This fight takes so long that the threat of worms coming in and screwing up the fight is so real. Guess best strat for safety would be to wait for a worm wave before doing toad.
what on earth... Im dying to moosegoose and you're over here making most players look like idiots lol. (I know this was done using mods for the equipment) also, is there anything that I could look up that could tell me when a good time to fight bee queen, shadow pieces, fuelweaver, etc? (I haven't lived past spring but I wanna kill all bosses in a vanilla world at some point eventually, so that would be good to know)
You know, I can't really tell you when is a good time to kill bosses, because I don't know what do you mean by "good time to kill bosses". Could you explain that to me please, I don't really seem to understand your question AKA I'm dumb. By the way in this fight I wasn't using any mods whatsoever, but in case you meant that I spawned in items via console commands then yes. And just so you know, I once died to mosslings.
@@moat_n_coat I guess I assumed you used too many items, but yeah. What I mean is like, should a player fight bee queen in the first year or should they wait? Just good seasons/day counts for more difficult bosses like Klaus, Shadow Pieces, fuelweaver, etc. I have trouble because I’ve not only survived past winter once, but the only character I can be decent at is Wilson. Hope that helped, it’s hard to explain
@@DeadlyOre The answer to your question is fight bosses whenever you feel like you are ready. There is no reason to rush any boss unless you feel like it. To be fair the only goal of this game is to survive and the rest is up to you. When it comes to beequeen though, if you are sure that you can kill her in first year go for it because her loot is way too good to pass, if you can't kill her that's okay. Kill her only when you think you are ready. What i said for beequeen also applies to klaus because even if his loot turns out to be bad you still get 4 wax papers for bundles and you will eventually kill beequeen so if you can I actually recommend you to kill klaus first year. For shadow pieces and fuelweaver you can kill them first year if you truly want to rush the game or you can take it slow and steady and enjoy your in game life altogether.
When I said no damage modifiers I meant no additional damage from specific characters or Warly's buffs. If morning star truly counts as damage modifier, I'm sorry.
@@moat_n_coat i mean, you can't benefit from volt goat jelly using morning star, means it's technically a damage modifier. it's not too much of a difference, just more annoying to do that with dark swords, and my comment is pretty cringe anyways.
@@thewitchidolsachika6682 I mean technically you're right soo... When I got time I could re-do misery. It will take an hour or so but it is all the same
Misery toadstool has A LOT more hp than regular toadstool, deals more damage, his buffing sporecaps take longer to chop down and his buffs are more potent than normal toadstool's buffs. Special reward for killing misery: napsack blueprint. Usually people use it to duplicate shroom skin.
It is completely random and can either happen several times to you or none at all. I'm not entirely certain if that's a bug but I think it is. That's the only reason i bring an axe. Thanks for pointing it out, some people might be confused.
@@moat_n_coat Some incredibly odd luck, then! Oh, and I've been wondering: if you alternate between freezing a raid boss and putting them to sleep, will their freeze/sleep resistance wear off more like gunpowder resistance, or is their sleep/freeze resistance permanent?
@@lexfordjackenstiresirjacke2082 Sleeping and freezing resistance are permanent and never wear off unless toadstool despawns so better use those wisely. I was using sleep darts simply to buy a little bit of time to burn spore caps and run away.

As I said this video is kinda boring so i don't blame you.

I think you might be overexaggerating...
