Hey everyone! Just wanted to come back to this video after the new Skull Island Anime and update the list so far! I'll do the same with Godzilla X Kong, the new Godzilla graphic novel coming out in the Legendary Omnibus, Skull Island Season 2, and the fights in Legacy of Monsters! I'll throw in the timestamp as to where I would place each fight and bumping down the fight before it. Kong Vs Killer Chameleons: 24:50 Kong Vs the Killer Chameleons was such a fun and amazing fight sequence! I would say it is better than Kong Vs Ramarak, but while I'm still processing both Skull Island Anime fights, I just think these fights were so much more hands-on and intuitive. It's still a Kong who is young and learning the ropes, so he makes some mistakes. The choreography is fun, the stakes are high, and the action is shot spectacularly! Granted it is an anime and they can get away with more, it still just results in a cooler fight scene in my opinion! The only downside are the chameleons themselves. They're way too small, they do not look like a challenge for Kong in the slightest so him struggling with them was a bit bizarre. Other then that, it is an incredible fight! Kong Vs The Kraken: 30:42 Guys I was REALLY struggling with this fight scene. It is an absolutely incredible fight and I fucking ADORE it. I love the fact that Kong is taking on a much larger monster and that he doesn't get saved. He holds his own, he fights a monster who is visually phenomenal to look at, and the choreography is INSANE! I just love this fight. It has potential to be the best fight scene in the Monsterverse for me personally, but I just think Godzilla Vs Kong Rounds 2 and 3 is so much more visually spectacular yet what brings it down is the lack of creative fight choreography and more evenly matched fights. But my love for both monsters and the fact that it's in glorious CG is what gives it the VERY VERY minor edge. It comes VERY close to being the best fight scene in the entire Monsterverse and I CANNOT WAIT to see more from Season 2!!!
I loved the fight between Kong and Camazotz. Although it was short, it was fun to see a full grown Kong fight actually fight another Titan, and a flying one at that
Before I actually watch this video, apparently toho have a stupid contract where Godzilla can’t get “badly injured” which is why the monsters probably can’t do anything rlly
I keep hearing things like this about Toho, but Adam said Toho was actually hands free. Is there any *proof* of this contract or is it just a made up rumor?
@@kingcrunchking I don't remember the exact article but there was an article that had a list of the restricted rights as well as the date of when toho would be taking back the lisence for Godzilla. Search it up, you'll eventually find it.

Exhibit A: this comment section. It doesn’t even make sense seeing as how the OD literally stopped Godzilla’s heart and Ghidorahs drop from space badly injured him. So this rumor is not true.

@@lennypensante5309 Exactly. With two huge of the directors being giant Godzilla fanboys and Godzilla having more movies, the MV feels very biased towards Godzilla. Especially since they gave Kong a literal Godzilla killing weapon and still made him lose.
Looking back on it your completely right when it comes to the Kotm fight scenes while I enjoyed them they have a lot of negatives most of the enjoyment I get from the fights are the main highlights rather than the actual fighting such as when ghidorah bites into the electrical power plant and releases all that energy it’s in the middle of the fight and that kinda made me like the fight, but after watching you for a while i can understand not glorifying the whole fight for only few scenes are actually enjoyable
Here we go! I think if the two Godzilla films followed the same quantity and quality of action that Skull Island and GVK had, they would've been amazing. My Top Five Fights: 1. Godzilla vs Kong (Hong Kong) 2. Godzilla vs Kong (Tasman Sea) 3. Godzilla and Kong vs Mechagodzilla 4. Kong vs the Skull Devil 5. Godzilla vs the Mutos Amazing fights. Little to no cutaways. And when we do cutaway, it's actually important: Mechagodzilla awakening, destroying the Muto nest, etc. I only put G and K vs Mechagodzilla in third because I wish the team up would've been a bit longer and have had a bit more team-up moves. Although in terms of comic fights, I think Godzilla vs Tiamat was pretty good. What would your next ranking be?

I'm sorry if i have wrote too much, but i wanted to be clair. For me the battle between Camazotz and Kong wasn't really a battle, don't get me wrong I really liked the way the fight, it was choreographed and drawn, but Camazotz with the exception of his sonic impulse, wasn't trying to hurt Kong . Think about it, Camazotz's wings are literally made up of blades, and his horns, claws and tail also look very pointed, but all he was doing was lifting Kong and dropping him from a high altitude, as Ghidorah did with Godzilla in the battle for Boston, only that here it was did it repeatedly. Obviously that's an impressive feat, since Kong will weigh something like 70,000-80,000 tons, but I felt like Camazotz was trying to drop Kong, into the hole he came out of with his minions. This is also seen in a kind of mural at the end of Kingdom Kong, where a member of the species of Godzilla, most likely dropped a member of the species of Kong, in that same hole Camazotz came out of.
My personal top 5: 1: Godzilla VS Ghidorah (boston) (i love the sky drop and wing lightning lol) 2: Godzilla VS Kong (hong kong) 3: Godzilla & Kong VS Mecha Goji 4: Godzilla VS Kong (tasman sea) 5: Skull Crawler VS Mecha G (if you could even call it a fight) EDIT: Goji and Kong V MG has been dropped down to 3 and Goji VS Ghid (boston) has been upped to 1.
I wouldn't say Kong depended on the axe in HK, he did really well without it and proved he didn't need it to give Godzilla an ass kicking. Knocking blood out of him with his fists, sending him flying with a drop kick, throwing him into a building, etc. He did exceptionally well.
Yeah he only used it to block the atomic breathe, make a huge cut into his thigh, and then the money shot where he almost bonks his head. Other than that he did pretty well by just showing off his advantages like his speed and WWE type of fighting moves.

