From the looks of it, that 2nd Gen. Trans Am Burt Reynolds was driving didn't seem to crunch up really bad on impact from a landing unlike the 69 Charger General Lee, those Chargers crunched up real bad in the front and in the back. Also, that was a Knight Rider style Trans Am Burt was driving in some of those scenes. I saw a little bit of the PMD seats inside too. :)

the general jumps had far...far, much more speed than these trans ams. the chargers were stronger.
