Hi Andrea… love your thrift finds as always. Your home always exudes warmth and coziness 🏡. Keep up your great you tube work. I love watching your content.😊
Watching from Michigan…Kim
Aww thank you for the sweet message, Kim!! Happy to have a fellow Michigander following along! 🤗💕
Happiness filled my heart when I saw a notification that you uploaded a video📌📌💖✨🐾💗💞💌🍡🍩🍫🍬💎🍨🥞🥑🍒⭐🍪🍯🍰🥧🍦🍥🎂🧁🍭🧋🏩💒🎉🎄🎊👑💖🌟🥰🥰🥰
Aww thank you!! 😄
Hi Andrea, I am loving watching your videos, I find them so relaxing and motivating at the same time. Our house had become a little neglected just recently, but seeing how beautiful you keep your home, it has helped me to do more to make our home more cosey. It has also encouraged me to make more nutritious meals, Thank you! SO MUCH! For all you do. I just wish you had a postbox or something so I could send you a little thank you for all the effort you put into these videos, I know it can’t always be easy with 4 boys. Thank you again. Rachel from the U.K. x
My mother in law had three of those bell shaped baskets that she hung on her front door at Christmas with red velvet ribbon. And that’s what they are. 😊
Thrift stores are awesome! You never know what you are going to find! I still have cute things I've had for YEARS that I picked up at thrift stores for practically nothing.
My mom made a wall/door Christmas decoration with those woven bells. She tied them together with pretty ribbon. For the inner part of the bell she attached pine cones to ribbon and they hung down as the clappers.
Houseplants can be finicky. Don’t panic, try moving them to different places. Some house plants thrive in shade, and some in sun. If they don’t want to live in your house, that’s fine. Keep trying different varieties until you find some that love your home.
The bell shaped basket reminds me of the Longaberger bell basket sold back in the 80's. Not a big seller because no one knew what to do with it. Well years later it was a hot collectable and sold for big bucks since they were rare. I was a salesperson for Longaberger and collected all their J.W. brass plated ones and my husband kept saying I didn't need more. UNTIL, they became collectable and some went out my door for over $500.00 each. Put my son through 2 semesters at Bowling Green in the late 80's on those baskets. Lol
Let us help you with your plants. Show us the ones that aren’t doing well and I bet there are plenty of us that can help you diagnose what is wrong. This was a fun thrift haul. I am so envious of all the wonderful things you find!
Your thrift stores are SO MUCH cheaper than mine and so many better items! Then again I have so many choices…you’d think that would make them cheaper 🤷🏼♀
You can never have to many baskets 😂 I have been collecting for years. I only buy antique, handmade or willow now.
Mrs Dan Dare here. Oh Andrea. I'm with you on the baskets. I have so many but I love them and have had to tell myself I have enough. I've just bought myself a new pantry cupboard for our kitchen which I plan to style with baskets & jars. If you have a pantry space I'd love to see how you've styled yours. I need some Andrea inspiration!
I know I say this every time you share thrift hauls, but you have the best thrift stores! And the prices are amazing!
I used to collect slm different sizes of crocks and baskets. God Bless.
While walking through Target today , I recognized your entry way on the front cover of Cottage Style magazine ! How exciting !🌸Your home is beautiful !
I was standing in line at the grocery store and looked over at the magazine racks to see a home that looks suspiciously like yours, Andrea! Of course I had to buy that issue of Cottage Style and read the article on your beautiful home, even though I’ve seen it so many times in your videos. So happy for your continued exposure and success and love everything you do in your social media, and on your blog, it gives me daily inspiration!!
(I also saw Lisa from Farmhouse on Boone was in that issue… but from like 4 years ago!! I got a bit of a laugh realizing that she nor longer lives in that home and has a few more kiddos now!)
You really got some nice things! I love baskets, I have them everywhere. Also, you have the best luck finding white dishes! Great job Andrea!
Those baskets are so cute They reminded me of Christmas bells 🔔!And they look like 🐝 skeps too🙂
Yes, I agree! 😀
Yes I think they are Christmas bells!
Only water plants when the dirt feels dry! 😊
I'm a basket hoarder. LOL One can never have too many baskets. :)
Those baskets look like Christmas bells 🔔
I like Shirley's idea to turn the bells into lights.
Good morning Andrea! Very seldom do you get out without the boys. So happy you got some time to yourself! Time greatly appreciated I'm sure, as it's always nice to spend a little time by yourself. Mom's don't get that often! Great finds and I can't wait to see what y'all have done with the utility room! Enjoy seeing your beautiful home!🤍🙏🤗
I think most thrifters have a " weakness." Yours is baskets. Mine is trays..seriously, how many trays does a person need, lol. But if I find a unique one that fits my decor, there is a good chance it is coming home with me. Love your finds.
I have a weakness for trays as well!