I think MechaG wound still win, But the fight Def would’ve lasted like 15-20 mins longer and Godzilla Def would’ve done far better and would really give MechaG hell

I'm only doing movies. 23 Godzilla vs King Ghidorah round 2 (Definitely the worst in the Monsterverse, Godzilla jumping out of the water to grab Ghidorah and Godzilla ripping of Ghidorah's head was cool but I just wish Ghidorah could somewhat put up a fight underwater). 22 Rodan vs Ghidorah (I wish they could've done more in this fight. The shot of Rodan and Ghidorah charging at each other was one of the best shots in the film though but too short, and they could've done more). 21 Military vs Male Muto (This is the first good fight on the list. Its just so low because of how forgettable it is). 20 Burning Godzilla vs Ghidorah (This battle was decent as its the only fight that doesn't cut away but its still really short and well its incredibly one-sided). 19 Military vs Mother-Long Legs (Good battle, enjoyable and brutal but its really forgettable). 18 Godzilla vs Military (Its only about 15 seconds but the cgi is freaking beautiful). 17 Godzilla on the Golden Gate Bridge (Its not really a battle thats the only reason why its this low). 16 Skullcrawler vs humans (One of the best human vs Monster battles and both actually do damage to each other). 15 Kong vs Mire Squid (Even though its only 30 seconds, it still has amazing visuals, its in daytime and seeing Kong eating the squid's tentacles was funny). 14 Mechagodzilla vs Skullcrawler (The cgi is great and Mechagodzilla's reveal is awesome but it's a one-shot fight scene so...) 13 Rodan vs Mothra (Outside of the fact that they pretty much only fight in the background, I think this was a fun battle and I'm glad Mothra was able to hold her own against Rodan). 12 Kong vs Military (Fun to see Kong and humans do damage to each other but you don't feel shit for this Kong in this film). 11 Kong vs 2 Skullcrawlers (Super short but still a fun entertaining treat). 10 Kong vs Warbat's (Awesome to see Kong beat up the warbat's and use one as a bat but wish he didn't get saved by the humans). 9 Godzilla vs King Ghidorah round 1 (The soundtrack is great, introduction to Godzilla and Ghidorah were great and while I wish Ghidorah more powerful, this is still a great fight imo). 8 Kong vs The Big One (Even though this is the weakest of the final battles imo, I still think the visuals are incredible and there are some great moments in there). 7 Godzilla vs Mutos (The cgi in this fight is absolutely phenomenal and the atomic breath reveal and kiss of death are just fantastic). 6 Godzilla vs King Ghidorah final battle (I can understand why people don't like this fight but I thought it was awesome and Ghidorah has some pretty cool attack moves (for the couple times he actually gets a hit in). 5 Rodan vs jets (Definitely the best scene in the film. Great music, great special effects for the most part and we get to see how powerful Rodan is compared to humanity). 4 Kong vs helicopters (awesome introduction to Skull Island, amazing cgi and cinematography and it just shows how powerful Kong is). 3 Godzilla vs Kong round 1 (Absolutely fantastic cgi, barley any cutting and it clearly shows Kong is the underdog this film really didn't hold back with the battles between the 2). 2 Godzilla and Kong vs Mechagodzilla (Although it was predictable and only about 2 and a half minutes, it doesn't make it any less awesome and Kong's finisher on Mechagodzilla is now the best finisher in the Monsterverse. 1 Godzilla vs Kong Hong Kong (This wasnt a surprise, awesome cgi, giving both kaiju a chance to lay some hard hits on the other, and pretty much no cuts to the humans, this is undeniably the best fight in the Monsterverse).
18:50 Not really The Warbats have a physical structure pretty similar to an anaconda, they even do the constriction thing. A big Anaconda can reach 1200 Kg of constriction force, or maybe more. These snakes have to bite their prey to start the suffocation. In reality an anaconda couldn't kill a Gorilla cause they're pretty slow, so as soon it bites the ape, this one would ripp off his head. But in this case the Warbats are big, strong and pretty damn fast, so they have the speed to bite and start the constriction, just how this one did to Kong in the movie. And due to their inmense constriction force, it was impossible for Kong to break free. And if we add the fact that Kong has never fought these creatures, is logic that he couldn't predict and block the attack. I do even think that a Warbat could give big problems to Goji if he has the chance to dodge his atomic breath and bite. In 2019 Ghidorah did suffocate him when he was being lifted to the space, and ended knocked out for a few minutes. So yeah, a Warbat is by far capable of suffocate both Kong and even Godzilla if he has the chance to bite and wrap his body on them.
I think people(myself included) like the kotm fights is because of certain scenes within the fights, for example rodan and ghidorah rushing to one another before colliding is the highlight of that fight. Godzilla leaping out of the water to grab ghidorah, and godzilla ripping off gbidorahs head is the highlight of the underwater fight rodan snatching mothra and mothra stabbing rodan are the highlights of their fight. Godzillas first use of atomic breath and the stare down are the best moments of the arctic fight
Rodan and Ghidorah colliding is the ONLY highlight of that fight, lol, and it's instantly cut away. Other then that the two just spin mid air and it's incredibly boring. Godzilla leaps out of the water and catches Ghidorah off-screen and framed in a poor way, covered up by the bad weather effects and filters, and Godzilla ripping off the neck is the only thing we can see in that fight. Rodan snatching Mothra is barely visible (especially in motion) and looks ugly, and then they fight off screen via spinning together. The stab happens at the end, and by then you're dying to see them fight but it's cut short. Godzilla used his atomic breath once in that fight. You see, these aren't fight scenes. These are poor excuses for fight scenes. Nothing is actually happening. Mothra and Rodan and Rodan and Ghidorah just spin mid air covered by awful weather effects and filters, same with the Godzilla fights. They are bad fights that do not deliver, and everyone defends them because..reasons... If people admit their biases and set those aside to debate the fights from a technical standpoint, one would realize the fights are terrible and have nothing to offer.
@@KingKong19100 no I completely agree with you, the fights are bad, I'm just saying my point that alot of people pick a certain memorable moment from the fight and say that the fight was good only because of that scene. For example in the original king kong movie, the highlight of the fight is the jaw breaking scene. The "fight" is just them rolling around and tumbling. People are quick to lock onto a particular moment and praise the scene for it.

