m keeping it and playing around mixing it with others as I detest having to return anything. 🤪. Looking beautiful as always! 😘
You mentioned the smell of the foundation? What is the scent? If it's a nice scent like a floral scent then that's ok however if it's a really strong scent and overwhelming then I won't like it. Have you tried Ester Lauder Skin Serum foundation? It's got botanical oils in it but it stinks! And made me feel sick.
I would love a Video on how to keep my 70 years eyes from creasing! I’ve powdered not powered tried ever concealer. It al creases. I have creases but not horrible . I give up 😂
A big nope from me. I’m 49 and live in Charleston, Sc. It is crazy humid here in Charleston, Sc and it made my skin look dry and patchy. I’d consider my skin oily in the t-zone. I had to order online because ulta didn’t have my match instore. The match was great..light to fair. I’m returning it today and I’ve never returned a makeup product. Whaaaa. I’m going to buy the original and my holy grail. Edited to add…it looked so dull on my skin.
Thank goodness for Sephora’s sample policy otherwise the hundreds of $ I would have spent buying the newest FANTASTIC foundation would have hurt.🤦🏼♀️although I keep plugging along looking for the one that will remove a few decades from my face 😂
You have perfect skin that is fee of discolorations, texture, wrinkles, post acne scars, etc. You do not have the challenges that most people have with their skin, especially women with mature skin or people who have had acne and struggle to cover up scars and discolorations. Your skin will look beautiful with anything you put on it, therefore you are not a good judge of how foundation will perform on most people. You really need to consider using a model with challenging skin when you do these reviews because the majority of people out here cannot connect with you. People with perfect skin like you are not watching these videos. It is people who have challenges.
There are people out there with Lisa’s skin type who are interested in knowing how this foundation wears. Just don’t watch if it doesn’t work for you, why go out of your way to say all this.. 🙄
I think this foundation gave me a rash. I am a huge foundation buff and this has never happened before. I tested it in a couple colors and eventually bought it because I really loved the finish and long wear. However after using it for several days I started noticing my face was bumpier than usual and itching. This foundation has an uncommon chemical sunscreen ingredient plus a LOT of fragrance plus alcohol. My skin did not like it. Additionally the finish was inconsistent depending on the product I used under it. Ended up returning which was disappointing because I really loved it the first couple times I used it.
@@daynad8104 Yes! Ditch the sunscreen and the fragrance. Consumers are more educated about ingredients now. Why are they still putting that stuff in foundations?
@@embeth446, I have no idea. I'm an Esthetician, and am very careful about ingredients. I'm guessing a lot of people care more about how it looks, instead of how it could damage their skin. I have around 12 foundations right now(always searching for The One), and only one has denatured alcohol. Even the Lancôme Tient Idol regular doesn't have denatured alcohol, so I really don't understand why this one does. I'm glad that more people are looking at ingredient decks, than they did in the past. If everyone would do it, then the companies would make the change. Until then, we can only do our part, and not buy those products.
This foundation didn’t work for me at all! When I first put it on it looks good but after couple hours later it starts to dry out so badly, fells uncomfortable on the skin, make my face super matte, settle in my fine lines and emphasizes my pores :/
I purchased the Hourglass, instead of the Lancôme, due to the ingredients. Denatured alcohol(very drying to the skin & the 3rd ingredient), chemical(which I don't use) sunscreen(why do companies put sunscreen in foundation?), and scent(why?). None of that is needed. Im a licensed Esthetician, so it's just all a big no for me!
I have super dry skin and I LOVE this new foundation. It just looks gorgeous and lasts me all day in this FL heat. You look beautiful Lisa! 💕
Thank you!! :)
What primer do you use under this foundation? I have extremely dry skin as well unfortunately, but it still looked drying on me.

Is is a floral/perfume scent? I really wish foundations would be scent free.
Please make the video I love this makeup looks great 👍 ❤️
Thank you!
Can anyone comment on the difference between this foundation and the Clinique serum foundation?? My skin is normal. Thanks
It’s still not available in canada?! I’ve researched but cant find out why. If anyone knows can you let me know please.
Oh bummer! I hope it comes soon!
Thank goodness for Sephora’s sample policy otherwise the hundreds of $ I would have spent buying the newest FANTASTIC foundation would have hurt.🤦🏼♀️although I keep plugging along looking for the one that will remove a few decades from my face 😂
Lisa what do you use to do your brows? I don’t ever see that listed. Maybe I’ve missed it
I am using this pencil from NYX and the Benefit Gimme Brow Gel bit.ly/3wHdZB6
You have perfect skin that is fee of discolorations, texture, wrinkles, post acne scars, etc. You do not have the challenges that most people have with their skin, especially women with mature skin or people who have had acne and struggle to cover up scars and discolorations. Your skin will look beautiful with anything you put on it, therefore you are not a good judge of how foundation will perform on most people. You really need to consider using a model with challenging skin when you do these reviews because the majority of people out here cannot connect with you. People with perfect skin like you are not watching these videos. It is people who have challenges.
🔝🎁⤴️.
There are people out there with Lisa’s skin type who are interested in knowing how this foundation wears.
Just don’t watch if it doesn’t work for you, why go out of your way to say all this.. 🙄
So which do you love more? Hourglass or this one?
Hourglass for sure! :)
Agreed! I didn't purchase it, because of those reasons. I wish makeup brands would quit putting sunscreen into their foundations!
Oh no!
What age gap would this foundation suite
❤
I couldn’t find my shade in this foundation. I liked everything else about it but it’s a no.
👍😍👌🏾
I purchased the Hourglass, instead of the Lancôme, due to the ingredients. Denatured alcohol(very drying to the skin & the 3rd ingredient), chemical(which I don't use) sunscreen(why do companies put sunscreen in foundation?), and scent(why?). None of that is needed. Im a licensed Esthetician, so it's just all a big no for me!
The foundation didn’t work for me. It was patchy. Wasn’t glowy. Not a great range of shades
Agree! I share the same opinion as you.
Very disappointing re the fragrance. An immediate knock-out for me.
Isn't lancome just loreal ? Overpriced