Just my opinion but I don't think you overpaid for the whisk or the adorable small glass bottle. Both are vintage and the bottle would cost between $8-10 at a flea market. A whisk would cost a $1 at our local thrift stores. So good deals all around.😊
You look so pretty today, sweet friend.🤍 I loved the vlog today too.🤍I can’t wait for Laundry Room Reveal.👏🏻
Just went thrifting yesterday in my little old town of Niles. I found a pleated plaid lampshade for only $2.99!!!!! And something I had been looking online for. Every time I found it, it was an ok price... but shipping was twice as much on Etsy as the item. It is a small brass chamberstick box with the bottom holding an antique box of old matches. I was soooooo happy! My search is over! Its mine!
Those wicker cloche’s would make great light pendant shades. Cut a hole in the top of the basket and run a single hanging light through it
They are wicker bells. Use to use for decor for holidays. Put holly, greenery or poinsettias on top with bows. Or set them in a basket decorated with Christmas red birds and made a table arrangement out of them in a basket or tray. A candle etc.
The baskets were bells, could be pretty in evergreen garland with holiday ribbon!
Oh Andrea again I wish we where neighbours,I have some wonderful at least hundred year old medicine bottles. Dug up from my cottage garden. Since moving I've used a couple but the rest are in the loft. Your taste is like mine. 🌺🤍🙏🌺🤍🙏
Thanks for sharing, some great ideas. Are you featured in a magazine? You have spoke of Temu and Thrive do you get paid to promote those or free products? Just wondering why you promote those products. They sound nice ,except if Temu is China products dont like the idea of China products.
Thanks for the info on Thrive. I knew that whisk & little bottle were coming home. lol The straw bell shaped baskets are made for Christmas bells but I like your idea of cloches. Can't wait to see your Laundry room reveal.
Oh wow, interesting!! Thanks for sharing! 😀
I don’t know where you live, but we don’t have $1 or $1.50 dollar items at our Goodwill. A lot of times they are just as expensive as in the regular store. 🙄. You did VERY well on your prices.
My thrift stores are more in line as the regular stores it seems. Sure no pricing like where she lives in Michigan.
If you put a plant in it’s original planter into a crock or other container without drainage just add some pea gravel or a few stones to the bottom. That way if water does drain out the plant isn’t sitting in it.
I, seriously get so happy when I see a beautiful basket..and I get the same question. 😂😂
Haha glad I'm not alone in this! 😄
I like that new beige bench too that you have at the end of your bed. It looks like a storage bench, too, very nice.🌸
Thank you!! 😊
Hello! As a longtime visitor/ resident to your wonderful town, this thrift shop is my favorite! We never know what treasures we will find in this little thrift store gem.
Shallow bowls like that are my favorites for pasta. That little bottle is a perfect little bud vase for the flowers your boys pick for you.
I seen u in the magazine, very nice, great finds also, great video n thank u for #haring! 😊❤️🎁💕⭐️
I have so many little jars like that! I started collecting because the little hands at my house were always picking me flowers the size of their little handfuls and I wanted to have vases to use for them! Many times I’d have a 4-5-6 tiny vases on my window sills filled with a little handful of weeds! 🥰 I was so hoping you’d buy it and was so glad you did!
I love little bottles, I put plants clippings and flowers in them. Just love them. I have so many different color ones. So fun.
Andrea, look your house plants up on-line, see what their growing conditions should be...i.e. light, watering,...and, south, north windows seem to be their favorites..
Beautiful thrifting finds!, ... your aesthetic, is quiet and peaceful, well loved, worn,...is my impression...love you.
I believe the baskets are Christmas bells but use them for whatever you like!
It’s crazy, when you held up that box from Thrive Market, your eyes and that box are the same color! Beautiful! Great finds thrifting! ❤️
You always find the best pieces when you thrift!!! I love those baskets!
Aww thank you!! 😊
Great haul! Everything had character & the colors were so pretty!
This thrift trip was sweet. The bowls are wonderful and I like the small crocks. Small plants will look great in them. Thank you for sharing.....Blessings!
Your bedroom always looks so peaceful.
I went thrifting yesterday, my first time in YEARS…and I walked away empty-handed! I went determined not to just buy something for the sake of buying, but wanted to love anything I bought. And…there was nothing to love. 😆 I go to antique stores a little more often and usually find at least one thing, but I have walked away empty-handed from those as well. 🤦🏻♀️
Aww thrift stores are definitely hit or miss for me. Good for you for being intentional with your shopping though!
Both thrift and antique stores can be hit or miss. I like the fact that you are selective in your buying choices. Good way to keep clutter at bay.
Crocks are so fun to put a hot curling iron in.
Always a pl going shopping with you!
Those baskets are bells. So save them for Christmas.
I do believe those are bells .
Hi there ❤love to see all your videos and your home is so very beautiful your a real inspiration to me .I live in the U.K. and our thrift shops are getting very expensive.like every thing at the minute.lots of love to you all .❤
Glad to support you with your sponsorship! You go girl! I love how you boxed it in with the vlog.
Love what you found. I think the baskets might have been like bells for Christmas. They are so cute.
The little wicker bells coulld be made into hanging lights.
Yes, I like that idea! 😀
Those little bell baskets to cute! You could make the intro lamp shades? Love your channel ❤️ can't wait for your next one.