As a kong fan, I'm happy he's getting another movie soon but the fact that its gonna randomly give kong a son, when its confirmed that he's the only one of his kind left, is damaging to his character. Plus, it also ruins potential with his development with Jia.
Sup dude! I definitely plan on making that video soon, but we share the same line of thought. It's cool, but we JUST saw Kong as a kid. We JUST got our new titan Kong, him having a son would be forced imo. It's way too early!
@@KingKong19100 glad I'm not the only one with this thought. While I don't necessarily think giving kong a kid is a bad idea, it just seems way too soon. Plus, I sort of had the feeling that kong considers Jia as his family since they both are the last of their kind and have a strong bond. I would rather have a hollow earth exploration movie where they follow kong once again to study and further explain the geology and ecosystems and probably even bring back Camozatz since I think he's the perfect opponent to Kong( I also like to think of him as a mini ghidorah but for kong.)
0:02 I dont think kong is 337 feet, I think he is atleast 350-60. Just look, Godzila is standing at his full height (393ft) and kong is just under his shoulder, I just cant see him being 337 ft, what do u think about it?
@Nirael O'neal Yhh that makes more sense. Personally I think he should be atleast 360. The idea of him being shorter than behemoth annoys me ngl. Idk why. Even tho king is most likely stronger than behemoth regardless of the height different or similarity

