Bob had to paint in a hurry due to tv time constraints. Don’t rush your work or sacrifice the quality for UA-cam. I will watch no matter how long the video is
Thank you! I totally get the tv time for Bob! It was so cool how quickly he was able to get those paintings done. I'm hopping if I can keep a reasonable time it will make the editing and posting easier for me. The longer the painting, the longer it takes me to edit it. Hopefully I will find the sweet spot and it'll all come together. I really appreciate you watching and commenting. I hope I can continue to make fun and interesting paintings for us all to enjoy for many years to come. Thank you again
@@KayleeRakowskiArt Kaylee you have become my morning routine! Me and little fat dog watch you from 5-6:30 and then I leave for work. Keep up the great work
I was able to complete this tutorial, I really enjoyed it. Thank you! It was the first one I tried at home since I started painting. I couldn’t quite get the beach part to my liking, so I scraped it off and made it just ocean on the bottom. It’s still gorgeous, I have a frame on the way in the mail.
You did amazing, Kaylee! I always found seascapes a bit of a challenge to paint, but yours came out beautifully! I'm out sick today, so watching you paint this was a perfect way for me to relax and get better! :) Mike
Aw thank you Mike. Sorry to hear you're feeling the ick. Hydrate and relax, I've got you covered. Oh and I have a new tutorial coming out today. Should be a fun one! Tonight @ 5pm mountain standard time.
I think u did a lovely job on this painting. It's very realistic. The waves are wonderful. I love the rocks. I learned a few things as well. Thank you. U go, girl.
Water with wet on wet oils are outmatched. I don't think there is a single easier way to achieve such effects with paints but I'm sure someone will say so lol
@KayleeRakowskiArt Unbelievable! You definitely don't paint like you were self taught. Thank you for instructing others along on their art journies and goals
@@cr8244 thank you so much ❤ I've been working really hard and it's such a joy for me to be able to share it with those who will appreciate it. Thank you for being here with me!
Kaylee, it seems to me that your skies and water are progressively evolving into more impassioned expressions. The palate knife appears to be be working effectively for you. Horizon lines seem tricky, i have seen and perhaps you may have also seen some other artists use masking tape ala Bob Ross or even draw the line lightly with pencil just to make that effort easier, just a thought and not a criticism. I continue to spend evening times resting as I watch you do your craft. Thanks so much.
Thanks! I try both -- it usually just feels more natural to do it freehand but I will admit, done of them bother me. Everyone learns differently, I am stubborn 😂
You are a great teacher, I love the way you explain as you paint
Thank you so much 😀
Oh how time flys by so fast when one paints!! (I just watched) you're a good instructor Kaylee keep on instructing, your very talented 🤩
Thank you so much!
Very nice seascape Kaylee! Unique from others I’ve seen and a great sky!

@@Melliottfineart wow that's so cool, thank you so much! ❤️❤️
I don't care how long the videos are as long as we get to see the whole process! I'm not in any hurry so take as long as you need.

Another great tutorial Kaylee. Apologies asking again but could you say the canvas size you use for each tutorial including this beautiful one. Alice
Alive I always paint on and 18"x24"
AMAZING!!! How long have you been painting and how many years of training?
