- A fun run, I was at this car meet and this guy said he could’ve get me in a roll, I we decided to run it. It was a quick Camry but still got him. Good run overall! Filmed in Mexico.

The car is an Si, and the rear diffuser/lip is from abs dynamics.

Yea bro it was just a fun run. I Haven’t ran a tuned gti yet, but I assume it’ll be a pretty close race Lmk if you’re in NJ, maybe we can run it.
I’ve always felt the Camry could use a faster model. Even the TRD that looks the part doesn’t really make much power. V6 Accords and Altimas etc. Always have better aftermarket support and always end up being quicker. The Toyotas stay on the road forever, but they’re not much of a sport sedan.
The Camry in this video is older. The new Camry V6 and accord 2.0t sport literally have the same quarter mile times according to motor trend when the then new models were tested in 2018. So no they're not even quicker lol. Furthermore, there are many advantages to have a V6 that many buyers prefer over a small 4 cylinder and it's not just reliability but sound, smoothness, etc.
Also didn't age well, Honda went soulless and doesn't even have an accord 2.0t sport model anymore. They all either have the 1.5t base engine that's in all the other Honda's or a 2.0 liter n/a hybrid making just 200HP.
Altimas are usually junk so that's an unfortunate comparison (have you seen their CVT's, a Camry V6 is a way better car), their Sentra is currently a better product then the Altima. The Altima was never worth mentioning, at least use the Maxima as an example for heavens sake
As for the TRD edition, of course it doesn't make more power it's an n/a V6 they can't just turn up the boost. So they focus on aesthetics and some handling they aren't gonna change a significant part of the engine it'd be too expensive.
Oh, and Nissan just announced that the Nissan Maxima is ending production and will not be made again(unless electric). Oh well

Accord 2.0T 0-60 5.4/ TRD V6 0-60 5.8.
And the Accord does it with 252 HP vs the Camry V6 301 HP.
Not to mention:
Accord with 1 single mod 300+ HP, a few tenths off 0-60 and a full second off 1/4 mile.
TRD V6 with 1 single mod- maybe a ~10-15 HP gain and a tenth or two off 1/4 mile.
Accord 2.0T >TRD V6 if you’re looking for a quick sedan or a sedan to modify.
TRD V6 > Accord 2.0T only if you like that boy racer ground effects stuff.
i wasnt aware they made any modz for the v6 camry. muffler swap and cold air intake at the most. race something remotely qwik and see how the civic hangs. run of the billion focus st roaming around.

@@Frostymane.In handling they’re all good but the 10th gen is slightly better since it has sport mode which helps a little. In speed stock for stock the 10th gen is faster. Fbo vs Fbo the 10th gen is faster. Now if you’re looking for big power (500whp+) that’s where the k series wins.

The looks, the sound, the power, hard to find anything else like it imo. Hopefully I’ll be able to pick one up this year, but if not, then I’ll go with an 8th Gen si sedan or a teggy

That camry driver isnt redlining or pushing the engine at all😂. I chirp my tires at 30 mph in my 08 ES350 and i always bully these shitty little si civics. The other day i beat a bolt on modded up si by over 7 car lengths. I also beat sti's and charger rt's. This camry driver makes the 2gr fe engine look so bad 💀💀