For me the best fights are: G14 San Francisco battle, Kong Skull Island Helicopter attack, Kong vs Ramarak, and Godzilla vs Kong vs Mechagodzilla. None of the kotm battles were good, all of them were meh (to bad so many so-called “fans” praise these battles like they’re amazing when they are not).
They could’ve given Rodman fireballs he shoots from his mouth and attack ghidorah by dive bombing the hiding again like in how to train your dragon when toothless fought the red death.
Many of these battles had such potential like Godzilla King Of The Monsters, that was one of the most anticipated battles of the Monsterverse for me, I was more excited for this one than even Godzilla Vs Kong, because I thought we were getting a modernized version of Ghidorah The Three Headed Monster, the most anticipated battle I wanted in that movie was Mothra, Rodan and Godzilla Vs King Ghidorah! But we got something more along the lines of Godzilla Final Wars! And that pissed me off! Kong Skull Island: Louds of fun, great action, good fights, a few decent characters you care about. Weakest soundtrack of the Monsterverse but I still like it. And the end credits, wow at the time I was so ready for what came next! Godzilla 2014: Decent plot, Bryan Cranston was amazing but was gone to soon and I really wish he was in the later Monsterverse movies. Flat characters, not the worst out the Godzilla movies but not the greatest either. Too many cut aways, decent fights when the film makers aren't so stingy. Good and intense soundtrack at times it sounds like something out of a horror movie. Godzilla King Of The Monsters!: This was the most anticipated movie of the Monsterverse for fans and I remember being how excited I was, especially coming off the disappointing of the Godzilla anime trogily, and I thought the 2019 movie would be more than satisfying and make up for, and if it lived up to my expectations this would have become my favorite Godzilla movie. King Of The Monsters fell short and while I did give a high score of 8.3/10 overtime it has dropped significantly to 4/10 it is honestly disappointing especially waiting half a decade for a sequel, and for the kind of movie we got it feels like it took less than five years and more like two years at the very least three years at most. As for battles I thought 2014 cut away too much and for a long time I didn't know which anoied me more but sense King Of The Monsters was supposed to be a sequel that would go bigger and better than the last it King Of The Monsters has more horrific cut aways, and the monster fights in this had such potential and they completely squandered that opportunity. There are still certain elements I enjoy about this movie the negatives out weigh the positives. 😮💨 Soundtrack is probably my favorite of the Monsterverse! Godzilla Vs Kong: I went into this one with very low expectations because I didn't want to be massively disappointed again, but this the best film of the Monsterverse so far and while it didn't meet my expectations prior to 2019 it met my expectations at the time it came out, and yeah it had its bad elements obviously, find this more enjoyable than any of the Monsterverse films. Characters worst of all these movies, good action, least amount of cut aways. The Soundtrack is a toss-up on being the second best score in the Monsterverse, for me it ties with Godzilla 2014 but under 2019. 1. Godzilla Vs Kong best movie so far! 2. Kong Skull Island flawed but a fun movie. 3. Godzilla 2014 A decent movie that was good but could have been better. 4. Godzilla King Of The Monsters the most anticipated film was the most disappointing one and it really makes me a bit sad this really could have been the best or one of the better films of the Monsterverse but it's far too late to change it now.

In king of the monsters no at least when we're following the humans the action is still going on and the effects of the monsters is still happening. Yes we still want to see the fight with the monsters but that's still a step up from showing them then cutaway to the aftermath that's lazy
In KOTM the weather effects are already bad as it is, it was advertised as a huge monster brawl, you have the big four in one film with a huge Hollywood budget, and we still cut away every few seconds as the monsters fight in the background, with terrible choreography at that. This is why the KOTM fights are way worse.
@@KingKong19100 the weather makes sense ghidorah was screwing things up by making category 6 hurricanes everywhere he goes till the point where it spreads across the planet. Yes the cutaways are annoying but the effects are happening while the fights are happening off screen it makes it more intense and when we see the fights they're pretty good besides these monsters are walking tanks with special abilities they're not gonna be jumping around like their Kong
Great List And Video Dude! My top 5 battles would probably be 1.) Godzilla vs Kong (Hong Kong) 2.) Godzilla vs Kong (Ocean battle) 3.) Camazotz Vs Kong 4.) Kong and Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla 5.) Kong vs Ramarak Camazotz and Kong's fight is also an extremely loveable battle for me. It's practically Kong's version of Ghidorah. The art is The best in the Monsterverse (Thank you, Zid) and Camazotz is a great new addition. I adore him and his Hellspawn army. Plus Camazotz shares a sonic scream ability with Jinshin Mushi, Which is also a plus. #CamazotzRules lol. Honorable mentions for the Top 5 would be -Godzilla vs Tiamat -Kong vs Helicopter Fleet -Godzilla vs The M.U.T.O's -Kong Species vs Skull crawler Species -Scylla Vs Godzilla
@@mr.milkman3893 You got your wish! It's likely camazotz didn't die from that final punch kong gave him, It's gonna take Alot more than a Broken jaw and missing teeth to kill off such a titan. Seeing Him and His army on screen would be Great. Especially if it has cgi and fight scenes on par with KSI's. I want him to have atleast one more appearance before the Monsterverse ends.

Plus the stats for Camozatz near the end panel of the comic mentions that Camozatz and his species traveled down into the hollow earth and live in the caverns there. This is another reason why I'd prefer a normal hollow earth exploration kong movie rather than the son of kong idea that's getting tossed around lol.
I agree that Kotm has bad fights but I enjoy them because of the way the monsters fight(for example Rodan fights like a bird and Ghidorah fights like a snake) My ranking subjective: 1:GvK:Best visuals and choreography 2:Ksi: pretty solid fights 3:Kotm:A lot of cutaways and bad editing but I really like the way the Monsters fight and move 4:G14: good scale but lackluster imo My ranking objective: 1:GvK 2:Ksi 3:g14 4:Kotm
Great list dude! The reason I never understand why people enjoy the fights is because of all the cutting away and the shotty visuals. The choreography is bad too. You say Ghidorah fights like a snake, like when did this happen? Sure he slithers towards Godzilla when he's down, but other than that he only constricted Godzilla after the chokeslam. It's the same case as people saying all three necks had different personalities. Like... *really* ? Only for a couple seconds in the arctic, maybe. Rodan fights like a bird when dispatching the military, which is cool, but against other monsters like Ghidorah and Mothra? Nah. They just spin. It's boring. It isn't exhilarating or we don't get to see the full potential of their fighting styles. It's bad and I see no reason why anyone enjoys those fights.
Yeah. Still could have been a more visually entertaining fight that wasn’t so fast or boring. It’s shot TERRIBLY. HUGE disappoint compared to the concept art we got for that film depicting said underwater battle.
I feel like your purposely reminding me how “bad” King of the monsters is when really it’s no different than any other Godzilla movie and come on let’s be real here the final fight in godzilla 2014 is not better than the final fight in king of the monsters, also may I add stop constantly telling us that the Titans godzilla fights run away to power up, yeah! He tanked the Atomic Breath (Heat Ray) which Wingard said is stronger than Mechagodzilla's Proton Scream (Mechagodzilla's Proton Scream only beat Godzilla's Atomic Breath while it was 50% weaker), so yea Kong could tank it.

