  • The Pontiac Trans Am, a true all American muscle car, product of 1970's pop culture, and was made a true icon by the legendary and unforgettable 1977 film, The Smokey and the Bandit!
This about 8 minute compilation is put together show casing all the best and most action packed moments of the original bad ass 1977 Bandit Trans Am A.K.A. BAN-ONE in full 1080P splendor with the original unadulterated HD audio track!
This is also my little tribute to its equally legendary driver "The Bandit" himself (Burt Reynolds) whom we sadly lost this year at the ripe age of 82. We miss you Burt! Oh' and we miss you too poor deceased Pontiac Trans Am! R.I.P. Burt and R.I.P. Trans Am.
    Enjoy folks!

It was these scenes that cemented my love for the black and gold Bandit Trans Am. I was five years old when I first saw Smokey and the Bandit back in 2002 and I fell in love with that black Trans Am, as well as the cast and stuntmen and women that brought this film to life. I actually had a distant relative Hank Worden who made a brief cameo appearance in Smokey and the Bandit and my Dad used to own a black and gold 1982 Trans Am like the one from the 3rd Bandit movie. Happy to now be the proud owner of a 1979 Bandit Trans Am!

Although most of the car noises weren’t from the trans am it made the movie that much better. Loved it. The new enhanced version has gotten rid of the sounds and to me it’s not the same as far as the car noise. In this version a couple scenes you can actually hear the real sound of the TA when it drives by you can hear that 4 barrel from the quad from that 403 olds.

I also like this movie it's was very funny just like the this movie i this is one of my favorite movies I have it on DVD part one two and three I wish that Burt Reynolds was still alive to make more he was really really really funny and is like almost like the Dukes of Hazzard but with the Pontiac trans am versus the general Lee and I wish that Jackie Gleason and Rosco p Coltrane were working together in the movie Smokey and the bandit rise again and I think if they ever make Smokey and the bandit again I hope they make it into a movie or TV show from Gabrielle Rivas

I hope they NEVER attempt to insult one of the greatest movies of all time by remaking or updating it. This movie is a snap shot of America in the mid 1970s. What would the modern PC version be like? I can just see it now. The Bandit trying to deliver a dead man’s donor penis to a hospital for a sex change operation before the ice melts in the cooler and it becomes unusable for the procedure. Trigger could either be a Toyota Prius while the Bandit tries to hyper mile it to reduce his carbon footprint or a Tesla trying to get it there without stopping to recharge the batteries. I’d support the death penalty for anyone who would attempt to disgrace such an American institution.

I bought this movie on Amazon video not too long ago. And the 1st thing I noticed? Was that they changed the sounds of the vehicles. I was SO disappointed. Like why???

Not many people know that in many shots Burt Reynolds was doubled by the german stunt-driver Rey Burtholz. Not related. Truest fact ever.
