Would you possibly consider making a longer video about this change? Like how a set up looks now, which trackers go where and what software does it all end up in? This sounds like an interesting change but I am super new to VR and curious of the breakdown of this change
Software fucks it all up. Need to get rid of software and make it simpler. No account creations that's fucking stupid and no unecessary nonsense like downloading random files off the internet either.

No chest tracker means I'm not sure I will buy in. The chest tracker for me was the one which finally made the hip tracker feel reliable enough to trust!
there's also the vive ultimate trackers that don't use base stations for pcvr. (Though costs as much, set up finicky, and is still in 'beta'... let them cook another few months.)

Sony added a native way to connect to the SlimeVR software from the mocopi app :) SlimeVR is entirely open-sourced, and their tracking quality is superior for this reason. Previously it was VERY difficult to use mocopi in the SlimeVR software. However, it is now extremely quick and simple due to this update! Which is a very big deal for VRChat users who are enthusiastic about full body tracking. It is still IMU-based tracking, which has both pros and cons compared to standard lighthouse trackers like Vive. I go into depth on this in my recent SlimeVR video if you are interested in learning more details of how it all works ^_^

SlimeVR software with the mocopi trackers. As I understand it, Slime has the better software and mocopi has the better trackers. So best of both worlds.

I would buy mocopi but 200+ is a well price but i sometimes feel like its not worth it but is but then having to worry about loosing them but i 2ill be probably ch3cking it out
Tried slime vr and I hope I won't touch slime again I don't like setting it up it was uncomfortable and set up was akward and it never wanted to be in the right place tracking blew my mind tho very nice just not my thing
im not paying no 200 dollars for tracking when its the same price for a quest 2 i feel that addon peices shouldnt cost the same price as the system it self

Mocopi alone is definitely a lot worse than slime when it comes to tracking capability. I'm curious about the combined tracking though, since it does look good in this video and mocopi is a lot less bulky. Depending on when you ordered the slimes, they will probably ship April or May according to slimevrs discord shipping updates. I'm actually waiting for them to catch up to orders, because I really dislike waiting so long, but it currently looks promising. Been watching the progress for years now
Please, pLEASE do not get the mocopi, it sounds like I’m just hating on them but i truly am not i bought them, and they no longer work to be able to be set up in vr hat, and if you move too fast it disconnects and blah blah blah i highly wouldn’t recommend