If I made kotm I'd have it much more like 2014 in tone but gvk in fights easy to see serozara be the main lead ghidorah be a bad ass winning 3 fights 1 against godzilla one against rodan and beating both of them and the final fight be in Tokyo.

If Godzilla just bodies Ghidorah, whose supposedly the "strongest titan" ever, than Godzilla should have a tougher time with him. And KK19100 isn't saying that he wanted Godzilla to lose ultimately, just to at least lose one round or become extremely weakened from ghidorah, who again, is supposed to be a major threat to Godzilla and humanity. Making Godzilla op and making his classic opponent since the 60s extremely weak and act like a total wimp compared to goji, is not a good staked fight whatsoever. Also, what kind of excuse is that? Just because Godzilla is getting another movie doesn't mean he can't lose. I mean, look at kong, he lost yet it's been confirmed that he's getting another movie. 1. Yes but Shinomura was still alive and Godzilla didn't kill him. That was my point. 2. No, Muto Prime is not trying to tire out Godzilla. She is retreating in order to gain enough power to actually stand long enough of a chance to implant her eggs in him. That doesn't excuse the fights being badly rendered and choreographed. 3. We don't want to see Godzilla completely lose all fights. Personally I'd rather have Godzilla struggle with Ghidorah than see him completely own Ghidorah throughout the movie. You're trying to excuse horrific fight choreography and writing because Godzilla is...gonna be in another movie anyways? That's not exactly right. The fights were still done poorly.

Hey everyone! Just wanted to come back to this video after the new Skull Island Anime and update the list so far! I'll do the same with Godzilla X Kong, the new Godzilla graphic novel coming out in the Legendary Omnibus, Skull Island Season 2, and the fights in Legacy of Monsters! I'll throw in the timestamp as to where I would place each fight and bumping down the fight before it.
Kong Vs Killer Chameleons: 24:50
Kong Vs the Killer Chameleons was such a fun and amazing fight sequence! I would say it is better than Kong Vs Ramarak, but while I'm still processing both Skull Island Anime fights, I just think these fights were so much more hands-on and intuitive. It's still a Kong who is young and learning the ropes, so he makes some mistakes. The choreography is fun, the stakes are high, and the action is shot spectacularly! Granted it is an anime and they can get away with more, it still just results in a cooler fight scene in my opinion! The only downside are the chameleons themselves. They're way too small, they do not look like a challenge for Kong in the slightest so him struggling with them was a bit bizarre. Other then that, it is an incredible fight!
Kong Vs The Kraken: 30:42
Guys I was REALLY struggling with this fight scene. It is an absolutely incredible fight and I fucking ADORE it. I love the fact that Kong is taking on a much larger monster and that he doesn't get saved. He holds his own, he fights a monster who is visually phenomenal to look at, and the choreography is INSANE! I just love this fight. It has potential to be the best fight scene in the Monsterverse for me personally, but I just think Godzilla Vs Kong Rounds 2 and 3 is so much more visually spectacular yet what brings it down is the lack of creative fight choreography and more evenly matched fights. But my love for both monsters and the fact that it's in glorious CG is what gives it the VERY VERY minor edge. It comes VERY close to being the best fight scene in the entire Monsterverse and I CANNOT WAIT to see more from Season 2!!!
I loved the fight between Kong and Camazotz. Although it was short, it was fun to see a full grown Kong fight actually fight another Titan, and a flying one at that

Looking back on it your completely right when it comes to the Kotm fight scenes while I enjoyed them they have a lot of negatives most of the enjoyment I get from the fights are the main highlights rather than the actual fighting such as when ghidorah bites into the electrical power plant and releases all that energy it’s in the middle of the fight and that kinda made me like the fight, but after watching you for a while i can understand not glorifying the whole fight for only few scenes are actually enjoyable

4. Kong vs the Skull Devil

Amazing fights. Little to no cutaways. And when we do cutaway, it's actually important: Mechagodzilla awakening, destroying the Muto nest, etc.
I only put G and K vs Mechagodzilla in third because I wish the team up would've been a bit longer and have had a bit more team-up moves.
Although in terms of comic fights, I think Godzilla vs Tiamat was pretty good.