Hi Andrea, I love your videos! Your thrift stores always have great things, like that copper kettle that I saw at the begining of the video. I've been looking for one just like that and can never find one. Well have fun with all your great finds.
Those baskets are bells, I believe. Nice finds!
Those are wicker bells. They're just a decoration, for like Christmas time.
Love this haul!!!❤
Totally love the baskets
Love baskets too.
Love your finds.
At our thrift store....they do something weird.... anything nice that put in glass enclosed cabinets and lock them. Then after a month they open it to an auction.....things they get for free ....so the people who might have able to get something nice once in awhile are already " knocked out of the ballpark... because I'm sure it is also "pickers" who buy things up for "resale" who get the most and the best of everything....
Love the bells.
Love everything you find on your thrift adventures! Have a great weekend everyone!! 🌸
Fun.
I too love baskets of all kinds and shapes! I was recently going through them and realized I need to fix a couple and clean them up for use in my sewing/craft room. My favourite one is 14" round with 2" sides on the bottom is a mechanism like a lazy Susan has so it can spin around. I also wanted to know what you use to clean copper pieces with. I have only a few but two of them are hopefully able to be cleaned up! Thank you!
I so enjoyed your video. You found some really nice items
How exciting! Can’t wait to see the multi-purpose laundry room when it’s done!
Love your home and your videos and your beautiful family. The laundry room guest room gardening... I'm a realtor so I would refer to it as a multifunction room
The bell baskets- are they the right size to hang in the middle of a wreath at Christmas time? Maybe a giant wreath over the mantle? Or an outdoor wreath in the peak of the roof?
I will definitely try that! 😀
You found some nice items. Great video, Andrea.
Those are wicker Christmas bells, they have similar ones on Amazon. I love your Channel, I have only one complaint, I wish you were on daily.
They look like bells. So cute!
That's what I think too! Thanks!! 🤗
Love your thrift shopping!!!!! It shows us that you can find good amazing items for our homes ♥️
Thank you!! 😊
Hi Andrea beautiful and fun finds ☺️ so good to see you 🤗☺️. The bigger basket would look super cute with clothes pins and the other could hold pretty mason jars mason jars maybe with soaps and scent beads 👍🏻
I loved your haul. My favorite is the set of the three dishes.❤
Thank you!! I love those too! 🤗
Beautiful picks Andrea! :) Those prices are awesome in comparison to the prices here in Portland, OR and PNW area. The prices at thrift stores just keep going up.
I liked all the things you found . I was glad to go thrifting again with you.
Aww thank you! So glad you enjoyed it!! 🤗
I just purchased the Better Homes & Garden Magazine that featured your home!
The prices you paid were very reasonable. The thrift shop you went to is for charity. It's not like Goodwill, where the CEO is making a six figure salary. We need to support our local, smaller shops.
This Thrive Market info is so timely for me! I’m likely to be getting knee replacement surgery on my right (driving) knee in the coming months. I likely won’t be able to drive for several weeks afterwards so the month to month membership and various diet options (I eat a lot of organic and I’m dairy free) sounds perfect. I haven’t thought about a service before because I have good local options and being retired I can go when there aren’t crowds. But planning for knee surgery had me wondering what I was going to do. This sounds awesome!
Yes I love your videos
Aww thank you!! 😊
I really want to try Thrive, I’ve heard so many good things ☺️
Looks very bell shaped🔔🔔
I haven't been thrifting in what feels like forever!!?? 3 weeks maybe lol 😆 but seeing this and already feeling like I wanted to go now I have to go! ☺️
Aww haha I'm glad you enjoyed it! 😀
I don't know what those little baskets are either....but I would have bought them as well🤣
Haha glad I'm not the only one! 😄
Wicker bells!
Those are wicker Christmas bells
You have a great eye.
I want to go thrifting with you!
Love your boots!! Please tell me what brand they are xx
nice👌🏻
Baskets are so homey.
You really scored on your finds. I thought the prices were good compared to what they have been at thrift stores. I am a basket person also....I saw a sign once that said "I'm a basket case"...I should have bought it. Years ago I even made my own Longaberger basket. I have a few of those. Thank you for sharing your lovely finds! I always enjoy your videos!!
Aww thank you! So glad you enjoyed it!! And I love that saying haha 😄
Love your boots. Could you send link please x
hey girl- loved the video! Such great finds😀😉 you make me want to go shopping☺ Question- Do you know what has happened to Cami from Tidbits? I just love her to and have noticed she hasn't posted anything on youtube or her blog in a few weeks. Worried - I hope her and her family are ok😍
I had one of those baskets, in red. I thought it was a wicker bell, but there’s nothing on the inside. I haven’t used it yet because I’m not exactly sure what to do with. 🤷♀️
Love your videos. Would you mind sharing the book title that you purchased? I’ve been wanting to learn more about gut health. Thank you.
Sure! Here's the link: rstyle.me/+5VVBeg9FIX2OefY2it4R0A
@@PineandProspectHome Thank you. I keep reading that our gut health is the first step to our overall health.
