@@SDsailor7 Psst, don’t interrupt him while he’s shouting at a cloud. You’re liable to startle him and make him poot a little bit in his pants.
Anyway, throw out something new-ish I should check out. Make it something or someone I might not be aware of. I’ll give you one: Louis Cole. You might know him as the drummer of novelty band Clown Core, but his last couple of solo albums are tight. He’s also half of the jazz/rock duo Knower. Anyway, he’s a great musician and worth checking out.

This is the greatest hard rock album of all of time. I am now in my sixties and I can remember the Christmas morning when my parents gave me this album.
It sands up to any album ever made by anyone. I emediely went down stairs and began the long journey to play it on the drums. They say John Bonham is regarded as one of the best drummers of all time, listen and whatch his drum solo on How the West was Won from 1971 and me tell me he's not the best drummer of all time. I am sure you will agree. In college I had a radio show and I was known as the Zepologist I had done extensive research on the whole band.
The LOVE I have for this band will live forever. Keep in mind this band would not exist if it weren't for John Paul Jones. He did all of the arrangements which is LZ best quality. I am now going to put on my brand new Led Zeppelin shirt and enjoy the rest of my life. Take Care.

@@bajsmog The Warning got noticed when they were kids by the cover they did of Metallica's enter sandman, if you look for it it the one that has 25 million views.
I recommend their live concert at teatro Metropolitan CDMX to
See how great they are and if you like their music then watch their two presentations at the TEDx talks were they talk about how they got started as a band. The first presentation is the one from 2016 and then the following year 2017
The first video is the one we're the lead singer is wearing a skirt. In the first video they play one original song and two covers and on the second presentation the three songs are their compositions.
And then I recommend the live concert they did at Lunario in 2018 were they performed their concept album Queen of the Murder Scene (yes a concept rock album)in its entirety with some songs from their first album.
      The sisters all play piano.
The lead singer is Dani 24 yrs (Daniela), guitar, lead vocals, Pau 22 (Paulina) Drummer, lead and backing vocals and Ale 19(Alejandra)bass and backing vocals and sometimes lead vocals.
They extremely talented and very humble.
      Hope you enjoy their music.
They have brought back rock from the dead.

Ritchie Valens gives it that 50 rock sound, but the boys reached further back and gave this a very juke sound. The sound comes from delta blues (including some of the artists that Zeppelin was accused of ripping off).
I’m fully in the camp that Led Zeppelin is the greatest rock band in history, but I also understand that it’s a matter of opinion and taste. What I will stand firm on is that Led Zeppelin is also the greatest Blues cover band of all time.

I think you have a natural sense of “time” from how I see your body language unfold during these reactions - reacting naturally to the backbeat. Anyway, there’s no better place to start than John Paul Jones and Bonzo. Now, go and get a drum kit and have a lesson. I think you’re a drummer!

You probably have a long list of albums to check out, but if you liked Boogie with Stu and Black Country Woman, you might want to go back to the source: Delta Blues. Rock music has had many influences, but the Blues is the mother lode, the wellspring from which Rock and Roll flowed.
And this is why the earliest Rock and Roll was hated by many in the white establishment world. Rock was “negro music”. Priests and parents were particularly scandalized by Rock & Roll.
Pretend I wrote several more paragraphs about youth culture, the generation gap, and mimicry of different aspects of black American culture, which became the source of cool.

Watching this and thinking this is one of the less fantastic sides of any album they made .... still it is more fantastic than most artists ever made - lovely. Not banjo - Page and Jones were both excellent mandolin players and used them extensively through the years. Fun fact - about half of the songs on this album were outtakes from earlier albums.

Disc Two, Side Two. It's my least favorite side of Physical Graffiti but none of the sides are bad on this album. I have to say there are two songs on this side that standouts with me: The Wanton Song because it rocks and Sick Again because the lyrics are true to form about a rock star's observation of the groupie scene.

I'm not saying it's bad, I quite like it,but I saw somewhere on UA-cam Page wasn't keen. It was too poppy for him and he imagined fans with their lighters out singing along to the chorus, which wasn't his thing. Could also be he because had no hand in writing it, which was unusual.

    • @user-zh9zz5ru6r
      @user-zh9zz5ru6r 2 місяці тому

@@ianhampton1208 he did indeed say in an interview that he considered it too 'soft rock' and yes, it was one of two songs on the album he did not write. Given the circumstance around which the song was written (the death of Plant's young son), something tells me he made peace with it. Page and Plant are still so close after all the years since, and the song over time has become one (of many) of the best Zeppelin anchor songs that I wouldn't be surprised if he'd loved it just as much if Heart had performed All My Love with Jason Bonham at the Kennedy Centre evening instead of Stairway

Moon River (his huge vocal range a capella, just him):

If you want to do albums you have In My Room, DJesse Vol 1, Vol 2, and Vol 3. Volume 4 will be coming out in a couple of weeks. He was influenced by Bobby McFerrin, Joni Mitchell and Stevie Wonder among others. Did I mention that he's a musical genius?