I'm sorry if i have wrote too much, but i wanted to be clair.
For me the battle between Camazotz and Kong wasn't really a battle, don't get me wrong I really liked the way the fight, it was choreographed and drawn, but Camazotz with the exception of his sonic impulse, wasn't trying to hurt Kong .
Think about it, Camazotz's wings are literally made up of blades, and his horns, claws and tail also look very pointed, but all he was doing was lifting Kong and dropping him from a high altitude, as Ghidorah did with Godzilla in the battle for Boston, only that here it was did it repeatedly.
Obviously that's an impressive feat, since Kong will weigh something like 70,000-80,000 tons, but I felt like Camazotz was trying to drop Kong, into the hole he came out of with his minions.
This is also seen in a kind of mural at the end of Kingdom Kong, where a member of the species of Godzilla, most likely dropped a member of the species of Kong, in that same hole Camazotz came out of.

I wouldn't say Kong depended on the axe in HK, he did really well without it and proved he didn't need it to give Godzilla an ass kicking. Knocking blood out of him with his fists, sending him flying with a drop kick, throwing him into a building, etc. He did exceptionally well.
He used his pure strength more then his axe he only used it to block and get the finishing blow
Yeah he only used it to block the atomic breathe, make a huge cut into his thigh, and then the money shot where he almost bonks his head. Other than that he did pretty well by just showing off his advantages like his speed and WWE type of fighting moves.

I think MechaG wound still win, But the fight Def would’ve lasted like 15-20 mins longer and Godzilla Def would’ve done far better and would really give MechaG hell

23 Godzilla vs King Ghidorah round 2 (Definitely the worst in the Monsterverse, Godzilla jumping out of the water to grab Ghidorah and Godzilla ripping of Ghidorah's head was cool but I just wish Ghidorah could somewhat put up a fight underwater).
22 Rodan vs Ghidorah (I wish they could've done more in this fight. The shot of Rodan and Ghidorah charging at each other was one of the best shots in the film though but too short, and they could've done more).
21 Military vs Male Muto (This is the first good fight on the list. Its just so low because of how forgettable it is).
20 Burning Godzilla vs Ghidorah (This battle was decent as its the only fight that doesn't cut away but its still really short and well its incredibly one-sided).
19 Military vs Mother-Long Legs (Good battle, enjoyable and brutal but its really forgettable).
18 Godzilla vs Military (Its only about 15 seconds but the cgi is freaking beautiful).
17 Godzilla on the Golden Gate Bridge (Its not really a battle thats the only reason why its this low).
16 Skullcrawler vs humans (One of the best human vs Monster battles and both actually do damage to each other).
15 Kong vs Mire Squid (Even though its only 30 seconds, it still has amazing visuals, its in daytime and seeing Kong eating the squid's tentacles was funny).
14 Mechagodzilla vs Skullcrawler (The cgi is great and Mechagodzilla's reveal is awesome but it's a one-shot fight scene so...)
13 Rodan vs Mothra (Outside of the fact that they pretty much only fight in the background, I think this was a fun battle and I'm glad Mothra was able to hold her own against Rodan).
12 Kong vs Military (Fun to see Kong and humans do damage to each other but you don't feel shit for this Kong in this film).
11 Kong vs 2 Skullcrawlers (Super short but still a fun entertaining treat).
10 Kong vs Warbat's (Awesome to see Kong beat up the warbat's and use one as a bat but wish he didn't get saved by the humans).
9 Godzilla vs King Ghidorah round 1 (The soundtrack is great, introduction to Godzilla and Ghidorah were great and while I wish Ghidorah more powerful, this is still a great fight imo).
8 Kong vs The Big One (Even though this is the weakest of the final battles imo, I still think the visuals are incredible and there are some great moments in there).
7 Godzilla vs Mutos (The cgi in this fight is absolutely phenomenal and the atomic breath reveal and kiss of death are just fantastic).
6 Godzilla vs King Ghidorah final battle (I can understand why people don't like this fight but I thought it was awesome and Ghidorah has some pretty cool attack moves (for the couple times he actually gets a hit in).
5 Rodan vs jets (Definitely the best scene in the film. Great music, great special effects for the most part and we get to see how powerful Rodan is compared to humanity).
4 Kong vs helicopters (awesome introduction to Skull Island, amazing cgi and cinematography and it just shows how powerful Kong is).
3 Godzilla vs Kong round 1 (Absolutely fantastic cgi, barley any cutting and it clearly shows Kong is the underdog this film really didn't hold back with the battles between the 2).
2 Godzilla and Kong vs Mechagodzilla (Although it was predictable and only about 2 and a half minutes, it doesn't make it any less awesome and Kong's finisher on Mechagodzilla is now the best finisher in the Monsterverse.
1 Godzilla vs Kong Hong Kong (This wasnt a surprise, awesome cgi, giving both kaiju a chance to lay some hard hits on the other, and pretty much no cuts to the humans, this is undeniably the best fight in the Monsterverse).

The Warbats have a physical structure pretty similar to an anaconda, they even do the constriction thing. A big Anaconda can reach 1200 Kg of constriction force, or maybe more. These snakes have to bite their prey to start the suffocation. In reality an anaconda couldn't kill a Gorilla cause they're pretty slow, so as soon it bites the ape, this one would ripp off his head. But in this case the Warbats are big, strong and pretty damn fast, so they have the speed to bite and start the constriction, just how this one did to Kong in the movie. And due to their inmense constriction force, it was impossible for Kong to break free. And if we add the fact that Kong has never fought these creatures, is logic that he couldn't predict and block the attack. I do even think that a Warbat could give big problems to Goji if he has the chance to dodge his atomic breath and bite. In 2019 Ghidorah did suffocate him when he was being lifted to the space, and ended knocked out for a few minutes. So yeah, a Warbat is by far capable of suffocate both Kong and even Godzilla if he has the chance to bite and wrap his body on them.

I think people(myself included) like the kotm fights is because of certain scenes within the fights, for example rodan and ghidorah rushing to one another before colliding is the highlight of that fight. Godzilla leaping out of the water to grab ghidorah, and godzilla ripping off gbidorahs head is the highlight of the underwater fight rodan snatching mothra and mothra stabbing rodan are the highlights of their fight. Godzillas first use of atomic breath and the stare down are the best moments of the arctic fight
Rodan and Ghidorah colliding is the ONLY highlight of that fight, lol, and it's instantly cut away. Other then that the two just spin mid air and it's incredibly boring. Godzilla leaps out of the water and catches Ghidorah off-screen and framed in a poor way, covered up by the bad weather effects and filters, and Godzilla ripping off the neck is the only thing we can see in that fight. Rodan snatching Mothra is barely visible (especially in motion) and looks ugly, and then they fight off screen via spinning together. The stab happens at the end, and by then you're dying to see them fight but it's cut short. Godzilla used his atomic breath once in that fight. You see, these aren't fight scenes. These are poor excuses for fight scenes. Nothing is actually happening. Mothra and Rodan and Rodan and Ghidorah just spin mid air covered by awful weather effects and filters, same with the Godzilla fights. They are bad fights that do not deliver, and everyone defends them because..reasons... If people admit their biases and set those aside to debate the fights from a technical standpoint, one would realize the fights are terrible and have nothing to offer.
@@KingKong19100 no I completely agree with you, the fights are bad, I'm just saying my point that alot of people pick a certain memorable moment from the fight and say that the fight was good only because of that scene. For example in the original king kong movie, the highlight of the fight is the jaw breaking scene. The "fight" is just them rolling around and tumbling. People are quick to lock onto a particular moment and praise the scene for it.

Plus, I sort of had the feeling that kong considers Jia as his family since they both are the last of their kind and have a strong bond. I would rather have a hollow earth exploration movie where they follow kong once again to study and further explain the geology and ecosystems and probably even bring back Camozatz since I think he's the perfect opponent to Kong( I also like to think of him as a mini ghidorah but for kong.)

For me the best fights are: G14 San Francisco battle, Kong Skull Island Helicopter attack, Kong vs Ramarak, and Godzilla vs Kong vs Mechagodzilla.
None of the kotm battles were good, all of them were meh (to bad so many so-called “fans” praise these battles like they’re amazing when they are not).

Many of these battles had such potential like Godzilla King Of The Monsters, that was one of the most anticipated battles of the Monsterverse for me, I was more excited for this one than even Godzilla Vs Kong, because I thought we were getting a modernized version of Ghidorah The Three Headed Monster, the most anticipated battle I wanted in that movie was Mothra, Rodan and Godzilla Vs King Ghidorah! But we got something more along the lines of Godzilla Final Wars! And that pissed me off!
Kong Skull Island: Louds of fun, great action, good fights, a few decent characters you care about. Weakest soundtrack of the Monsterverse but I still like it. And the end credits, wow at the time I was so ready for what came next!
Godzilla 2014: Decent plot, Bryan Cranston was amazing but was gone to soon and I really wish he was in the later Monsterverse movies. Flat characters, not the worst out the Godzilla movies but not the greatest either. Too many cut aways, decent fights when the film makers aren't so stingy. Good and intense soundtrack at times it sounds like something out of a horror movie.
Godzilla King Of The Monsters!: This was the most anticipated movie of the Monsterverse for fans and I remember being how excited I was, especially coming off the disappointing of the Godzilla anime trogily, and I thought the 2019 movie would be more than satisfying and make up for, and if it lived up to my expectations this would have become my favorite Godzilla movie. King Of The Monsters fell short and while I did give a high score of 8.3/10 overtime it has dropped significantly to 4/10 it is honestly disappointing especially waiting half a decade for a sequel, and for the kind of movie we got it feels like it took less than five years and more like two years at the very least three years at most. As for battles I thought 2014 cut away too much and for a long time I didn't know which anoied me more but sense King Of The Monsters was supposed to be a sequel that would go bigger and better than the last it King Of The Monsters has more horrific cut aways, and the monster fights in this had such potential and they completely squandered that opportunity. There are still certain elements I enjoy about this movie the negatives out weigh the positives. 😮💨 Soundtrack is probably my favorite of the Monsterverse!
Godzilla Vs Kong: I went into this one with very low expectations because I didn't want to be massively disappointed again, but this the best film of the Monsterverse so far and while it didn't meet my expectations prior to 2019 it met my expectations at the time it came out, and yeah it had its bad elements obviously, find this more enjoyable than any of the Monsterverse films. Characters worst of all these movies, good action, least amount of cut aways. The Soundtrack is a toss-up on being the second best score in the Monsterverse, for me it ties with Godzilla 2014 but under 2019.

In king of the monsters no at least when we're following the humans the action is still going on and the effects of the monsters is still happening. Yes we still want to see the fight with the monsters but that's still a step up from showing them then cutaway to the aftermath that's lazy
In KOTM the weather effects are already bad as it is, it was advertised as a huge monster brawl, you have the big four in one film with a huge Hollywood budget, and we still cut away every few seconds as the monsters fight in the background, with terrible choreography at that. This is why the KOTM fights are way worse.
@@KingKong19100 the weather makes sense ghidorah was screwing things up by making category 6 hurricanes everywhere he goes till the point where it spreads across the planet. Yes the cutaways are annoying but the effects are happening while the fights are happening off screen it makes it more intense and when we see the fights they're pretty good besides these monsters are walking tanks with special abilities they're not gonna be jumping around like their Kong

Camazotz and Kong's fight is also an extremely loveable battle for me. It's practically Kong's version of Ghidorah. The art is The best in the Monsterverse (Thank you, Zid) and Camazotz is a great new addition. I adore him and his Hellspawn army. Plus Camazotz shares a sonic scream ability with Jinshin Mushi, Which is also a plus. #CamazotzRules lol.

You got your wish! It's likely camazotz didn't die from that final punch kong gave him, It's gonna take Alot more than a Broken jaw and missing teeth to kill off such a titan. Seeing Him and His army on screen would be Great. Especially if it has cgi and fight scenes on par with KSI's. I want him to have atleast one more appearance before the Monsterverse ends.

Plus the stats for Camozatz near the end panel of the comic mentions that Camozatz and his species traveled down into the hollow earth and live in the caverns there. This is another reason why I'd prefer a normal hollow earth exploration kong movie rather than the son of kong idea that's getting tossed around lol.
I agree that Kotm has bad fights but I enjoy them because of the way the monsters fight(for example Rodan fights like a bird and Ghidorah fights like a snake)

Great list dude! The reason I never understand why people enjoy the fights is because of all the cutting away and the shotty visuals. The choreography is bad too. You say Ghidorah fights like a snake, like when did this happen? Sure he slithers towards Godzilla when he's down, but other than that he only constricted Godzilla after the chokeslam. It's the same case as people saying all three necks had different personalities. Like... *really* ? Only for a couple seconds in the arctic, maybe. Rodan fights like a bird when dispatching the military, which is cool, but against other monsters like Ghidorah and Mothra? Nah. They just spin. It's boring. It isn't exhilarating or we don't get to see the full potential of their fighting styles. It's bad and I see no reason why anyone enjoys those fights.

Yeah. Still could have been a more visually entertaining fight that wasn’t so fast or boring. It’s shot TERRIBLY. HUGE disappoint compared to the concept art we got for that film depicting said underwater battle.

If Godzilla just bodies Ghidorah, whose supposedly the "strongest titan" ever, than Godzilla should have a tougher time with him. And KK19100 isn't saying that he wanted Godzilla to lose ultimately, just to at least lose one round or become extremely weakened from ghidorah, who again, is supposed to be a major threat to Godzilla and humanity. Making Godzilla op and making his classic opponent since the 60s extremely weak and act like a total wimp compared to goji, is not a good staked fight whatsoever. Also, what kind of excuse is that? Just because Godzilla is getting another movie doesn't mean he can't lose. I mean, look at kong, he lost yet it's been confirmed that he's getting another movie. Pretty childish mentality you got there lol.
1. Yes but Shinomura was still alive and Godzilla didn't kill him. That was my point.
2. No, Muto Prime is not trying to tire out Godzilla. She is retreating in order to gain enough power to actually stand long enough of a chance to implant her eggs in him. That doesn't excuse the fights being badly rendered and choreographed.
3. We don't want to see Godzilla completely lose all fights. Personally I'd rather have Godzilla struggle with Ghidorah than see him completely own Ghidorah throughout the movie. You're trying to excuse horrific fight choreography and writing because Godzilla is...gonna be in another movie anyways? That's not exactly right. The fights were still done poorly.
